My strategy:

I try to look at things that seem to be overlooked by everyone else. I have a stream of consciousness style of posting. I tend to just say what I think. This has the side effect of what I say sounding "weird", but it's just part of how I play. I'm trying to get better.

I'm gonna keep in mind what Cory said about Sooh. The only game I remember playing with her when she was scum, she was inactive due to RL issues. I don't know how to properly read her yet.

I've played a decent number of games with Sili. I'm usually right about his alignment, but then again he's usually town. I'm not one that gets caught up with his weirdness and thinks he's scum when he's not. The only game I can remember him being scum was the SW game when he was a traitor, and didn't know it til it happened. That was a weird dynamic, and not a good basis on reading.

Lenlo and Cat have Loki equity as I have already mentioned. Could easily be wrong about both of them, but being as I haven't seen anything scummy, this is where I'm going for now.

Everyone else is strictly null so far. It takes a while for be to get town reads, and several people don't have much content to base reads off of yet.

(P.S. Still wanna lynch hyrdas, but that's not enough reason to do so)

Tress what's bothering you about Leelou?

She's one of the people I am least confident in keeping in my light green pile and she's a slippery lass and her "trolling me to get a reaction" is definitely a stunt I could see a wolfteam pulling to try and level me (see: Tom in any game where we are w/v) so I'm not confident in just clearing someone because they were willing to go @ me

I'll have to re-read to see if I still feel that way, it's mainly a memory of thinking something struck me as weird when she went after you. She went on record as saying she didn't believe that the mafia had 4 days to plan before the game started, but then voted you for TMI when you suggested they did. It might have made perfect sense to everyone else but I just made a little note of it to mull over further.

This is interesting, I need to go back and reread that, because I thought it was Verb that said TMI, and Leelou agreed with him and then said she she thought he was setting someone up for a lynch.

Interesting. Cory hinting at mafia having had the opportunity to talk before the game started, and then Talya immediately suggesting that Sili and I have staged our conversation. That's convenient.

And then Leelou responding "Mhm".

But this only on the basis right now of seeing Leelou as being the scummier of Talya vs. Leelou.

How does Leelou normally play? Reading back I see a lot of off-topic joking posts, helpful posts/answering questions, the vote for Cory, the back and forth with Tal and then the switch to voting for Tal.

Both of her votes look relatively "safe" to me, i.e. voting for Cory because of the 4 day head start post (which is an easy target), and voting for Talya because Talya was pressing her. From the interaction, as I said earlier, I find Tal to actually be leaning more towards town, which makes me read Leelou as being slightly scummier. Then your bringing up that bit against Talya and her agreeing with you could be a scum on scum interaction, trying to frame Tal.

Not a heck of a lot to go on, as you can see, but I don't have a clear town on you from anywhere, which is why I'd like to hear Cory's thought process.

You're right. Hinting was a bad word. Suggesting would have been better. Sometimes, not often anymore, but sometimes, I get a bit lost in translation and use wrong words or unprecise words.

Talya suggested in this post that the conversation early on between Sili and myself looked staged. She put that directly in response to Cory's post about the mafia having had ample opportunity to prepare for this game. It seemed like she was trying to discredit the conversation we had had and make us out to be suspicious. Then again she didn't have any examples as to how it was staged, so I don't really know how she made that conclusion in the first place.

Talya is so difficult to read for me. I think I have read her as scummy in all the games we've played together so far.

If Sili is scum, this could be useful information to look at. Who he voted, who he didn't vote, and why...so early in the game, his vote hop list is surprisingly long.

John Snow - wanted to before game started, for aribtrary reasons

Lenlo - Meant instead of John Snow

Unvote - Bored of Lenlo

Sooh - calling residual vote 'sinister'

Unvote - After Sooh's line was explained

Lenlo - No further reasoning

Unvotes - considering it a town/town convo (don't remember offhand which convo he's referring to. pulling this list from ISO)

Cat - Explains later because "his first game related post came after an hour of floating, was completely blogus, and felt very obligatory on his part, as though it was made simply because he thought it should be."

Dice - Cuz he's only posting fluff

Unvote - cuz he's 'leveling'

Mish - No reason so far. Hasn't even mentioned Mish yet.

Eldrick, if you had read the thread fully, you would know I listed my scumreads, and they were all about 50%, and therefore I have no strong suspects atm. I change votes after examining someone. This is how the game works: you vote your primary suspect, and if that suspect looks more innocent than other candidates, you switch focus.

Mish is a suspect for reasons stated in thread; but when I have a case I will say something because I want results. Right now it is only a vote.

I have read the thread. Admittedly part of it was rushed, and I will reread. I did go over you ISO, though, because I have noticed to voted a lot of people so far.

What do you mean by scummy here?

Something that warrants voting them. Inconsistencies, erratic behavior, stuff like that.
