If we assume Des and BFG both to be town, then from my perspective, there are two scum teams - Hallia/Rags/Alanna or Lates/Sili/Dice. Because if not, they could have easily switched to lynch either BFG or Des.

 

So, unless we consider these scenarios, there is no way I see Des and BFG both town. One of them have to be scum.

If EITHER of them are Town, Lates is confirmed Town. That leaves one possibility according to your theory. Let's test your theory and lynch Hally.

I still haven't seen a good logical reason for Des to want us to vote him instead of Hally. There's no way for him to know what her alignment is aside from *guessing* and he should know that as Town Doc he is probably the most important piece on the Town board. At this point he should probably want to prove me wrong as much as he wants to prove himself right...
