I really started liking the challenge of being town, Zander.

I'm not sure, Darthe.

I still don't understand why or how this changes anything ito my alignment in this game. Does it change your meta of me?

What am I watching?

AIDS

I dont know but I hate it.

AIDS obv not Hep C.

Hep C is obv one of the good guys.

Isnt that the sort of soft defense anyone says about anyone? It's basically saying the person doesnt feel comfortable enough to commit which makes a lot of sense this early.

Is this a real point or an attempt to get conversation going?

Everything I say is an attempt to get a conversation going

It often fails

You once said that I tend to make irrelevant nonsense posts in the game

They are not irrelevant

They are not nonsense

Every one of them has purpose in establishing for myself my own history of my reads, what and why I'm thinking something, and how I approached that conclusion

They also serve the dual purpose of often getting people to ask me questions about my read, whether through pure inquisitive means or an attempt to get me to make a mistake and subsequently vote me. I am good at telling the difference between the two.

I believe in this because this is how i've played this game before and still sometimes do.

Besie, on a scale of 1-10 how much do you prefer wolfing over being town

Excuse me if my assumption that you enjoy wolfing more than being town is incorrect

1 being "they're about the same" and 10 being "I vastly prefer wolfing"

Eh... 6,5

I'm lurking (can't be here yet) but I'd thought I'd respond to this

No, I mean the content of the post. I'm usually irked by posts where people say they are too addicted to the game or are enjoying it without really providing any other content or taking the game forward.

Don't take this in an offensive way. I've seen people do these genuinely and I've almost mislynched (probably have fully mislynched them too) even though it's just part of their personality.

But it's also a type of post I have trouble reading if it's sincere or fake.

Yes. Makes sense. I've gotten used to the term "fluff" for the type of posts that help absolutely nothing.

In this specific case, I don't think it's alignment indicative (of myself?).

To me it's kinda dependent on what the person's preferred alignment is. If it's someone who generally like to be a townie more than a scum, then perhaps it's a good thing, especially if followed up by high post count and a lot of real time interaction which arguably is the hardest for a lot of wolves.

In Besie's case I don't think there's much of a difference in how much she prefers being either alignment. I think she enjoys the game a lot as both town and scum. I do seem to recall in her early games that her posts, especially the longer ones, were kind of stilted and constructed and read a bit awkward. I can't say I've really seen that this game, but I think she has only had real time interaction this game so far, so I'm not sure I can draw any conclusions from it.

This is true. I played all my previous games predominantly on my phone and I often quoted and responded to completely different topics in the same post. I'm certain it will appear again - either in this game or some next ones.

Besie legit likes Wolfing more then Towning!!!!

Why is this even something to consider????

True, I do remember that my previous town game sucked, even when I don't remember anything else. You're wrong though. I started to really enjoy being town (in the sense of reading along with an unspoilered qt - thanks BFG) - especially when some of my thoughts turned out to be correct.

Sooh talk to me about this because Besie ive never heard you talk about liking Town and id say weve prolly talked about this a fair bit.

Not sure what you're looking for Z??

I believe she was very active in the QT for BFG's last game, so I assume that's what she's talking about? Why are you asking me to talk about it?

Cause the Wolf Troll Princess is talking about liking to Town and its legit sketching me out.

Is this only obv to me?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I don't understand why in the number of posts and number of things she has said this game it's the stuff that didn't happen this game that is the most wolfy to you.

I know, but you're getting caught up in these weird arguments over things that seem so insignificant that I just don't know what to make of it.

Reminds me a little of #Zandertunnel, but it's not quite that intense yet.

It's okay. Fwiw, I used to love wolf about 100 times more than to town. That is also because I barely town'ed, and the one time I did I was mislynched. The only reason this has changed is because I followed along to some and I feel like I understand why it's fun to be town - and I was excited to rand it this time.

Zander knows how much I love to wolf, so I completely understand his point of view atm. As far as I know, you haven't based your read of me off of whether I sound "excited" or not, right? I know that was in my previous meta. Maybe just adapt my meta a bit?

*grumbles*

Did Besie do these kinds of posts in her town game because I'm usually irked by posts like these?

I think this is the first game I'm doing these posts? I didn't have assignments in the previous ones, I don't think.

But let's rather wait for people with better memories to tell you.

Exactly why it's a post that usually irks me. And it's also why I was asking if she makes posts like it as town to see if it's just part of her personality or just a wolf-thing.

She's had five games out of which in four she was scum. And you're confident in your meta read on her?

But fair enough if this is how she posts as either alignment, I'm just going to treat it as non-alignment indicative.

Seems like a contradiction to recognize it as irrelevant and yet wanna figure out what it means or to have mislynched over it

Far from confident. Like I've said before, I don't have the best memory.

I'm not going to use that as alignment indicative at least. Mostly because the conclusion I had after thinking it through was that for Besie it would probably be null, or maybe even a little scummy, which is what I think of her already so it doesn't change anything.

Not really. I've seen scum just skating along by posting fluff like that in hopes to look like they are doing something. Or telling the threat that they just aren't here.

But that does not matter.
