Eek, it's almost 1 so I need to get some sleep before tomorrow, so I'm out.

i respect your wim bfg. did you really read everything?

 

i had doubts about pral so i did a little fact-checking and confused myself. awkward.

 

yates is convinced hallia's scum. i merely suspect. and if she is scum, i disagree. her spew doesn't clear pral.

 

i go back and forth on some people because they sound so town sometimes. it's very annoying.

Just reread this Day :/ and checked a few things like EOD1 voting, although I lost DM mid way through that so didn't read all the way through.

 

This weekend has been incredibly frustrating, for once I actually had time to reread and then couldn't access the internet at all :(

 

Pral's currently in my solve, because I think Lates is town, but it's possible that I made a faulty assumption there, (that one of them must be mafia, given that Lates unvoted when Des voted me) so that might change my possible teams.

 

Thanks for clarifying, I read that differently, problem with reading so late.

What makes you think he's lying? There are bad reasons in his posts; they appear fabricated at points - but this is the same guy who made my signature.

 

Anyway, I'm not sure if I believe Halia, and I'm trying to go over the possibilities in my head, but It's all a mess because I'm all dried up and haven't paid much attention to the last 20 pages or so. I want to frame my thoughts by way of another poe to jog a spark in my wim, but damn it's hard to think of a reason why.

If you are to believe Hally, then that means that scum RBed us *AND* tried to kill us last night.

Berf was in danger of being lynched. Instead of thinking about sheltering from NK, with minutes left, he would be thinking about saving himself. If he was really VT, he would have claimed VT instead of soft claiming.

Yeah, so I read it, then apparently forgot Yates was thinking the scum might not have a roleblocker, in one sense or another, even though key already confirmed it; if she's town then the slot has no reason to lie about who they target, and if she's scum then regardless of their personal role, Yates was blocked somehow.

 

I guess him saying stuff about there being a night kill-roleblocker role makes a little more sense now.

In my experience claiming vanilla is never effective because it's easy for scum to do. Better to leave breadcrumbs, which are just as easy to replicate, but that have utility that goes beyond eod.

With 6 needed to achieve a lynch, no lynch was achieved.

So, Yates, what happened here? How did scum bottle this up?

 

If we assume Des and BFG both to be town, then from my perspective, there are two scum teams - Hallia/Rags/Alanna or Lates/Sili/Dice. Because if not, they could have easily switched to lynch either BFG or Des. 

 

In that case, what happened to the 4th scum? Or is there a 4th scum at all?

 

Couple of scenarios I can think about are,

1. Monstr's phone went dead and he was not able to secure the lynch

2. Sili might have assumed hybrid hammer and thought BFG was already lynched (unlikely, because he would have been warned in the scum QT)

 

So, unless we consider these scenarios, there is no way I see Des and BFG both town. One of them have to be scum.
