It's a bit weird, yeah. I feel like he had some odd, almost opportunistic posts yesterday, jumping at Besie and then Believer for little things that to me seemed insignificant.

That was my original point on him. His reasoning for thinking people were scum felt contrived. Like he saw the post and thought it was good enough to base a fake read off of. I dont think it was real Zander hunting.

Im just wondering if youre referring to my Besie/Believer suss at the time.

I am a Meta Player.

 

Besie made a commented that is the exact opposite of her Meta and started posting early reads. Both things werent what I come to expect from here.

 

I listened to her explanation and unlike Calder WAITED for more content.  Commented on it and evaluated it and deemed it worthy

 

Believer also started out playing differently then the Town!Believer Meta I had on him.  This is SOMETHING HE ADMITTED to himself ITT.

 

He explained he was playing different based on how he plays different roles.  That made legit sense to me.  I listened watched how he progressed and readjusted my read when I felt it was necessary.

 

So Meta player making Meta reads wasnt hunting?

 

Based off of what youre saying, would you still say Im not hunting Calder?

And by "us" I meant the town players. By "scum" I meant my cohesive crime syndicate. Key word being "my." I am its leader. A great one, on the local scene anyway. But, I have national, no...strike that; international ambitions.

 

The kind of ambitions that draws attention. Lots of eyes on me. I am looking to impress.

 

 

The above post with the song fall in line with his other posts like :Throw Zander" off the plank type posts.

 

When you look at all them and then read the bold its like hes setting it up that if i get mislynced and when I flip Town he can look back and try to say oh well Scum!Calder would never approach I mislynch like that because it would put me in the limelight and draw too much attention to me type stuff.

From a standard player, sure. That is a conservative way to respond as eithet alignment. But, ask yourself what town Zander does 90% of the time. He comes back hard at that person. Showers them in posts. Often bumps them to the top of his suspect list and maybe votes them. Yet, he goes with the shrug off.

 

Not town Zander. Not in this game.

Dude as Ive stated Im in 2 games at once.

 

And as I stated i was 15 pages behind and out of this games thread state for like the better part of an RL day.

 

Yeah my thread awareness prolly not normal for me but it is now and Im asking you questions and commenting on other stuff and you just ignore it and shrug/play it off.

 

The rl day i kinda missed was DL.

 

Go look at that game day and see how much I posted.  Also the night before and leading into the early hours of the DL day in my other game.  My last post here was at like roughly 5 am.

 

Ive been working my ass off doing both these games.

 

Just about NOBODY puts the amount of time, effort. work and vigilance into games like I do.

 

This is not an ego comment or trying to brag.  Its just the truth.

I poked at Tiink a bunch too, but he handled it well. Plus I like that Zander defended him. Unlikely to be his teammate if Zander is indeed a wolf.

 

A wolf flip basically clears Tiink considering Zander's open defense.

 

Oh look yet another associative read on TInk along with Sooh abd Besie purely based on Calder being certain Im Scum.

 

 

If zander is a villager I'm having a hard time ranking which of calder/darthe/Sooh I would think is most likely to be a wolf trying to lynch him

 

Calder I've never seen as a wolf go out of his way to try to get some random villager lynched but I think I've only seen a few of his games.

 

Darthe has a few posts that seem like they could be pocketing me but he also has like one of the highest thread presences in the game

 

Sooh has very villagery tone but voted zander in a spot where, if he is a villager, looks a little bit shady just because of (and if I'm remembering it sorry) the way she seemed to say "f it" and vote zander

 

I don't think it's possible for calder and Sooh to be on a scum team because of the way calder is approaching soon, but aside from that I don't think I can rule out multiple wolves on the wagon. It is also possible they are villagers so yeah

 

If zander is a wolf I think calder has a point that it's likely Sooh is the only person bussing him, but I think it's more likely that wolves are simply calling him a villager and avoiding his wagon in this case

 

I noticed this when I was quoting the post above it.

 

I think Calders playing it excatly that way with all is songs and zanders scum posts etc, to say if he got me ML'D something like....."Oh well look at how obv it is and how much attention it would draw, Scum!Calder would never approach it like that"

Believer gives very easy reads for ~uncertain or next to no reason to myself/Z/Dice and in part Besie. Zander jumps on him, not for the emptiness of those reads, but because he has reads? This reads so weird to me Z.

 

Following that the exchange between Believer/Zander ends with me feeling better about Believer and worse about Z.

Well it wasn't a shade attempt, it was more of a direct suspicion actually. You seem to be blindly focused on meta and unable to read the replies people give to you in this game and add them to your consideration. It's fine to use meta as a starting point or even a grounds for suspicion, but to say that Believer's responses this game mean nothing compared to previous meta, which in my experience has differed from game to game, sounds fishy to me.

Right now in catch up its page 37  I dont remember the exact page this started on but youre acting like me starting to figure people out with Meta early in a game with 2 people, (Besie- Who you know I have a personal bias for and has made me look really bad when shes owned me up as The Wolfy Troll Princess and as you know someone Ive only played 5 games of Mafia with and Believer who is new to DM and Ive only played 2 games with him) is somehow strange or unZander like and thats making 0 sense to me.

 

It's not that you're using meta to form reads that's strange to me. It's your unwillingness to actually consider their responses besides throwing a "but you did it differently last time" at them. It reads to me like you make your mind up that you're going to read a person wolfy for doing something that's different in a game, and you just keep harping on it through a long argument with them without reading their responses and having any visible thought process about their responses.

Thank god for Darthe and Sooh. My mind is screaming that the scum team has to be:

Nolder

Besie

Talk to me about Besie, since that's where we have the most conflicting view atm.

My issue with Besie is that while I and others were discussing Zander and Nolder at times, she didnt have a huge issue with the cases on them. Yet she kept ISOing others oddly and it gave me the vibe of trying to find a 3rd lynch candidate that wasnt on her team.

 

It is why I commented that I believe she is the most active scum member of the team.

 

She is also the reason a Zander lynch is preferable to Nolder, since Besie's play puts her as most likely to be Zander's scum partner. A nolder lynch doesnt do the same.

 

 

Again I dont understand because youre stating in the thread that Besie is a likely Scummate of mine and you had Sooh there most of the game as well but you wanna lynch me today then Nolder tomorrow.

Hes playing vastly different then the last game and different enough in Disney thus far.

 

Getting reads from him last game early D1 was a task.  He talks about how D1 and D1 reads are crap.

Well it wasn't a shade attempt, it was more of a direct suspicion actually. You seem to be blindly focused on meta and unable to read the replies people give to you in this game and add them to your consideration. It's fine to use meta as a starting point or even a grounds for suspicion, but to say that Believer's responses this game mean nothing compared to previous meta, which in my experience has differed from game to game, sounds fishy to me.

Right now in catch up its page 37  I dont remember the exact page this started on but youre acting like me starting to figure people out with Meta early in a game with 2 people, (Besie- Who you know I have a personal bias for and has made me look really bad when shes owned me up as The Wolfy Troll Princess and as you know someone Ive only played 5 games of Mafia with and Believer who is new to DM and Ive only played 2 games with him) is somehow strange or unZander like and thats making 0 sense to me.

 

It's not that you're using meta to form reads that's strange to me. It's your unwillingness to actually consider their responses besides throwing a "but you did it differently last time" at them. It reads to me like you make your mind up that you're going to read a person wolfy for doing something that's different in a game, and you just keep harping on it through a long argument with them without reading their responses and having any visible thought process about their responses.

I don't know about trains and stuff. Perhaps your team has decided to throw you under the bus because it's like the least likely thing they could do? I don't know. Perhaps your team are not around? So many reasons why there is just one train at the end of D1.

 

Your Calder ISO just shows that Calder has picked up on you all game, and yes, he's tunneling you. Could it be scummy what he's doing? Sure, but I agree with his points in suspecting you, so it's a bit hard to see that he's scum at the moment. If you somehow flip town I'll be sure to examine Calder closely. Most likely I'll be putting him on a pedistal for the rest of the game though. That's how I see it.
