okay if Perrin does not soon accept that he is Lord,oh god than there is maybe a quarter of book that is not worth of reading

I can't hear it till I get home...PLEASE tell me there is more to it than Perrin. I really did like his character in the early books, but Faile has slowly drained his pesonality to where I could now care less. Wolf king or not.

@Kara: There is also a piece from Galad's pov. Perrin's was boring as usual. I really hope he gets some better things to do soon. I was glad to see what happened to Galad after the prologue :)

i... sadly agree... perrin started out as a VERY interesting character, and has got increasingly boring ever since... theres minor characters with more entertainment value... pivotal, but boring...

I'm really glad for another chapter, but Perrin is sooooooo boring after getting with Faile. A whiner and nothing character wise compared to Rand or Mat. I'm really hoping his character takes a major progression towards kickassness in this book.

This is probably an in popular opinion, but I think too many chapters have been released. I did however buy the prologue as I always do. But still....

This chapter made a few of the Perrin ones in TGS seem superfluous. Had they been left out and this one kept right where it is I think we'd have lost little, and had less of the same stuff people seem to dislike about Perrin. What I like least at this point is the 12+ day wait to read chapter 3 and the rest :) Thanks for the early release whomever is responsible :)

Very good content about Perrin, what happened to queen Morgase ?, i believe that she is with the rebel Shaido, do you agree. I agree with Sid,to much temptation to view. Very eager to know the outcome, as i have pre ordered on Amazon. About Apples first, Rand has a new power in his hands, the reason he made the apples appear.

I wasn't a fan of audio myself but I stuck with the prologue when I got it and found myself getting into it. I need to wait till I get home from work before I can download this but hey, at least it's free this time. Another small fix till I get my pre ordered hardback in my hands :)

This thing with Galad released so quickly is probably Brandons idea at the first place. If it was the writing of the late Mr. Jordan we would have waited at least half of the book to see him freed. No disrespect for the man who created this amazing world, but he sometimes could drag the plot much longer than this.

Why has Perrin become so boring? I used to love his character, but now not so much. It says a lot about how far his character has fallen because I liked Galad's portion of the chapter WAYbetter. Why Perrin, why?

It's all Faile's fault. When he got married he became much more boring:it's the way things are.You are ta'veren then suddenly you get married and you become so borring that even the Dark One doesn't want to have anything with you :DD

So I was at my local book store yesterday to make sure they'd have ToM when it comes out next week (I live in a small town & you never know what they'll have or not...) and they tell me that THEY ALREADY HAVE IT!! I might not have Mat's luck, but I'm thinking of trying so sneak in to snag a copy (I'd pay for it, of course!!)
