Well if you look at it like that, there's not a lot of games out there that is very friendly ;) In monopoly you try to make your friends go bankrupt, in chess you try to kill as many pieces from your opponent as possible, and well let's not even talk about video games! It's a friendly game in the sense that nothing is ment personal, it's all lighthearted fun even though we may all get frustrated at points, lol, and after the game is over everyone is friends.

I can't think that Darthe ever held up any hope of getting us to lynch time when she wasn't here ( with Darthe being town or mafia I think this holds up both ways), so don't see that as a reason to vote him. Voting home does make it look like Vambram is trying to distract from Peace's vote on Darthe.

I've also noticed that Basil's posts are either general chat, defence of Darthe or support of Darthe's vote on Time, which is making me a bit suspicious that he is mafia trying to buddy up to an active townie.

I have a question for you csarmi.... if this isn't your first game, shouldn't you know what to expect from other players?? and if you do, and you get emotional about it, then why don't you have a way to cope with it without making it seem like you are overreacting??

Via... if I feel that Darthe is town, then I have an obligation to try and steer the votes away from him, since town wants to lynch mafia. He made a strange and half-baked case on Time, but this is often a townie tactic to float up something wild solely to see what reactions you get, and then make your reads based on those reactions. Time hadn't yet made the post that led to my vote on her then, so there was no way of knowing that she was suspicious with no read on her. And if I vote Time for totally different reasons than he did, then it doesn't count as support of him. I never supported his case on her, I voted her due to something I noticed myself. I think her post that I mentioned as fence-sitting was her trying to cover all her bases so she can look good no matter how this day plays out.

That actually sounds like Basel in general but he has been working on his scum meta lately so, all I all I will rate this as worth watching out for. Still I currently have a town read there.

 

I don't know how it could be clearer that I wasn't trying to get Time lynched. That said as more and more people choose a side it's beginning to look like she may not be an awful candidate. I think it either means she has a weak scum team or that a good mafia is attempting to neatly divide the game.

 

I know that doesn't skp much but consider this: a strong scum team would never have protected her, instead attacking me. Which is why I have her and peace linked.

 

A really strong one would have supported me and killed her. She flips mafia, I get lynched at Lylo, etc.

 

But a weak one fears they need the person.

 

Eh, it's gotta be one of those three and the teams are pretty well divided as is. Now we just lynch and see who correlates.

Because of how reactive others have been to this theory.  

 

I didn't intend to whatsoever but clear lines have been drawn in the sand.  

 

The WIFOM of it is that you either are mafia and they have all chosen to defend you in some way or you aren't and the mafia spread itself into each group tugging at different angles.

 

The second is a worse position for the town but we wouldn't be able and know without your death.  

 

Thus, I speculate that you're a candidate but I am not voting you.

Darthe..your theory doesn't account for town players on both sides of the issue.  It's possible that a majority of the scum haven't picked a side and are sitting back watching town work this.

 

I'd like to see some definitive statements from everyone.  Stand up and make your thoughts known.  No hiding.
