1. It is true i sounded different in my last game with pral, though i hardly paid attention to pral but i guess he paid attention to the people who were paying attention to me. it's whatever. it was my second and a half game when i played with him, and this is my sixth. i'm also moody. and i don't feel like poetry this round.

2. tommy never floated anything. he cfd' me then cfd' thane under 2 hours to eod. that was the only reason a wagon was on me. because coria and lates decided to do it, and manbat too. they had no reason or justification. they just wanted to see my reaction. Much hate btw </3

3. i mentioned the blue thing 10 or 12 times, as a frivolous joke, over the span of 10-20 pages. i stopped after i was told i was being scummy.

4. my read of tommy slowly adjusted during day 1. i seriously suspected he was scum from 7-30 pages or something and i let it fall off after that. i never made any real attempt to push it. it's blatantly false i thought tommy was scum most of day 1 though. most was null scum/town then more town towards eod.

1. No comments, lol

2. Saying tommy's vote as the only reason for the wagon on you is naive. Pretty sure your consistent posts claiming town cred and your sniping at TOmmy and others caused that.

3. Definitely didn't look like a joke. More like desperate attempts. Maybe the first few looked like it but thats about it

4. Fair enough. But even during some end stages, you were hinting at Tommy.

im totally down with a scum team of sili key/bfg and alanna

during that "trap" of desackbarthera alanna responses scream scum at me.  Something else that stood out to me was how much alike sili and alanna sounded. too much alike imo.

i can vote any of the three.

im going  ##vote sili

Dice- if say either Sili or Key flipped town, how would that affect your reads of the other two?

you sound pretty elitist, but ill try to reason with you despite your condescension.

I'm just going to bold the things that are lies or outrageous exaggerations/misrepresentations, and I will expect anyone who's actually been following the thread to agree pral is speaking nonsense. Then I will add a few lines of text detailing where he's wrong, or right at the end.

Dice, why are you so angry and hyper-aggro? does my presence really annoy you so much you feel like you need to put me down?

or maybe you can accept that i thought your post sounded elitist and condescending, and that while you don't have to apologize for it you should respect that's how i feel?

I'm legit not trying to troll right now, but Sili's posts at this point are bringing me a great amount of amusement

It's like his default reaction to anyone suspecting or fosing him this game is to call them elitist jerkface meanyheads and threaten to put them on ignore and possibly permanently remove them from his christmas card mailing list

I certainly don't remember him being this reactionary in any of his other games. In fact, he seemed a lot more like Arsis, like comically fine with people suspecting or lynching him.

No, I've legit been getting scummy vibes from you since D1, Sili. That's why I voted you. Your early clearing, seeming far too comfortable with older players and your first post saying you were town, again, all stuck out. I wasn't just looking for a reaction.

Fair enough. Tom and Dingus were though, and I believe they started the wagon.

Correct me if I'm wrong?

Actually I'm pretty sure I started the wagon on you before logging for the night. Your reaction to AJ's claim was wolfy as heck and begged for my vote.

Thing is Sili, Alanna's town and scum game are pretty much the same, so saying confidently that she is in her "town range" sends up all sorts of flags.

Yup. I can confirm this.

I'm actually going to finally go finish reading EOD1, cause why not.

Had quotes saved from earlier that I'm meh about at this point, a bunch of Sili's that I was going to destroy, and then a bunch of reaction posts from people after PC. I'll just summarize my opinion of those really quick to save me the trouble-

Arsis, Manbat, and Rags all look good. Berf's looks pretty bad. Sili had basically a lack of a reaction to the no-deaths thing, very odd. AJ and Hallia's "reaction" posts were kinda meh. AJ joked about Tom having scum not submit a NK to help clear himself, and Hallia didn't really react to the no deaths thing and commented on something else. Alanna and BFG both did about the same- no reaction to no deaths, and both opened the day with posts focusing on a relatively minor detail in the already ongoing conversation (Alanna's was about doc self-protecting not gross, interesting since scum would have likely thought they hit a Doc who self-protected, and BFG's was a mechanic question of Arsis' Watcher role that looked pretty irrelevant to me). Tommy's wasn't that bad, for him. Someone else jumping at the chance to think they might be doc-cleared would be wolfy as hell, but for him that's pretty null.

Also I DID want to highlight this posts, to once again reiterate the slip I found from Alanna and why her explanation doesn't really hold up:

I don't know I'll mull it all over for a while. There are certainly some thoughts to put together.

I'm feeling the same. I want to think things through and give everyone a chance to weigh in before we move on a lynch. It does seem like lynching Tommy or Despo is the move to make today, we should get scum one way or another.

Unless Despo is a townie lying to get Tommy lynched. Which, you know, is completely within the realm of possibility for him.

Okay so firstly I really feel the complete opposite of AJ irt this post- I think scum are actually more likely to say something like "I want to think things through and give everyone a chance to weigh in before we move on a lynch". Looks like a scummer trying to look protown, and also keep from having to commit hard to any side.

Anyways, pay attention to enlargened. Here she is CLEARLY saying either me or Tommy looks likely to be scum, and pay attention to the timestamps here and in next posts

So...how does this make a difference? I mean, if Arsis is to believed, then no one visited Tommy last night, meaning he wasn't doc protected. Which either means Despo is town and is lying to get Tommy lynched, Despo is scum and is lying to get Tommy lynched, or Despo is town and was roleblocked by a town roleblocker.

Or, you know, Arsis is lying.

So AFTER being open to Tommy being scum, she then for some reason reverts to "coming from the angle that Tommy was telling the truth" when listing ALL possibilities later on?

Nope. She scum slipped. She KNEW Tommy wasn't scum and her team didn't block me so forget to list that as a possibility.

Posted

So it wasn't that Alanna had Tommy as firmly town since the EOD1, and was operating from that mindset (that he was town) when summarizing the possibilities. She just straight up slipped.

Her reaction since I pointed out the slip also hasn't been good either, rl stuff aside.

Kk gonna go popcorn it up and read some EOD action

Actually that reminds me- two quick hot Despot tinfoils that I wanted to get out-

1. Tommy going through the "Oh I thought Alanna was a newer player" thing a while ago had me worried he was using that as a way to cover his backtracking on his town read of her

2. Pray going "I don't know what happened with no deaths, I assume it was scum and Doc targeting Tommy" could have been an attempt to derpclear himself, like he def didn't actually know what happened or something. Seemed like it coulda been forced. His casing of my top scum targets since then however makes me feel a bit better about him again.

Posted

Pral definitely went for the derp clear as scum with me last time. Clov's doc claim for example. Either that or he really didn't read scum chat until he was fully caught up, but I doubt that.

Posted

Key and Verb are the two I think most strongly fail the tone test. I think Key is the scummiest player ITT by a considerable margin.

I'm slowly, very slowly building doubts on Sili as the game continues. I would love for him to be a cop check soon.

Just finished reading page 126- AND HOW IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS BOTH HOLY AND UNHOLY DID YALL NOT LYNCH SILI WHO WAS OBVSCUM AND MOVE TO THANE WHO WAS OBVTOWN

Jesus Christ. I told myself I wouldn't let my blood pressure rise while reading EOD, but holy jeeez Sili's reaction to the train on him..... *shudder*

Posted

Tommy shouldn't you WANT Alanna lynched today? I get that Key looks scummier on the surface with tone checks, but if Alanna flips scum you're LOCK CLEAR for the rest of the game.

I hate saying this, but- are you worried she'll flip town?

Yes, I think she's more likely to flip town than Key is.

Pral listed AJ as null, not expressly grey or black. But grey or black is null on most lists. Purple isn't.

The point of contention has nothing to do with color code. Pral listed his reads as null/ not null, etc.

Yates. I would ask that you respond to this when you can.

The problem is Pral didn't really define his reads at all so I don't see how ANYONE can jump to conclusions about his reads outside of the order he listed them in.  I found it questionable that someone that had marked AJ as "purple" was suddenly voting Pral for having AJ in the "I don't know what to do with him" pile - which is what I think of when I see null or gray.  And saying "I don't know what to do with him" when you are talking about a Survivor claim is totally reasonable.  I didn't want to get this specific until after Pral cleaned up his reads.  I'm not caught up from last night but I saw Pral had posted so we'll see what he had to say.  If he hasn't cleared his AJ read up?  Then have fun.

If you have time to find, say, scum Alanna hedging all over the place -- maybe I would feel less bad about it.

But before your ISO I had good-to-strong town gut feels from her, so I'm hesitant.

Posted

Yeah Tommy but apparently a lot of your "gut" read on her was developed during the EOD monstrosity I'm reading right now, and clearing her for the posts she was making during that time.... *shudder*

It's bad yo. You led a really bad CFD, prob saved one scummer (Sili) and maybe even helped save another scummer (Berf). Like if you're town and I hadn't put on my GOAT horns, you prob wouldve ended up as town LVP. Anyways you led a horrible CFD which landed on a townie, and Alanna was the first to follow along, and did so in a pretty questionable manner

Part of why I thought her behavior at EOD1 was good was my mental conception of her as a newer player who wouldn't have a good scum range. I gauged her potential duplicity level as low.

With the new information that she's a capable wolf I'm less certain it was good.

But I still wouldn't be surprised if she flipped town.

I would be more surprised if Key did. So -- I prefer to lynch Key.
