@Clov - Didn't realize that was directed at me. WiFi is definitely my lynch target at this point. Ironeyes is someone I'm watching. Sooh and yourself are too I'm also watching. Sooh is pretty much a gut feeling and you is everyone convincing me you're very dangerous coupled with Pral's thoughts D1.

 

I would not lynch Nyn or Niniel at this point. Nyn seems to be on her Town game and I still find myself buying that Niniel did not see the PM sample in the OP since I did the same thing and had the same thought.

 

I've also not at any point been suspicious if Hallia. I need to go back and look at her train.

 

I need to sleep now though so I'll post tomorrow as I can.

As for post count I really don't put that much weight in it. As for me I post when I have relevant thoughts. *shrug*

 

 

It wasn't a criticism on the amount of posting you do. More so that it's amusing that you say that you feel the main reason Ironeyes is being pushed is his inactivity.... but he has a lot more posts than you.

fwiw, I think this actually looks good for dice. Pral was leading 6-4. He voted 3 minutes to deadline. He could have safely voted Ironeyes, as his scummate, and come out looking squeaky clean after Pral's mislynch... and even better if/when Ironeyes gets lynched going forward and flips scum.

Positioning wise, you're right about thr vote itself but his stance on Iron makes me think he wouldn't actually go Pral over iron.

 

And if he's teamed with Iron, bussing there is still risky. It wasn't a guarantee somebody didnt switch from Pral until the end (though it seems like it was unlikely?)

 

 

 

 

My opinion? I feel like 3 minutes window is VERY small and prolly safe for such a move.... and we were already like saying gn to each other at the time that he voted and i gave a warning not to post after deadline. I think it was apparent the lynch was going Pral's way. Hell dice could have "missed" deadline and he wouldn't look horrible for it. Prolly not great, but not really horrible either. My point is he didn't NEED to secure the lynch. I just think he let himself be swayed by my conviction.... I felt VERY sure. But so much for that...

 

The people around at EoD were myself, Hallia, Sooh, Wifi, dice and Kat (or at least, those were the players that were posting at last minute EoD). Four of those were voting Pral. Sooh was voting Ironeyes. If he had voted Ironeyes, could one of us have switched to make it a tie last minute? Probably. But why would we leave it to random between the two by tying it? last minute? I don't think that would have ever happened. And it was too late to coordinate two of us moving, imo.

I think he said that it felt like Ironeyes' vote on Pral looked iffy and that he was bailing or something. And there was an added "I saw that, Nyn" about some joke i made lol

 

If I had to interpret it? It kinda comes across like he was still sort of going back and forth between pral and ironeyes, even though he already cast a vote on Pral.

So Tal.... he's suspicious/wary of wifi, sooh, ironeyes and clov and his plan going forward is that he's gonna be "watching" them. Feels kinda passive to me.

 

Why not dig up stuff and build cases? Sooh and Clov are like the 2nd and 3rd highest posters. Ironeyes does have game related content to review. So there's plenty to do but I don't see him doing much to back up his suspicions... and it's not awfully comforting to me that he'll be "watching them". His suspicions stem from what? Sooh is a feeling.... Clov, because of his reputation?  These reasons might fly on D1 as initial reads... but we're on D2 with enough content to go around and some flips in hand. So I'm entirely underwhelmed.

 

The only indication I saw of him intending to do anything was him saying that he'll look into Halli's train. I find that odd because I think looking into Pral's train would be more telling, considering we have his flip. But hey, I'll help out. Hallia's train had myself, Wifi and Pral on it. And Nini voted her before taking off. You can take it from here, Talmanes. :P

Honestly at this point I hope it's as easy as Ironeyes/Talamanes/Wifi. But I took a hit to the ballsack by Pral's flip so who knows.

It can't really be this easy though, can it?

 

Part of me wants to put Dice over Wifi for the whole Iron/Pral vote thing, but I don't know if I genuinely think it makes him scum or that he basically comes to the same conclusions I do after I make them and then finds some justification for how it makes me mafia.

I don't think it makes him scum. Like I said... I think he would have benefited more from voting Ironeyes or not voting at all. Making that vote put attention on him that he could have otherwise avoided. Like I don't really get what benefit he derives form putting a vote on Pral when his lynch was basically secured. It seems too contrived to think that he did it cause it's not something we'd expect a scummate to do.

 

I'm not great at reading dice, and that's why he's not super high on my read list. But I don't think his vote at EoD is much of an indication. I mean, looking at Pral's train, is that really the vote that bothers you most?

I think I've very clearly indicated it's not. But when you stop looking at how the votes came and consider why they fell the eay they did, it stands out to me.

 

Is that potentially because he said something odd and a lot of people said nothing at all? Absolutely. But I'm fine being the person to press there if nobody else is going to.

For what its worth I didn't come on early today cause at 9 I had therapy till 10am then at 10 am I took a nap till 11 am sitting in w/c ... yeah I do that sometimes...meds...Then I drew picture for RR TASK...I figured we have 2 days its not a hammer game so I can get some other stuff done...then I caught up and now I am answering questions:  

 

1. As far as staying on Hallia after her catch up: Most of the points she was making were saying I was scum, which I'm NOT OR saying Niniel is scum which I agree with.  At the time I did not have time to argue with Hallia about her stance on me. Then there was a couple of posts that just seemed weird to me: The reason I didn't post this way back when was two-fold: 1. I didn't have enough time between the two games 2. In past games when I would post long series of posts with quotes, people would post such things as, " TL;DR, I didn't read Wifi's post, etc" so I figured why bother anymore.

Okay, just powered through everything.  I don't have the time to respond to everything that I'd want to, but the short version:

 

-Mixed feelings on Pral.  I like that he's getting involved finally and his willingness to start a push is a good sign, but the things he's pushing me confuse me.  He uses the thing about Alanna and my post towards WiFi out...immediately after commenting that he felt similar.  

 

He's not wrong about voting an easy target, but pretty much everybody is an easy target.  I can't push Alanna.  I couldn't easily push Nyn.  After Sooh started digging in, she wouldn't really be so easy to push.  But why would I?  Confirmed town, somebody that's playing incredibly protown, and somebody that has been increasingly townie since deliberately acting off to get things going.

 

If the giant group of nulls start posting, I can evaluate better.  In the mean time, I have to make due with what I've got.

 

-The vote for IronEyes was somewhat for inactivity, but more how it came.  He was very fluffy early and I dragged him into contributing.  He said he needed more information to make a decision.  That's fine - not everybody thinks 'quickly'.  So what did he do?

I saw he said he was busy earlier today, but I would think if he was available to post about there not being new pages he'd be able to post something that contributed to the game without having to be directly asked.

 

-Tress made a point about Pral I liked and agreed with, which is why I didn't feel completely awful about his push on me.  Town!Pral is going to give you his thoughts.  He's not afraid to go completely against the grain on a read or disagree with somebody.  I still want to see more from Tress because she's usually pretty obvious to me when she's town, and she hasn't been.

 

-Hallia is looking just a little worse, just because it seemed most of her posts when she was going back through were just agreeing/saying she liked things.  I know she does that as town, but I'd expect something unique from her.  Everything was just piggybacking what everybody else said.

 

 

I saw Alanna voted Talmanes.  I wouldn't vote there over Iron, but I have no issues with his lynch.  I'd certainly prefer him over Hallia.

2. she is distancing herself from dice, her partner...I know I gave him slightly townie....but I was on the balance beam with that call so went with town for now...hence the disclaimer..

I read Nyn´s intro post as she was town. I thought all townies would see it and that is why I was suspicous of those voting her. But... the townie pm is in the intro so all that gave me was embarresment for not reading it. So basically, I regret everything I wrote. :D
