Orbit Books, the publisher for the The Wheel of Time books in the United Kingdom and other territories, has launched an exciting marketing campaign to encourage people to re-engage in the series before A Memory of Light is released next year.
The campaign, called "Turn the Wheel of Time", features a fun video, as well as a free give-away tote-bag to the first 500 people who "Like" their Facebook page. (Only open to residents who live in countries where Orbit publishes their books. Sorry, Americans!) Here's the video:
No release date for A Memory of Light has been announced or confirmed. The video above says it will be out in November, 2012, but that is just speculation on Orbit's part. At this time, expect the book to be released anywhere from mid to late 2012.

I've updated the article to include some information about the release date. No release date has been announced or confirmed. Orbit is guessing based on the info they have. Expect mid to late 2012 though. "Early 2012" is too soon. Brandon isn't even done writing it, and the editing process will take a while.
according to Sanderson he said that the book would come about between March (unlikely) and November. Since March is the unlikely date, Orbit is just putting the latest date out there which is there safest bet at the moment. Nothing to be worried about yet, that date could definately change by early 2012.
I just had a feeling that the Wheel of Time song by Blind Guardian was going to be used in some capacity. Score one for the traveling bards!
Wow I love the video and the music by Blind Guardian...just a shame that I wasn't one of the 500 first likes. Nonetheless, I have definitely started my reread and no matter when aMoL comes out in 2012, I am looking forward to the year.
Write the book, stop stalling with gimmicks and magic cards. I try not to be a hater, in fact I've already re-written this message 5 times as I don't want to be the only person on this thread with something negative to say. I just can't help being frustrated after having the release date go from November 2011, to March 2012 now November of 2012! Stop taking us for granted. We, the People of the Dragon, have spoken. Get focused.
@lord of the morning, irony about humanity, is that its those small gimmicks(that we all have by the way) that keep us sane enough to get work done :) and id rather have the book pushed back another year, then be rushed to be finished...
Brandon has said he hopes to finish his first draft sometime next month, and from his latest progress it looks like he's on track. I'd expect that there will then be 9-12 months for editing and production.
Realistic release date at this point is somewhere between June and October. It won't come out any earlier for sure, but Brandon has mentioned before that Team Jordan might want to take extra time on this book for editing so it could even be a November release.
I hope they take their time and make it extra awesome. What's a few months after so many years?

It will definitely be November 2012 as most WoT books have come out then for sales reasons.
