@ Zander: concise reads list please. All these questions are hard to follow and I literally don't know what you're getting at.

 

Ill show you mine if you show me yours.

 

Ill get one when I have a bit better feel for some of the players I have no real read on and some of the inactives check in and try to get a reread or ISO's done.

#401 I'm kind of chocking up Seph's early posts as trying to get the thread going, which in the long run is going to be pretty null as it can come from either alignment who wants a head start on a town read. At the moment, I like the jumpstart into the game (he's who you can thank for 17 pages of not-spam or gifs), so he's getting town read for the moment. I expect him to live up to that or fall from it. IRT his push on me, I laughed at him and moved on.

 

#413 Clov's assessment on Calder rings true, worded better than my conclusion I just posted on p35 or whatever <_<

Also, irt your conclusion on me. I've gotten really good at those catch up posts as either alignment. Sustainability isn't a problem. lol.

 

I guess I'm just used to a quicker startup...and it makes me nervous when people post once then don't. I've seem a few games where scum has won by lurking and letting town pick off each other to the end. By the time town noticed it was too late to do anything about it.

This is a little extreme, we're on DM, we don't let lurkers go unnoticed, trust me. But we're also not going to lynch them d1 because that basically means d2 is d1 all over again. I generally just use pressure votes and start yelling at people to get them in the thread, tbh

 

I think Zander is reading the Celeste/Liz situation differently. @Zander, think about how Lenlo feels when you attack him most every game. Then replace Lenlo with Celeste and you with Liz. That's pretty much how I'm reading this.

 

Seph defensive to Clov's analysis. @Seph: you think Clov was misrepping you about the start of the game?

 

reasons i questioned alanna at the beginning. to clear this up

1. her op. Every game I have played her, I bet alanna has been in 90% of them. I think that is a unusual Op for her, IT had nothing to do with tone.

2. her darthe vote. She said she wanted to gather reactions, and see who would notice because she doesn't normally vote early. however she ruined it by explaining that in the very next post. So yes I found that odd.

3. the flip flop thing as I explained was to see if she would try to explain the situation or simply give me something like she did. (angry, etc)

What kind of read DID you make based on my reactions?

Im reading it the way I am, nobodies seeing what Im seeing but we both know that's not a new thing and that it doesnt mean Im wrong either.  Ive been asking Penny questions looking for answers and shes not giving them to me,  If anything shes being evasive or answering with something else all together.

 

I dont care what Lenlo or Celeste feels, and both times I did it to Lenlo he was wolf...yes I was too for one of them but still.  If someone does something I dont like imma call it out.

 

What besides my frustration in Ghostbusters do yo feel is different from this game?  Are there differences or similarites from Shad's game where you read me incorrectly and mislynched me?

Clov I will utter no words about you still being alive if it gets to d3 and you're around and I'm being stupid. I promise.

Calder's the best I've got to go on right now. I wouldn't be shocked if he flipped town, seeing as most of the people whose reads I have faith in (basically you and Lainey) have him as null, but no one seems to have him as a strong town. So that's the best I've got.

 

 

 

 

Did I just quote a post of yours a few back where you said Zev was your best bet?

Calder will become more obvious as the game progresses.

 

Zev never makes it to end game as an inactive.

 

Agree with both, tho Calder is capable of fooling me like in BFG's game where the wolves got uber wrecked.

 

 

@Alanna Do you think scum Zander would focus on this?

"this" being you? I think that his tunneling is null. But I'm having trouble following him right now so I'm withholding thoughts until I can talk to him in thread and get some answers, if you don't mind.

His logic is terrible. He is certainly not on my town list.

this isn't in order, but let's put it like this, when hallia is conflating AtE with reads, it's a lazy way to make reads.

 

i assume she did the same for celeste though it goes unmentioned.

Parts are making my eyes glaze on mobile, but Celeste's response to pressure is one thing that stood out to me, read as kind of defensive

lazy read. super easy to make as either alignment. insubstantive. means nothing.

 

I AM ON VACATION IN A PLACE WITH NO WIFI AND SPOTTY INTERNET. For some reason I thought we had longer before the start. I have said I can play as often as possible. That you're trying to use that to vote for me is silly.

I think between her and Celeste, that Celeste looked scummier. I would lean slight town for now.

compares liz to celeste, and to paraphrase says celeste looks worse so liz is slight town.

 

only works this way if you are very confident celeste is a wolf because you are detecting spew.

 

this 'confidence' however is not clear in the statement. celeste looks like an easier catch, so she'll town read the other one.

 

Catching up, I have a town read on Seph and Darthe and Liz. Still scummy on Celeste. You don't believe me that I'm on vacation, I don't really care. I will ask for replacement since it seems to be unacceptable to some of you that I'm not CONSTANTLY here.

tl;dr majority of hallia's posts are AtE. Sometimes she mixes AtE with making reads. Her reads are insubstantive. One read in particular, on celste, is inconsistent with the notion a villager needs to find a villager because they're acting villagery, not because they're debating with someone you think is scummy.

Probably objectively untrue.

More dependent to the player themselves in a lot of cases imo.

 

 

 

3. Oh, if you're asking who I think is not playing and could potentially be mafia for it? I would say Zev is my highest suspect, because he's basically not showed up at all. (posting twice at the start of the Day, with one of those being a seemingly RVS vote is not what I call playing). Hallia is not as high on my suspicion list as she was because her tone when responding sounded exasperated townie enough...but I'm also not willing to give her a town pass for it until I see more or someone else convinces me that this is the town version of lurking Hallia. Thane is also not posting as much as I expected of town!Thane based on observing his play in your last game. Darthe was there, and then he was not. I don't know what I think of Darthe. I know he's posted fairly substantially but I feel like I have no real sense of him.

 

Why Zev over Thane?  What has he done or hasnt done that bothers you more then Thane?

 

 

Yes I did quote that post about Liz having Zev over Calder then Calder over Zev in a span of a few posts when Im not sure either posted in between.  Well I know Zev didnt for sure.

Does it really matter why I think Zev is town? As I implied earlier, I don't think it's a strong read. I just extrapolated how he would react in this context and it matches up pretty well with what I saw.

 

As to Hallia, yes I've played with her, and those two posts are scummy. Remind me when has a town ever read someone by comparing them to someone else? Never. That's what I thought.

You should have reasons for reads imo.  I mean were 40 pages in now,

 

I dont wanna sound rude so dont jump down my throat but I think your ISO on her is terrible.

 

AtE doesnt MEAN Scummy for sure.  Especially when you factor in what Penny said about her lying when shes mentioned this before the game. So some of us know its true.  Hallia is an emotional player and a person in general

 

Im not sold on Liz and Celeste being v/v atp I am sold on them not being w/w tho.  So I have np with Hallia's point there.
