Darthe?

What did you take away from that post of mine about NB?

Kinda vague out of context isn't this?
You ignored the original question. Which was in context.

One of my many talents but please, do turn this on me. I've got a pretty open evening post taco

Darthe agreeing with me is freaking me out...

Darthe I thought you wanted to talk???

Yeah, talk to me about that accusatory ass post

???

I answered already if its the Eldrick post you quoted

Posted

How does that even make sense to you?

Let's assume for a sec that we do flip mafia traitor. We won't, but work with me here. See where your logic flawed.

We know from sign up that if the traitor isn't recruited (and therefore stays traitor) the Mafia won't know who the traitor is.

So, if we did flip traitor, how on earth would that incriminate random?

Yea. He isn't doing that.

I'm cool with pressure there too.

This was an interesting exchange. Zander pressure-votes Shad, Eldrick jumps on it in no time (not Sock, as Sooh was surprised by the exchange). Then Zander immediately jumps on Sock.It was surprising.

I'll say this though, which could be WIFOM, but makes sense in my head - If we think that Sock is scum, then they would both be on 2 QTs. I don't think this mix-up of Eldrick jumping the vote gun on Shad and then Sooh going "wait, what?" happens if they've got two QT boards to check. One, perhaps, but if they're working with mafia as well as each other, that seems like a GIANT stretch for experienced players.

Now, with the setup of this game, they could still be mafia traitor and make the above mistake without having a second QT, but given Sooh's play without Eldricks, I'd be leaning townie. Eldrick alone I'd have a slight scum read on primarily for the whole exchange quoted directly above. I think in their own accidental way they've bought themselves a pass from me for now. Do with that what you will, all

What even is this? You're making paragraphs of conjecture.

Isn't that literally the game we're playing? I've seen people base entire lynches and link players together over less than what happened with Eldrick / Sooh on that Shad vote. I'm not saying they ARE town, but it seems to me that anyone experienced who had multiple places to check their work before posting wouldn't have made that mistake, or would at least be far less likely to. So yes, it's conjecture. It's enough for me to give them a pass for now and try to work on a few others. I'm far more concerned about the low-posters Zander mentioned previously.

鲍勃不是我的名字, or NotBob -

This initial series of posts are so void of thought process I don't quite know what to make of them.

Vote Manbat.

Could also vote Eldrick.

Nyce looks naughty. So yeah.

Hey Notbob

[unvote] Summoning a success!

Why would you vote me?

I like to vote scum.

unvote

vote Eldrick

You're a perpetually tough read. Can you explain your votes a bit?

Not inclined at the moment. Basically, I like to vote scum and Manbat and Eldrick are at the top of my list.

Who's in your wallet?

The only thing I'm left with is finding the motivation to post these posts.

As a townie, I think this isn't very constructive type posts, except for gauging reactions I suppose.

As a scumbag, I don't see the need to do so. It's D1, and the odds are significantly greater we lynch a townie than a scum to begin with, and leaving open votes without attempting to explain, not even when prompted, is risky behavior for a scum. Remember, it's far worse for the scum team to lose a member early than for town.

As a traitor I also don't see the need to point quite so clear signs towards yourself, that is assuming there's still a traitor in the game.

Yay Cass!

[v]Cass

50% chance of scum :D

Another reason. Change of subject.

This feels almost like taunting.

I know scum when read it.

You clearly don't. What have I said that made you think that?

I want your reasoning known so if you instigate my mislynch, you can be held accountable for your vote.

Trust me, I'm held accountable. Do you regularly get this defensive over one vote?
Suggests to me that this was a reaction test.

@ Eldrick I think I showed up from catch-up with some confirmation bias but would still have you in my top towns independently.

The constant thread presence is alluring vs the weirdness is null.

If we lynch Eldrick we lynch scum. FOS for trying to derail this train. You will be held accountable once he flips.
NotBob is probably just a townie who's having some fun this game.

Look at the time stamps:

I just saw Dream Theater and it was amazing. Im not reading 35 pages tonight, maybe ever. Any one wanna catch ne up?

looks like eldrick and cass' slot at this point.

I wanna get Sooh's input before I put a serious vote down, but am leaning Notbob.

Why specifically Sooh/NotBob?

Tell me to go ISO if you're jack of my tunnel-vision already and it's already in thread, this is just easier for me atp :p

Has NotBob been scummy or just quiet/absent?

Neither. maybe you should just go back and read...or take the easy path and join me on Eldrick...together we can rid this thread of scum.
First scums are Cass and us, then petitioning Cass to vote for us.

To answer Darthe, here's my current-game reasons for leaning town on Dice:

oh no i didnt screw up thought id quoted monstr too

@monstr dont get lost in ATE bro stay with us.

re monstrs core he asked people he has meta with is how i looked at it and whose responses he was happy with. It is a common thing to ask opinions of people you are trusting or who are on the same wavelength as you.

He gave a clear, concise defense of someone I was beginning to FOS. He didn't jump onto a train, he provided information I had asked for and needed to make a decision, and that just feels town at this point in the game. HIs comment and subsequent dealings with Zander:

@monstr Nyce is Town. Simple.

Notice tho that I voted Zander and he hasnt said a WORD about it despite replying to things posted after it.

Combined with Zander's OMGUS vote on me after my first reads list makes me wonder if my town lean on Dice following this exchange didn't ruffle his feathers. Feeling a bit more confident on my Zander read too.

For Sooh, most of her posts were before and at page 21, and looked like this:

@Sooh

& mustard has no calories. It sells itself. Delicious and great for the waistline. It cant be.

mmmm more mustard for me plz
I can't base a read off that, so I went on what I had with the other head of the hydra.

For Calder, his activity ceases around the same time. Most of it is regarding sandwiches and whatnot, but that's how he started last game as well. his few game related posts didn't give me huge vibes either way, but it's an early D1 read.

What troubles me is both Zander AND Darthe's snap votes on me. Sure Darthe asked questions, and him claiming he won't read is both false and perfectly in line with his play, but Zander literally said he just did it as OMGUS, which seems a bad reason when responding to an entire reads list. Zander also doesn't seem the type to just vote when town and scum hunting, he's well-spoken enough to create a case or at least an FOS

Vote Zander

Good vote.

CFD on Zander anyone?

And now Zander.

This sort of erratic behavior is generally not something I associate with scums. They tend to be at least attempting to make logical arguments and show their " thought process" while NotBob is flat out refusing to show what he's doing or thinking. I believe, incredibly enough, that NotBob is town.

That's quite a big post to say "we aren't on the same team"

Here's my post, Darthe

Oh this one! So being real I think it's over analyzed some for this early game. To cut to the meat of your point though I dont think its a bad d1 read and I think that it shows at least critical thinking, which is a point in your slots favor, but its not overcoming eldrick for me and I also think that the idea that wolves arent erratic is one that notbob would love you to keep if he were wolfing so... Theres that.

All that said, I got the same conclusion you did so this is maybe just seal on my part to find fault in it.

Yeah, except you haven't Zander. You've mentioned you think I'm on a scum team with Sock and Dice. As Eldrick just pointed out, that wouldn't make sense if Sock flips mafia traitor, a role you haven't mentioned once in this game unless I'm mistaken.

Yes I am, and you know what? I'm getting pretty irritated with you constantly accusing people of that. I have read your posts, I have given you the benefit of the doubt after FOSing you, and whenever I ask you to respond to / prove that you already have responded to anything that comes up, you ask if I'm reading your posts. You are either definitely mafia, or playing a terrible town game right now. Forget the benefit of the doubt, I'm tired of trying to get you to answer a question simply instead of going into some snarky defense of something i clearly haven't seen because IT DOESN'T EXIST. If you can't work with town to try and scum hunt or at least answer questions like a civilized adult / player, then you're really not helping town either way.

Don't really know the context of the above quote yet but dove in where I left off with your reads list and

Zander: Last game as IC he was twice as belligerent as he's been so far with his scumhunting. There's not a whole lot of activity in comparison, but he's not flouting himself as the town champion he was early last game. I don't feel great about this so far. Slight scum lean

Crap, that's right, have to account for Dice being a hydra with Nyn...

<--- is sufficiently intimidated

So Dice, unlike last game, are you mafia this time?

Saving this for later.

In case it's trying to dissolve the fact he already knows they're a hydra cuz they're both on his team.

Do you have a read on Random?

This statement leads me to believe you may.

Nope. Just saving for future comparison.

It's something that can later be seen as distancing should one of them flip scum.

If this was anybody besides you Id be very suspicious of this.

Seeing that its you Im mildly suspicious of it.

Would you care to explain why this person's statement is different to you than from someone else?

Meta, Eldrick is spammy and erratic as Town.

He says what pops in his head.

So tho the statement and response ping, it pings me less based off of having played with him before.

Zander. What about the post is suspicious to you?

Youre putting a connection together to look at a post if Scum makes me think you may have a read or poss TMI.

Im saying making a poss connection 5 pages in based on primarily joke posts is pinging.

Which Eldrick;s response there also implies IMO that he thinks one may be Scum or it was a poss TMI slip.

When I asked he said he didnt have a read which I thought was suspicious hence why I mentioned it.

Yes, LOTS has happened with Zander and I since that :)

@ Zander nice case, except that it basically proves that, while you did try to link us, you still absolutely never mentioned the potential mafia traitor role. Which is the entire issue here: if Sock flipped traitor, you said I'd be dead. Except that, if they're traitor, even if I was scum I'd have no idea. So, your logic is bad, and you should feel bad.

Regardless, I'm NOT scum, I have no confirmation if Sock is a traitor or scum or town yet, like yourself, but your statements are really looking like false-logic to construct a case from nothing. Thanks for doing the leg-work to back up what I said.
