Desp..you need to re-read that whole interaction cause you've interpreted it wrong. My early thoughts were Leelou and Cloud were scum and Leelou's play came across as distancing from a scum partner.

That's exactly how I read it. It didn't look like distancing at all to me. I think you were trying to link them so that if your teammate (Cloud in this scenario) went down you could set Leelou up. Then that reasoning might have changed and you decided to kill Leelou in the hopes of keeping Cloud alive.

 

 

I could see your viewpoint on the first sentence...but that makes the next sentence completely whacky.  

 

For all your defense of peace, this is the last time he's posted, a few days ago.  For someone all up in arms about people lurking, why aren't you giving him any of this grief?  And Des made a good point right here as well.

I'm not "up in arms" over people lurking. I called you out on what I felt what deliberate lurking to avoid attention. There's a lot of other people that's lurking too, but since I don't have anything else to call them out for right now, they'll have to wait until another day. I'm sure Peace will show up pretty soon.

Reading up, halfway now, looks like I'lll maybe will have time to finish before I have to go. Still got three hours before it's time to catch the bus, but I also gotta eat and shower and make-up and stuff. I'll do my very best though.

 

Found out who was the second person who pinged me D1 (who'd I'd forgotten about again when I wrote my first post, I remembered it was Cloud and someone else, but now who), and it was Peace, for his trying to very hard to connect Ishy/Leelou/Cloud. It seemed to me that one of them must be mafia, and he was trying to make it so that the two townies would go down when the mafia went down. But considering the mafia shot Leelou N1, and it was especially Leelou and Cloud he tried to connect, that theory falls flat, and so I've placed him in the town box as of page 17 at least. Others I have town feels on are Dap, for starting to push on Cloud early and harder that most; although that one is a bit of a double-edged sword; it could be a gambit considering Cloud was Vengeful killer and so probably the best candidate for an early gambit, considering he would take a townie down with him.

Not a strong argument, to be sure, but something I'm weighing in consideration of the current Razen wagon. Obviously, Peace currently voting for Razen means something as well.

Also, how quickly we forget...

TL;DR: So yeah, Peace is actually tied to Cloud pretty tremendously. This makes Cloud a perfect info lynch for this thread. He flips scum, and that makes Peace look worse.

Clear distancing post/bus:

 

To me it looks like a frame up of me. If Cloud is scum and people believed my opinion of early distancing then his team may hope that Leelou flipping town would show my case invalid and therefore make him look less suspicious. If he was worried that he would be lynched before Leelou he would want her dead.

Notice how Cloud FoS's Peace while voting for Razen - who had a couple of people calling him scummy at that point? Points less to Cloud distancing and more to Cloud trying to find a feasible counter wagon.

I said I mostly trust Des' insticts, not always. Wich is why I didn't follow every thing he said.

 

Dap: In overall I have a town feel from him so far, even though he's done some questionable things. I already explained I put that out there about him to see who bit on it, because I know it was something mafia would love to jump on.

 

Hallia: I'm pressing on her because she did a total 180, first agreeing completly with me and then suddenly not. I tried to ask her if she'd read my thoughts on Peace, and how she decided he was probably mafia regardless; she didn't give any reasons, and when I tried to get her to give reasons, she kept talking about Dap.. (Also, when I said I had him as town up to page 17, it was because that was the page I was on in my re-read when I was writing that particular post; that hasn't changed. When it comes to Chuckles, honestly I've just given up on him. I can't be bothered.

 

Razen, most of my case on you is that D1 you did nothing, threw in some votes without even bothering to give an explanation, and then suddenly D2 you start off with a huge case, on someone who flipped vengeful killer. Don't tell me you don't see where my suspicions come from? Your posts makes more sense now though, but I hope you'll start contributing more. Personally I'd like to know your reads and thoughts. You have good instincts and now that you're out in the open I hope you'll actually contribute.

The bold statement might as well be describing yourself... Isn't that just kinda what you did today? Maybe I need to reread, but I don't remember you saying much before the epic casing that everyone was so keen on complimenting. Which is another thing, that felt really weird when re-reading through about how many people were all talking praises about the glorious casing made of rainbows coming from annointed mouth of Mish.

 

While, yes, I can see a Vengeful killer wanting to get lynched as legit and it certainly is possible that someone would pave the way for that, D2 seems pretty early to go that route to me as mafia. You'd want a clearer shot of the best power roles before losing that, because a Doc can't block it as it doesn't fall at night. I don't see them giving that up just for a Vig. 

 

Going back to Occam's Razer... what's more likely?

1. Someone setting up a gambit lynch on teammate vengeful killer on D2 when no power roles have been outed?

2. Mafia using a townie's casing of a legit mafia member to lynch said town?

What's weird about this is that both scum flips in both threads just happened to be vengeful?  Neither of them appeared to TRY to get themselves lynched.  I guess what I'm saying is it will be interesting to see if the first scum flip in the last thread flips vengeful as well.  Another one of those patterns to track.
