Depends?

On?
Thank goodness makes it so much easier to clean up the mess when you poop on yourself....

Back to seriousness...

Bfg I didn't address Cory/darthe because darthe will always seem wolf to me because of the way he plays (belligerent, "all-knowing", uncompromising) and Cory will always appear town because of the way he gets so invested in the game. I'm horrible at reading both so I will comment very little on either, especially early unless they do something crazy.

I really dont get where that impression comes from. If anything I think the opposite rings more true. Im invested as hell and I am pretty clear on how often I think im wrong.

Why are cory and I being paired so often btw?

From playing with you multiple games. And that might be true in your mind. But in my mind my thoughts are my thoughts, and that's how I read you. *shrugs*

Good morning! I'm about to do a reread and puy together a reads list. For now I just wanted to mention that I really like this analysis:

Wolf cory doesn't die n1 and doesn't lynch his teammates. Town cory feels townie and may not lunch wolves d1, probably dies n1, and if he doesn't, he goes on to lynch a wolf d2. I thought my comments were fairly self explanatory. Cory doesn't really matter, we're never going to lynch him d1 even if there was a hint he was a wolf so we as might as well not waste time discussing his behavior when he's so self solving.

Not really what I meant, but fair enough.

In my head I have you as a sense speaker 'peacekeeper' (although it's not been needed yet so probably isn't important)

Sneaking in a quick catchup break from editing this report...don't tell anyone >.>

The answer to all of this is I do not know

So you have no thoughts, guesses, hypotheses based on your interactions so far?

What stuck out to me the most was the reactions to your OP. Kat said it seemed wolfy (which I'd actually like her to elaborate on). Laine said something about you making a big deal about it, which eh. And Darthe said it seemed pre-written... which is a bit of a head scratcher to me. But then most of the things he says are.

I just found it generally funny. I don't think it says much irt your alignment.

Kat was joking 100% I thought it was completely not serious in all actuality and my "wolfy" comment kept with that theme

k, fair enough.

And I am now caught up. @cory the only thing that has stood out to me is bfg's play... Everyone says that it looks good but please everyone remember she has a pretty well developed scum game and can seem very town early on. Nyn seems slightly reserved but she had already stated that she wasn't going to be as active as normal(which corrected to Norma, not sure who she is) this game before we even started.

We seem to have quite a few people that haven't checked in yet.

She is kinda the Clov female version, for me, in a sense. But if I recall she kinda struggles with thread presence as scum. So if the level of involvement drops then I'll definitely take note.

What's striking you as reserved irt me?

You seem too....... Nice?? Idk... Or maybe a bit more reserved. But I'm not sure I've read all the thread. I need to reread tomorrow when I get on a PC and can tell what pages I'm on better.

I thought you said you were caught up.

From what I've been told (including BFG herself), BFG's scum game is pretty clearly distinguished from her town game.

Are you saying that's not the case?

I'm saying she's profecient at faking this early in the game lol I don't think anything she's done is indicative of her role by itself.

Okay, that's a bit clearer. Thanks.

My mafia game isn't quite as obvious/bad to be a simple case of 'if I'm posting...'

Good to know :P

(for the record, my current read on you has nothing to do with your posting rate - but I've never had to read you in a game yet, so I guess this is my first test!)

Bfg do you usually get serious so fast?

Haven't you played with her before? Can't you answer this question?

Because you two were beating your chests at each other quite early in the game?

Anyway, you never did answer my question about why you would ask if there can be a no lynch? That was a serious question that requires a serious answer!

It sounds negative. If you expect to progress then you'll have to move past it and if you don't care to then I don't see a reason to work with you in games. Kind of a bind you're putting me in here where I'm damned regardless.

You're strange. No, I'm not at a place to speculate" on interactions yet, even if I could answer I wouldn't want to speak for someone else, and beating our chests? I didn't realize that. As for your serious question, I was curious. It is my nature.

Alanna gets serious early as town, but I'm pretty sure she did as mafia in her PerC game, so not sure that by itself means much

I don't recall her having 'difficulty' with the joke phase of the game but she does relax a little later on this game

Alanna, can you expand on your 'if Cory carries on as he is and lynchee a wolf you'll lock him in as town' thought?

Idk, it's just something I've noticed as a scum sign recently, but of course the individual person's meta comes into play. I just never felt I had a good grasp on Alanna, and I feel like I'm scum reading her every game, so idk. It just stood out to me, especially with the "What does my being serious early tell you about my alignment" to Ironeyes. (Too lazy to look up actual quote)

I have one decent reason to think Kat could be town, but I need to check it against her mafia games :p

I'd love to hear when you've checked.

Bold: I do hope you point out what you see, because even though you might not be able to reach conclusions on them it might help the rest of us some.

omg I'm dead in the other game! Now I can be all in here. Catching up.

Save me from this growing sense of malaise?

Save you from yourself? That's a tall order

Btw, I get that people see Darthe as stubborn in games, but that's kind of the only way to get people to listen. Sometimes it can get a bit personal, but for the overwhelmingly most part I enjoy playing with Darthe. There. I said it.

From my experience with her in a game where I was mentoring a noob on PerC, I'd say she's actually more toned down right now in comparison lol

I get that a lot. It's kind of my thing ;)

Do you think I'm any more strange than the other two times that you played with me?

And you may have missed this before, but I also asked you about your question to BFG about her getting serious "this early" in a game.

Because to me, BFG didn't really start getting serious that early. I had to read through almost 10 pages of fluff before getting to the part where BFG and Cory were trying to make a push for content.

So there's actually two parts to my question: a) having played with BFG before, do you not expect her to get serious this early? b) do you still think it's early?

You're not damned.. *shrugs* I know that's the way I read you and I will take that into perspective when reading you and not put much weight in my own thoughts of you. That wasn't saying I'm going to vote you regardless, it means I probably won't comment a lot on you unless you do something out of the ordinary because I'm horrible at reading you and will second guess myself constantly about if you're REALLY wolfy or if I'm just reading what you say as wolfy because of how I perceive your tone (which I understand may not be accurate). Most likely I will factor in what everyone else says of you and make an opinion based on that, especially if I can find someone that I'm fairly sure is town. Cory is a similar person because he always seems town to me which  makes me second guess everything about him.

And @Liz I am caught up but a good bit I read on my phone and given thechance I will go back and re-read on my PC.

Liz, are you the type of person to comment on everything (aka Zander 2.0)?

Do you think that's what I'm doing? I don't think that's what I'm doing.

Pretty sure I've only commented on a few things. I'm collecting observations. I'll comment on the observations once I have answers and I've sorted through them.

What about my posting makes you think that I'm commenting on everything?
