problem with saying everything all at once is you're just repeating yourself from then on. i don't know how many different ways i can say alanna and key are town, after posting a stream of consciousness. and im accused of playing badly for it too so i kind of don't want to. nevertheless, little harm in trying to play for the village.

 

alanna is inside her town range, to my naive eyes, especially considering the circumstances ott i guess. not sure why it's wrong not to consider real life troubles, but im not particularly opposed to it. that aside, besides desp's usual nonsense most of the alanna push is tinfoiled, and tinfoiling her is frivolous when there are so many better leans. verbal, pral, me.

 

that said, it is my first game with bfg or key, so maybe i'm wrong about their slot at least. still, i think it's too convenient all my scum leans are expressing an openness to push her, so i run into a road bump again. i think bfgkey is town because i think some of what bfg has posted is weird for scum to post (like going over the thread and posting quotes for later), and it doesn't make sense bfg is scum in context, to me.

OK so this has annoyed me right thru the game. You keep saying this about people yet my understanding is ure a new player.  theres no way you have played enough with Alanna to know her "town range"

 

Please explain to me how you know what people ranges as scum or town are?  are you more experienced then i thought? how often have you played with people like des or aj or alanna?

during that "trap" of desackbarthera alanna responses scream scum at me.  Something else that stood out to me was how much alike sili and alanna sounded. too much alike imo.

One thing that is very apparent in his posting this game is the focus and specific targetting that he has displayed since the start of the game. One of the comments that came up the previous game where I was scum was that he was unintelligible and confused but I don't see that in this case. He started going against Tommy without any reason and continued to maintain that most of D1.

Also, there were way too many posts insisting he was town and he needs to be looked as town. Once or twice is fine, but his posts looked desperate, as if he wanted to reinforce that fact very hard.

What was interesting is that there were a few people wanting to consolidate but his train kind of gets stalled. He starts trying to shame the players into not voting him

From 20 pages onto 120, I cared about a town victory. Now at the end of the line realizing I've been stabbed in the back, I will say this. If I do live, I do not care if town wins.

This is when Tommy floats the Thane wagon (which is a dick move especially since he is not online during this time but kinda typical for Tommy because he has tried this in many games, includng against me). All those hesitating for Sili immediately jump on this train with the pretext of getting the lynch. The whole situation looked more like trying to avoid a SIli lynch and get people to lynch a town. Berf was not getting traction especially when he posted during the final minutes and thane sounded too convenient.

The whole wagonomics makes me sure Sili is scum here.

you sound pretty elitist, but ill try to reason with you despite your condescension.

 

i'm inexperienced, not bad. i may not understand or grasp all the mechanics as quickly as those who know the roles, but i can still read people better than a few.  i know allana is within her town range because her tone is similar to the one i know. this does not necessitate that she falls outside of her wolf range, and it hardly scratches the surface of how i read people. but what i said of alanna is meant to facilitate communication only: alanna can be a villager, and there are better targets to lynch than those who you need to tinfoil.

 

at some point you're just going to have to accept i'm good at reading people through text. or if i'm not good, then i'm at least proud of it and in denial over my inability to read people.

 

basically what your argument boils down to is i can't argue, make a case, or in general scum hunt because i'm a noob, and i'm not ashamed to call this line of thinking stupid and asinine. i will always state my opinions as long as i have the wim to do it, and it doesn't matter if others believe me now or later. Not to mention, very few people in this game has actually played with a scum Alanna. I have not played and there will be just a handful of players who know her scum meta. So, I don't understand how people confidently say that she is playing scum or town purely by her way of posting (That is one of the reasons why I rely on wagonomics for scum hunting)

1. It is true i sounded different in my last game with pral, though i hardly paid attention to pral but i guess he paid attention to the people who were paying attention to me. it's whatever. it was my second and a half game when i played with him, and this is my sixth. i'm also moody. and i don't feel like poetry this round.

2. tommy never floated anything. he cfd' me then cfd' thane under 2 hours to eod. that was the only reason a wagon was on me. because coria and lates decided to do it, and manbat too. they had no reason or justification. they just wanted to see my reaction. Much hate btw </3

3. i mentioned the blue thing 10 or 12 times, as a frivolous joke, over the span of 10-20 pages. i stopped after i was told i was being scummy.

4. my read of tommy slowly adjusted during day 1. i seriously suspected he was scum from 7-30 pages or something and i let it fall off after that. i never made any real attempt to push it. it's blatantly false i thought tommy was scum most of day 1 though. most was null scum/town then more town towards eod.

I think I first considered her being scum at around page 60. I forget why, in particular, but it was like she ended a statement short or something. As she posted i revised this opinion. Her comments reminded me of her play-style when she was town.

 

She put to words, differently, why tom was middle of the road between scum and village. it was unusually helpful, and i went with the flow. i commented she was town at several points at various levels of certainty. i've become more sure recently.

 

As town i think she often hedges, so i don't read much into it. when she posted an explanation of her read on me, i thought it was understandable and accurate - probably something I would think if i had to judge my actions through a third party's eyes. it took me a while to respond to it because i had to contemplate a proper response, which should probably evidence that it was on point regardless of my alignment.

 

She got brownie points for being active at eod and on board with the cfd that saved me.

 

She got points today for consideration and paying enough attention to the thread to pick up on my soft claim (which may or may not be accurate; come@me scum) and incorporate it into her reads.

 

 

 

In general a few of her thought processes I have thought, would think, or do think myself. So when someone's arguments make that much sense, I kind of have to clear them, i figure.
