Aint as much to go through as I thought. These are pretty much her only game content posts of the game.

I was just starting to think AJ was the anti-town between the two of you, and then you turn that 180? Hmmm. Would have preferred if you'd stayed your course and not backtracked;  now I'm uncomfortable with you again.

Tina already covered the really interesting part of this, but something else I thought of, that line "Would have preferred if you'd stayed your course" in reference to Cloud going after AJ. Just seems like somewhat strange wording to say you would have preferred that. If she is town looking for scum, wouldn't she appreciate any slipup or flub by scum, since that would help her find em? Mebbe she would have preferred him staying after AJ cause she thought AJ would be an easier lynch? Eh I dunno just a thought.

Mish first don´t take a stand, just getting headache. Then after Cloud´s unvote she starts to think he might be scum. As others has already pointed out - we have two scum teams. Isn´t it possible that Cloud and AJ could be on each? Looks to me like Mish is looking at this from one of the teams.

I couldn't read at all if they were both town, both anti-town, or one of each. Then came Cloud's post where he dropped the case, and it made me feel like he at least was anti-town. Savvy?

So, in this posts you prod at both me, AJ and Cloud. So wich of us do you think are on a team with eachother? You speak like you think all three of us are suspicious, and since it's only two anti-town team, some of us must be teammates. So who is it you think?

I don't see much use in pushing for a lynch I don't believe in anymore. I don't play like this to get a person lynched without figuring out if he is town or mafia; I was trying to pressure him to get a better feel for his game.

"I will probably get lynched now" = pre-emptive AtE, backing down from your playstyle "oh yeah doing this gets me in trouble, I should probably stop it"; if you're town, why bother that your playstyle gets you into trouble? Then it's the the time-old "reaction test" and "game starter"-excuses.

And then you buddy me in the same post. Not good.

You have an interesting point about Mish not appearing to take the two scum teams into consideration. I also get the feeling that she is just watching from the sidelines, but she tends to sit on the fence a lot this early in the game so it isn't very telling imo.

And then you both slightly FoS me and defend me in the same sentence. Interesting.

Tina and Cloud, both anti-town, probably same team I'd guess.

Tina covered this one

How is it a townie thing to twist away from a direct question? I want to you put your reads down on paper, because only mafia are elusive in their wording, so that they can't be pinned down later.

I already showed you that I'm not afraid to guess who's on the same team. You know why? Cause I'm town and I want the other townies to have my reads.

I didn't like this post before, like it less now looking at it with Tina's case in mind. I just don't like the way she ends the post, just seems to be making too big a show out of how "town" she is. Kinda like a reverse on the buzzword thing: mebbe if you say you're town enough and loud enough, people will believe it.

Plus she pushes the "differentiate your reads" thing, which I already mentioned my aversion to.

Let me clarify what I thought was not townie. I don´t have a problem with your question which I did answer. My answer was that I´m not going to connect people since we haven´t got a coroners report yet. My problem with your question was that you put yourself on the same side as scum. This is the second time I see you do that. (Scum refers to both mafia and warewolfs.)

I... don't understand this. You were the one who insinuated that I was mafia.

Also, Mish do you really believe that me and Tina are on the same team? The mafia team in this game consists of 3 members, and the wolf team of 2, so it must really be an idiotic tactic for two teammates to go after one person right at the start of the game and link themselves to each other so obviously.

It would, but in a game this small, team members have to interact. And isn't it a great defense that it's a really stupid move? "Mafia would never do that" and so on. And yet mafia do really stupid things all the time and hoping to get away with it because it is so stupid.

Her trying to solidify a connection between Tina and Cloud.

Whelp. There's definitely not as much against her as there is against Cloud, but then again she hasn't been in the spotlight nearly as much as Cloud either. I thought about moving my vote to Mish pretty much just for the sake of competing trains, and cause we're not in any danger of a random right now, but Tina, the person who found what I feel is pretty significant, isn't even voting for Mish herself (she's voting for AJ, who I still feel pretty meh about).

So eh, guess I'll just keep my vote where it is for now. But I do plan on keeping a closer eye on Mish from here on out.

I will be gone for most of the midday, but I will share my thoughts on the recent happenings when I'm back.

Sigh. L-1 and still no scum reads from you. Aint no way you're town.

Des, I'll reply to all of that when I'm more awake.

But, to the "case" of Tina's; Tina, I can tell you I'm town until I'm blue in the face, and we'll get nowhere; so I'm not really bothered with trying to do that right now. And anyway, I wasn't worried about defending myself, that's not at all what that post was about. YOU had linked me with AJ and Cloud by inferring that we all three were scum. I wanted you to clarify who you thought was on a team with whom then, if you thought we were all three mafia. Because, even though Des says it's early and we need flips and so on, if you have three scum feelings, you gotta have a theory who's on team with who too. I wanted you to solidify your reads, because you'd said you thought all three of us were anti-town, and since we have a rather special situation going on here with two anti-town team, it's only natural to try and look at who's on a team with who. You are refusing to even theorize, and that makes me uncomfortable.

As for having time until deadline, yes and no. It is the weekend and some people aren't able to get online. I don't think we're in danger of a random with a train at L-1, just pointing out that the weekend is difficult for some people to get online.

Ok putting this in a spoiler to make it a bit easier on everyone's eyes... I don't have the patience to slice it up all nicely.

I ment that I was feeling pretty comfortable with him, having a slight town read, until he started backtracking. So it was a FoS tried to be done cleverly.

I'm highly consideirng moving my vote to Tina... I thought she was voting me, but as Des pointed out, she still has her vote on AJ, after saying several times that she thinks I'm speaking from a scum team perspective. So nudging negative attention on me, without actually voting me... Possibly because the Cloud-lynch was moving steadily and she didn't wanna disrupt that, but laying the groundwork for tomorrows lynch.

Ok, I retract my previous theory about Tina and Cloud being on the same team.

So on reread.

looking at AJ

I don't think the use of the word scum meant anything and I liked his first response.

However in #154  he draws attention to somebody he thinks might be the seer (implied here #175.  I can't think of a good reason to do this (yes he's since changed his mind, but it doesn't change how strange it is to bring it up earlier)

I also don't like his post #180 - seems an excessive reaction.

looking at Cloud

I didn't have a problem with his initial posts - he'd previously posted trying to get the game started, so voting AJ to get the game started seems reasonable, however I don't like his changes in reasoning for the vote.  This post also looks bad #188 especially given that at the time he only had 1 vote on him.  And Des has an excellent point about Cloud disappearing without leaving scum reads.

@Des - I have no idea how Cloud'll flip.  Kaylee & Hallia weren't picked from random, they were the only players posting at the time who weren't commenting on the situation, I found it (the fact they were apparently ignoring the only significant thing to have happened so far) interesting enough to want to know why.  Kaylee's responded to say she was at work and since made some comments, but despite posting again since, Hallia has still avoided the situation.  So far Hallia only seems to have made half a game related post - that one response to Cloud, which seemed more of a policy statement then in relation to the game, to me this is strange.

And I posted a link to the timer in response to AJs question then stated the post count and L-1 (because I'd rather get information from all of Day 1, then not, because somebody hammers early mistakenly or otherwise).

quotes are in spoilers

A trap where you float a weak fos on someone, then continue pressuring that same person just to keep up appearances... yeah that doesn't seem like a trap at all. Which is a big part of why I'm still voting you btw.

I admit that it was a weak trap, but it wasn’t my plan to think about the best things that would test someone’s alignment. I just wanted to get this game started and added a simple reaction test to achieve that goal. I kept pressuring AJ because of the way he reacted to my reaction test, which I found pinging.

Anyways dude you DEF seemed to be trying to divert attention to Pray, you brought up him not focusing on Pray more multiple times.

Yes, I used Pral’s name a lot in my case against AJ but that was because AJ being OK with his vote but not with mine was one of the main things that I found to be pinging about his play.

Well obv no, if you're town then you shouldn't push a lynch that you think is wrong just to keep up appearances. But it can be argued that it would have looked worse to keep your vote on him, so it's still possible that you pulled the 180 because you were concerned about how you would look. The fact that you included the AtE along with it ("I'll prob be lynched for this but oh well") makes me think that this is the case.

Doesn’t the fact that I included some AtE in my post confirm that I knew how it would look if I were to switch my vote? Wouldn’t it have been better if I just continued with my push against AJ? Mish even said that she was starting to believe that I was town, and I think that might have also been the case for a couple more players so it wouldn’t have made sense for me to switch, and yet I did because I thought I was pushing for the wrong lynch.

Yes, preemptive AtE is a thing. And incidentally, there's some more AtE in this post as well, you bemoaning that you're always a day 1 lynch candidate.

I was replying to Mish’s question about why it bothers me when I use an early aggressive strategy. Her question to me would have asked for an answer with some AtE in it.

I will be gone for most of the midday, but I will share my thoughts on the recent happenings when I'm back.

Sigh. L-1 and still no scum reads from you. Aint no way you're town.

My gut is telling me either Mish or Tina are scum, and I’m leaning more towards Mish right now after reading Tina’s case on her. The reason why I'm hesitant to think of Tina as scum is because of the way she followed my vote on AJ without much hesitation. I think it would have been safer for her if she was mafia to let me just get myself lynched and not get involved into it. She also appears to be actively scumhunting and building solid cases on people.

I'm highly consideirng moving my vote to Tina... I thought she was voting me, but as Des pointed out, she still has her vote on AJ, after saying several times that she thinks I'm speaking from a scum team perspective. unvote Vote Tina

You switching your vote to Tina because you believe that she is laying the groundwork for future lynches, while unvoting from me yourself and not explaining why you changed your mind is scummy. Tina isn't voting for me so she is disrupting my lynch already. And even though you now appear to believe that me and Tina aren't on the same team together, we are still both scum right? So why the unvote?

What's funny is that I was about to post something similar I noticed about Des's interaction with Tina but involving myself. Observe:

I agree with you [Verb], too. Which is why I was initially still on Cloud. At this point I feel like they are both sketchy and either one can go in either order.

Setting up lynches much, Yates?

Well. Yes. That's what you do when you have two scum reads. Yet, why make a big show of it? How is my saying I'd lynch in either order any different from this:

I could vote either AJ or Mish.

Once again, he's calling someone out for posting the same as Tina while ignoring Tina.

What's up??

You know, you may be right. After my last read through it's looking more like Tina and Des are on the same team. And that's making me less confident on my Cloud vote. Either that, or he's trying to make it look that way. This is where an ISO feature would be nice.

I'm voting you because you have not mentioned AJ at all for the last day or so, you have only pushed on me, but kept your vote on AJ, even though it is clear he isn't anywhere near getting lynched. You don't seem interested in securing a lynch either; if you did, you'd have moved your vote when Cloud was at L-1. You haven't even bothered to vote me, even though Des has shown an interest in your case against me. So in other words, you claim you find me suspicious, but you don't bother placing a vote on me, or trying to get a train on me. You just nudge. That's why I'm voting you.

Posted

Why couldn´t AJ be lynched? BFG voted him yesterday too. And you are asking me to hammer Cloud a day before deadline without a claim?

Posted

The spotlight has moved completly away from AJ (and you are one of those who's made sure it has, too). If AJ really was your biggest scum read, why haven't you kept pushing him? Why haven't you tried to get others to see what you have? Is it because Cloud, who's also been pushing AJ, is *this* close to a lynch?

And also, exactly why have you chosen AJ to be more scummy than me? You've said that twice I've spoken from a scum team perspective; if you really beleive that, that should be pretty damning evidence, more than anything AJ has done so far.

Deadline is today actually, in fact I don't think there's much time left, I'd have to check how long.
