D4 Final Votecount

Cory (5): WiFi, Zass, Pral, Cory, Ironeyes

WiFi (1): Tiinker

Not Voting (3): Hallia, Shad

Game is now HYBRID HAMMER With 8 alive it takes 5 to lynch

???? There are five votes on Cory, aren't there? Unless his self vote doesn't count, which is totally plausible for a jester.

Cory waited patiently, in the DreamWorld that felt like home he waited patiently for the wolves to show. He had never been equalled in the dreamworld not by the Aiel that thought they could walk their safely, nor the Aes Sedai that had started showing up, not even the Chosen could equal him there. Recently that blacksmith had been a bit of a problem, but would be dealt with eventually.

He waited, a wolf appeared and died, then he sensed the air move, turned and the blacksmith was there, rage burning in his eyes

Cory has been lynched, he was;

Welcome Slayer talk about split personalities, you are some hybrid version of Luc and Issam, a hunter of wolves in the Dreamworld

You are a member of the mafia

Each day you must choose to spend the night in Tel'Aran'Rhiod or a stedding.

In the stedding you have a one shot track ability

In Tel'Aran'Rhiod you may kill one Hero of the Horn (dead player) each night, this ability continues after death (i.e. once you are dead you may continue to kill (remove) another dead player from the game.)

Faction kill - ninja - if you submit the faction kill within Tel'Aran'Rhiod and on somebody else within Tel'Aran'Rhiod the kill will not be seen. You can not submit a ninja kill 2 nights running

DARTHE: I thought that my role was the counter to your role....ie you pulled people into TR I pulled them into the stedding....I never fully understood and still don't your commute role...

So balance was really hard to judge and despite the fact town won easily is still hard to judge, since very few town roles actually worked towards solving

Essentially town had a more or less winning POE end Day 1 and certainly by Day 2 down to straight gameplay and only really started losing it when the focus shifted to mechanics :p

Mafia had a lot of setup info that I don't think they ever really utilized

They had enough info to know/guess that the stedding was mostly (but not entirely) vanilla, they knew there were no straight cops, they knew town had protective roles and some sort of tracker/watcher/follower role. They should have guessed it was role madness, and the doc not being able to self protect was something I thought would have been a reasonable guess

The dreamspike would have killed a lot of scummy town early (although not using it was the correct decision given Snow was shot N1)

Town had a lot of protective roles, but this isn't necessarily that beneficial. Town turning on overlapping claims is pretty predictable (and exploitable), besides which mafia had several options to bypass the protection completely.

Town were low on investigative roles, but had the benefit of dead town being trusted voices

Third party were given the wrong win con with their role abilities, for which I'm (still)sorry to Dice.

With the execute that Day 1 should not have happened :( but nothing to be done when a player goes AWOL, it was a great lynch by town and severely weakened the mafia team <3

Deadline lynch was because of the day actions and choices (ldo)

The redacted part of Demandred role referred to the dreamspike

Not sure what else there is really

Town's Day 1 was superb and pretty much won the game then and there

<3 Kat for trying to build the team Day 1 and Cory for helping end the game on a fun note

I learned a lot from this game, if I do a role madness again it will be very different :p

Mafia did have a shared ability to pull someone into TAR or to the stedding. Your role was effectively a weak RB, it wouldn't block the kill, but would block most abilities, however it also protected them from any town abilities, so a very mixed bag, had more value late game when most town abilities were used up

Commuter made that person untargettable, so he couldn't be killed or investigated or anything else.

I actually really liked the duel night thread aspect, there was some really good hunting in some of the threads, more effective than the thread in some cases :p
