If you're referring to my vote on Tiinker I just read his latest progression. It doesn't look great. Could be like you say that he's just a wolfy looking townie, and I know I have been part of lynches of him in the past where he has been, but consider it a push to come in and make some reads with basis in the thread.

Hi. Who's scum and why?

Scum:

 

Zander - Not too much scum experience with him. But, one game stands out as it was a scum sweep. I didnt really suspect him until the end when his final vote explanation felt like his "early feeling" posts were backed into. Like if you submitted a paper and then had to fudge outline notes and a rough draft to hand into the professor that you never originally did. I have that same feeling now. That his feelings are arbitrary and not hunting. Just willing to back into something that will get a lynch through.

 

Calder - Unhelpful. Not particularly insightful. Inflated sense of self. Always scum.

 

 

I thought Zander's mostly been just joking around. Or maybe I don't know how to read posts that say "lolololololol"

its kinda a running argument at this point. I had a go at him for it last game. First game he was SUPER active every day. was an IC.

 

last game he wasnt.

 

this game not only is he not hes sitting there saying "im not active d1 i dont like d1" etc   if ure here  instead of whinging get in and work. im sick to death of people signing up for games and not posting d1  or for like 5 rl days  so im getting frustrated about it but the whinging just does it for me.  if you can whinge you can play. thats what you signed up for so just do it!

 

im also wary that at some point hes gonna use this i donnt like D1 crud and its gonna bite town.

Your DEF playing different then last game

 

I feel youre playing somewhat differently from Disney as well.

 

So if I feel youre playing differently then both games you were Town in, my suss should be justified somewhat unless youre disputing the facts.

 

Then we can discuss.

I get the difference.

I'm not disputing the fact that I'm playing differently from both of those earlier games. I play my role in the way I see it most optimally.

 

That being said, Disney was highly unusual for me in the way that the IC role was set up. I was not revealed at start, rather I was granted the ability to reveal at any point during the game by simply PMing a mod. This had 2 effects on my play.

Effect #1: I was forced (by responsibility to my team) to milk my role for as much as it was worth, which was a lot. I had to play very recklessly whilst balancing that with the fact that it was a majority game. Imagine if I had let myself get lynched because I wasn't paying enough attention.

 

Effect #2: I was effectively burnt out. Disney forced me to play extremely actively and always be aware of the vote count. Can I be slightly scummier without getting another vote? Who's currently not voting for me? Is it a tipping point for them if I make another outrageous claim/case? Combine this with actually trying to make outrageous claims/cases that lead somewhere and you've got someone who works very hard for a very long time without respite.

 

 

Now with regards to my disdain of D1.

I am not used to nor do I like long phases, it tends to be too much time and too little content. People fill the void with fluff and it gets harder to get to what's good. Nowhere is this more true than on D1.

Granted, D1 is the day of the meta-read and tone-reading, but seeing as I have very little of that with any of you it's hard for me to get invested. I certainly read most of what's being said, but my contribution would likely be limited in its scope and even moreso in its accuracy.

well then last game imo you played it completely wrong. Your job was to draw the nk. To do that you shouldve have played Towny as. instead u were barely there d1 and were scummy when you were. scums dont shoot potential mislynches    

 

if you sign up for a game then guess what?? ure gonna have to play D1. its part of the game. A very important part actually cause thats when people are settling in and are most likely to let something slip that can be seen later.

I think Dice is having the same trouble I have sometimes where I try to preview a post and the quote seeminly disappears. I always have to preview again when that happens and usually it fixes itself.

Every single point you take up here I have answered before you made them. I can do it again though, for your convenience.

 

Concern: "You signed up for the game, now play to the level of my satisfaction"

Answer: No. I play the game as I see fit. It depends almost entirely on the role that I am given to see how I play. In that regard I'm a very easy read.

 

Concern: "You don't play the exact same way you did in the previous two games"

Answer: Well spotted, I don't. In Disney my role demanded that I was extremely active and at times intentionally scummy, at times lock town read. In Taron Gaidon I had to be town read D1 and scum read D2 without dying. I played to the role I was given, just like I'm doing every game.

 

Concern: "You don't do my work for me"

Answer: Tough luck, I'm not gonna.

 

Concern: "If we accept that you post less on D1 then at some point you're gonna be scum so that gives you a free pass which I won't give you"

Answer 1: Fair concern. I've answered this in Taron Gaidon however. I find intentional lurking by scum to be despicable and therefore I wouldn't do it. Trust me or not, that's the reason.

Answer 2: If you policy lynch me on D1 every game then you will sacrifice a townie the majority of the time, in my specific case all the time. This is poor play and you shouldn't do it.

I think the Zander:Belieber argument is either v/v or v/w OR w/v but can't tell which. Believer handled himself really well in it so I'm inclined to believe he is town atm and definitely would not lynch him today based on that convo.

 

We'll see how things develop though.

Kinda exactly how I feel about that argument. Like I said before, Believer's start wasn't too great with his all too easy reads, but what Zander jumped on him for was weird, and Believer did have good responses which seemed sincere.

 

 

Sooh please make me town read you for sure. I want to redo Haunted Mansion but so far I'm not able to.

I don't know how to do that on command. You're just going to have to read my posts and hopefully that'll ease your worry.

Because I know I do. But I want to believe she is town and not only for that post.

What I remember from her scum game were several long multiquote posts in a row that she had prepared and then posted just one by one. If she did post posts like that before I've forgotten.

and the "id never do that " argument means absolutely nothing as has been proved time and again. 

 

You wanna be town read? they play the damned game EVERY day and earn it. Show us ure town. So far in 3 games im yet to see anything other then ure PR claims to have ever town read you off. So ure either an extremely scummy town player or ure doing something wrong
