FYI, I don't like the easy "un-countered doc thinks someone is scummy so since I can't vote the doc I'll vote her suspect" vote. Personally, I thought Ama's case against Kae was pretty valid. Saying "That makes sense" and following along isn't necessarily scummy. Granted, I'm not saying Hoof is entirely free of suspicion, but at this point I'm getting a more actual-scum feel from Red's actions than Hoof's. Hoof just seems careless and lazy, not necessarily bad. I'm willing to go either way depending on how this falls out, but I feel more strongly about Red.[/color]

Fair enough, if you think my vote-changing was jokey and my claim to try and help the game along is BS, and you've actually read my reasons, which I feel make perfect sense, especially since my efforts actually worked believe it or not, then obviously there's nothing more I can say.

I'm not trying to make it into a big debate. That, actually, is one of the reasons I'm voting for you. I told you, you hadn't given any indication that you were actually reading what I was saying.

 

You've been conveniently picking out the parts of my posts that suit your purposes, and ignoring everything else. If I try and call attention to that fact, you suddenly try to make me look like I'm blowing everything out of proportion, to make me out to be the bad guy--you're only convincing me further that my vote's in the right place. I'm not budging unless it's that or random modkill.

It seems like you're subtly saying you're the doc not me, so you can claim doc later to try to get me lynched. If it's just a n00b thing, ok. But I read it, saw it how I saw it, and posted what I thought. FOS retracted for the moment however. Your reaction seems genuine.

I think since you chopped off half of my post, you accidentally took out the "]" at the end of the first color tag. I added it in and that fixed the problem.

 

Since you point it out, I can see how it might have come across that way. It constantly amazes me how much there is that I STILL don't know about mafia, considering I've been playing for a long time, but the idea of breadcrumbing came as a total surprise to me. XD

 

Basically what I was saying is that I didn't like the way Red was so casual about switching votes to Hoof. Not away from you; that's understandable. But to Hoof, with pretty much no explanation and following your lead. It comes across to me as Red being scum, knowing you're the doctor and that Hoof isn't scum, and wanting to look good by following the doctor's lead without question. Alternatively, it (the vote change) could be a distancing ploy between her and Hoof.

 

And then I was saying that the case you made on Hoof ("scummy following other people's reasoning") wasn't that much to go on, honestly, because Ama did make some good points and it could have been laziness on Hoof's part.

 

And then I was saying that Red seems more scummy to me than Hoof, based on what I've seen.

 

So yeah, maybe putting those in a bulleted list or something the first time around might have been a bit clearer. XD

you know, the reason i do not rant against inactivity anymore is because we are all guilty of it. do not play like an angel that never goes inactive- i can recall plenty of times where YOU have been inactive. it sucks with this game that so many people are dropping out and that i will probably be modkilled, but life isnt fair, is it?

It was a knee-jerk reaction that was not actually directed at you Hoof - i apologise.

 

It was more in reaction to having been a first-time mod when a large portion of players drops out. It sucks and makes you wonder why you even bother.

if a lynch is not achieved by then I'm probably going to modkill blackhoof and officially replace song with wayward since he has expressed interest

if you guys achieve a lynch I'll hold off on the modkill
