Time sheet thread

Alright, since Barm and/or Verb deleted the old forum, I've lost the old time sheet thread. Go ahead and bill for your max hours for last week, unless you decide to be honest for once and all bill for you actually worked.

As always, please post in this thread when you log into DM for the first time that day and again just before you leave the site. Be sure to post your local time, the time zone you are and the weather conditions. No spam, please. It takes me long enough as it is to fill out the paperwork as it is.

And remember, don't tell ANYONE that the staff gets paid to work on DM. There would be a huge outcry if anyone learned about this. This house of cards only works if everyone else is convinced we are long suffering and much abused volunteers. Thanks.

Hugo worthy books/ stories?

The Hugo award nomination period is starting up soon and I must admit that I've not read many new books in 2011. The new ones I did read, are not ones that I'd consider nominating (though I did enjoy them). Anyone have any suggestions for something I should read before I decide what to nominate?

I've not been to a BayCon personally, and I'm not planning to attend this one (I'm already committed to another con that weekend), but Brandon is a Guest of Honor, so you can bet there will be something WoT related happening.
