Tor.com Unveils New Content for Wednesdays

Starting today, Tor.com will be posting exciting new tidbits for fans to enjoy on Wednesdays.

The first type of content to which they will be treating us involves none other than Brandon Sanderson. Sanderson will be posting informal "musings" on every Wheel of Time book. You can read his first entry, which is on The Eye of the World, here. The plan is to have Sanderson post one of these every other week, but given his understandably busy schedule, this plan is not set in stone.

During the weeks between the "musings," Tor.com will post eBook art wallpaper for each of the Wheel of Time books. They will feature The Eye of the World next Wednesday.

Excellent!  Keep it up Tor!!  As much marketing as possible please.  Reading all the comments about how fans first encountered WoT today makes me so nostalgic.  I'm gonna miss the hype so much after it's over.

The link isn't invalid; it's the same link you gave.  Tor was simply slower to put this up on their site than they said they would be, so it went live 15 minutes after our announcement went up instead of 5 minutes before like it was supposed to.

That will rather cool to have wallpapers for each of the eBooks. Leading up to aMoL.

Woo whoo! They liked my suggestion! I don't know if it is true or not, but I'd asked them to give us wallpapers of the e-books so I'm taking credit for them doing it.

Hi guys. Mabye there will be some interesting tidbits revealed from BS about the TWOT books. There was something I was curious about though. I was checking out the newsletter on BS website a little while ago and they mentioned something about how the drafts with the percentage bars like AMOL second draft 40% is almost the same thing as the revisions that BS wants to do for AMOL. So I have two questions: My first one is is this true that the drafts and revisions are basically the same thing? And secondly does anybody know many revisions he is gonna do? I thought I heard something a while back about there being mabye six revisons but I could be wrong. Any feedback at all would be appreciated! Thanks for the news dragonmount!
