So Sirren let me ask this. Let's say Dice is telling the truth. Then who do you want to lynch and why?

If Dice is telling the truth the only recourse it to vote Shad I guess, because Dice telling the truth means Shad is mafia. There's always lynching Shad anyway to test Dice, and if he flips anything other than mafia goon then we just lynch Dice the next day phase.

 

Balrog already pointed out though that the last game I played where there was a role cop - me - I was scum. Admittedly I claimed it because I didn't know it wasn't always a town role, and Dice would know that, so his claim can be taken with more credit than mine was. But he also claimed Mason, and all of the Masons so far have had alternative win conditions. What if Dice has to get a specific player lynched to win? I don't know if that's possible, but its enough to make me leery of his claim.

Ninja'd and thank you. Makes sense. Forgot he claimed to viewed Shad as goon. Yes the last is possible but it's not a role you see often.

Yeah, you guys keep saying you wouldn't put anything past Darthe. It's why I'm pretty much convinced there's more to Dice than just a Mason Role Cop :/

The boy  Tod, named after his grandpa Darthe, walked down the stairs one at a time with careful steps.  He turned a hard right, stepped over his aunt's and then uncles intwined legs with a quick hop, and then strode confidently into the kitchen, avoiding each mouse trap with the grace of someone who truly was twice shy.  He opened the fridge, slid the chilling bath sanitizer and pigs feet and watermelon cubes aside and finally found grandpa's night cup.  Tod kicked the fridge shut and strode back out of the kitchen, over his aunt and uncles hairy legs, up the stairs, past the loose rounds his father kept in the hallway and then back into his room with cup in hand.  Grandpa's face lit up when he saw it, and he quickly gulped down a good half of it.  

 

"Want some, kid?"

 

"No thank you grandpa, just more story please."  Tod wrapped up in his favorite green blanket.

 

"Alright my boy.  This is where the story gets dark."  

 

"They rose the next morning, just as dawn began to crack, to have their daily brief and it was then that the group discovered the horrific truth of Bran's dark vision.  There's no easy way to say this so I will put it simply."

Ok so one pair of masons for sure with the flip. I won't spend time speculating the possibility of more than one team cuz it takes away from finding scum. (Boggles the thread with what ifs).

 

I'd also like to see a current VC. Going to try to look at end of D1/reactions.

I just woke up and have a lot of work ahead of me before I can really sit down. Just a few points for anyone who seriously doubts this:

 

I've been a Mason with Dice before. He wanted to claim the entire game and I had to continually talk him out of it. He doesn't see it as some terrible thing that a villager only does as a last ditch effort.

 

He role and character claimed with zero hesitation but he's super defensive about revealing his Mason. If he was a town mason with a red peek on me he would know he's dead tonight and clearing his partner would be the most important thing on his mind today after getting me lynched.

 

The only other explicitly Mason flip in the game was not a villager.  Sili and Zander were teamed as wolf and SK.  We already have reason to believe Dice can be a wolf Mason.  The fact that he refuses to reveal who pretty much guarantees this unless he's lying about the role in the first place.

 

Mafia have fake claims or else character names are not alignment indicative or else character reveals are not allowed. This has been true in every game I have ever played on DM as far as I can remember. Claiming Bran is worth exactly nothing.

 

He keeps pushing that he has to be town because he wouldn't claim Role Cop as a wolf. That is massively WIFOM and pretty much every wolf you've ever seen claim a PR that can be mafia has said something along these lines.

 

Dice played the Zander topic D1 exactly the same as he played Sooh in Dragon Reborn when Dice was a wolf, and anyone who takes 5 minutes to ISO that game will recognize it.

 

What Dice is pulling on me is literally the exact same thing a wolf pulled on him in Lost.  It's not some wild "wow never expected Dice to do that" play.  It's something that just happened to him and he came into this game intensely aware of its effectiveness.

 

I've been an obvious villager all game and Dice has been playing right in line to his wolf meta and plenty of you recognized this prior to his claim.

 

He was straight-up lolcatting at me last night.  I called him out for not addressing any of my D1 concerns like six times and when he finally acknowledged that I was doing this I quoted them for him and he literally pretended I didn't.

He's been wavering back and forth between still trying and openly wolfing and this is really freakin obvious.

 

Anyone who is hesitant to lynch him today had better have a good answer for all of these points.  Especially Hallia and Lenlo.

Posted that to see who didn't vote. She was third party jester. Doesn't say as much as if she flipped mafia. (meaning then these could be among her teammates.) Calder was replaced so we know why there was no vote there.

Thoughts that I had reading after final VC from D1 and reactions to flip...(Won't note everyone, just things that stand out or I want to note on).

 

Shad responded before the flip was posted. He was talking about not liking Zander and Dice. Based on reaction to the flip and how he interacted with everyone at this point, plus his recent post liking Shad.Reading a few pages and still liking Shad. He's making sense the way he posts feel genuine, not forced. He's a good player as either alignment, but leaning not likely voting here today.

 

Sirren looking decent so far. Not a player I know but liking the responses and how she handles questions at her. Also taking time to be clear on how she feels about players. Won't get a vote from me anytime soon unless something changes from her.

 

Len wants to lynch Dice but wants Zander first. (who flipped SK...good call there)

 

Thoughts after D2 started with flips.

 

Don't like Dice's response "aise your hand if you are gonna be silly enuff to vote me today??

 

Len do me a fava and unvote for now willya?" Sounds like something he's more likely to say as scum or at least anti-town. Though a roled townie also maybe. Since I know he's claimed role cop (anti-town role) this post makes me feel like he's more likely scum pushing for a mislynch on Shad. Really don't like his hinting/taunting attitude.

She flipped SK, yes with the Alpha Brood, but why would that change how you feel about Dice? I could see if she flipped town maybe. I don't understand how her flipping SK makes you feel less sure of Dice.

 

I noticed there were 3 kills N1. One I'm sure was the SK, one the mafia, who was the third? I did notice something. Both Celeste and Sili have Alpha Brood with their names...so they were connected somehow.

 

Ran out of time to catch up...left off on page 59. Won't be reading the rest but now I have a feel for a few players. Those listed above I'll list from most likely town to least likely.

I did vote...I unvoted cause she claimed vanilla town and in the last game I played someone did that and I didn't listen and they were vt and I felt really bad so I unvoted her....and I asked darthe if I had to vote and he said no so I didn't.
