Dice man - I know you've got a lot on your plate and a big bike ride coming up and all BUT can you do me a solid? I haven't cleared you yet and I think that's weird for us. Can you just drop some nuggets of Dice wisdom in the thread for me to devour?

Funny that you're now employing the practices of the same players you've said should adapt to DM.

 

I find the tone of this post mildly wolfy for you.

tell me if this makes sense cause i was thinking about this last night

 

 

a   if tommy is lying to us and is scum we have the usual problems we have when tommy is scum. I probably start shouting for him to be lynched come d3 and everybody will ignore me. at this point if theres a vig and he gets killed thats win win

 

b   if tommy isnt lying and IS beloved I think mafia leave him alive unless they absolutely have to kill him to save their hides. Tactically killing him late game is better for them then killing him early. killing beloved means a small loss for the mafia actually. they kill tom with a NK then they lose a possible mislynch and get an NK they would have gotten anyways. BUT if they kill him when numbers are low   especially if they have 2 out of say the last 5 or 6 players? THEN that no day phrase helps them.

 

i honestly think the best play for town is to lynch tommy day 3.  waits to get insulted.   at that point we can afford the loss of a day phase.  in fact it can be a good thing as it might save a mislynch. If he flips scum awesome we killed scum. if he does flip beloved then its not a loss that totally screws us over.

this is something i can go with actually.  with the exception of the arsis read i felt her reads list was very consensus-y .

 

 

I can also see what people are saying about key tho i admit to having not developed a read on her.  which probably means shes mafia actually.

I think the mechanics of the beloved princess work exact same if he's killed now, or if he's killed later. We'll still be less one town, and we'll still make the same mislynches unless the wolfpack makes a mistake with their night kills.

 

There could also be some other mechanic at play however, so perhaps we should keep that in mind as well.

oh and verb?   my aggressiveness??  it does happen sometimes.depends on if someone gives me something i can sink my teeth into.  it happens more often when toms in the game tho. he has a habit of saying things that give me something to sink my teeth into.

 

i think its one of the things AJ looks for to clear me with actually.

 

For examples see like d3 or 4 of Red Wedding i think it was. I went after tommy hardcore.

There's no "wasted mislynch" in scenario B: they effectively get a second night kill and can still mislynch whomever.

 

I reject your proposition for a multitude of reasons, but suggesting I should be lynched on D3 is like telling mafia exactly what to do, and is bar none the worst case scenario for the town.
