Gameplay and Rules:

1.Each round teams will have three choices to pick from in a Choose Your Own Adventure format. One leads to safety, one leads to a challenge of skill or luck, and one leads to sudden death.

2. If your team chooses an option ending in death, or fails a challenge, one of your teams members will face a horrible death at random. Teams receive points as a whole so even if you die your team can still win.

3. During the week each round will last 24 hours which will double to 48 hours during weekends. If all teams make a choice the round will end early.

4. Only one team can win, but all teams can accrue points.

5. You are free to talk about the options and teams can choose the same options as one another. How you interact is totally up to you, but once again, only one team can win.

It was time. All teams had once again converged. The Aiel had led them to a path into the Blight but would go no further. They clearly seemed to think these travelers were insane, but said only “May you spit in Sightblinder’s eye.”

All knew this would be by far the most perilous journey they had taken thus far. Their spirits resolute they continued on.

The deeper they got the more sickly the land became. Not much grew, but what did seemed...wrong.

They huddled a little closer together as they heard a distant rumbling.

  • Club Leader

The Dark One watched closely as these strangers ventured into Shayol Ghul. How best to use them? Would they be good Trolloc food, or could She use them in a more insidious way? She tapped her chin, and pondered....

The teams continued onward, feeling a bit disconcerted as they realized they were heading towards the rumbling.

The noise suddenly came to a crescendo as a familiar face surfaced once again on a stone pillar.

Breathing heavily a sick, twisted smile took his lips. “So you had to keep on did you? Didn't listen to my warning? None of you will survive this foolishness. Did you really think you'd make it to the Tainted Dungeon ?”

He looked over each team with an unsettling gleam in his eyes. “You'll all die” he repeated “but perhaps I won't hasten your death. Yes. I'll help you...if only to prolong your suffering.” He gestured and three items appeared before each team.

“Here in Shayol Ghul the Great Lord’s presence has mad the Pattern less absolute. There are… Other Worlds . Some nothing like this world you're accustomed to. You simply have to know where to look. Each item you see will be your salvation in on of three Worlds. The question is which Item, and which World?”

With a horrific cackling the man on the pillar disappeared back into the earth leaving the teams to make their decision.

Each team must choose Torch, Flute, or Sword. Each corresponds with a World that you will choose later. There will be three Worlds to choose from. Please post your choice in Blue.

You have 24 hours.

Choose wisely.

***Disclaimer - The items were chosen to give it a WoT feel (multiple teams saw the Finn relation) but the other worlds are non-WoT. This will be the only round involving non-WoT plot. It's the semifinals, gotta make it a bit harder ;)

*grumbles about DM crashing and getting me off schedule.*

Each team began discussing what item to take. The Brownie Bites came forward first taking the Flute in front of them.

The Tainted Tricksters chose next taking up the Sword.

Next came the Lightning Slingers, also taking the Flute from their pile.

Lastly it was time for Team XForce. They seemed unable to decide and so chose the Torch at Random .

After choosing their items the teams started forward again, deeper into Blight. As they continued the land began to...shift.

They came up to a spot where three places appeared in blurry holes in the air.

The first was some sort of castle Dungeon, it seemed to hold many mysterious secrets.

The second was a dark Cave. It sounded as if spirits whispered inside.

The last was a Library that seemed to be full of ominous shadows.

Teams have 27 hours to choose a World: Dungeon, Cave, or Library.

Personally hope the dark cave is the Lord of the Rings cave where my sword, the reforged narsil, will make the spirits let me pass and/or follow me...

Also thinking the shadows in the library are the pair for the torch... Will see if my guesses are correct soon enough since all votes are now in...

The Brownie Bites stepped forward, flute in hand. Tina felt confident the Dungeon was the right call. They walked through the hole in the air and were transported.

They started to walk when they heard it. A low growl echoing in the chamber. They turned to see a monstrous beat behind them.

“Quick, the flute!” Captain Lily shouted. Niniel grabbed the flute firmly and began to play. As the notes drifted over to the beast they had an obvious effect.. It was falling asleep!

Soon it drifted into a deep sleep leaving both adventurers arguing over who got to keep it as a pet.

The Brownie Bites have survived with no casualties.

Team XForce watched he Brownie Bites go, the hole blinking out of existence. Torch firmly in hand Captain Dice led the way to the Library. What was the worst that could happen there?

They walked on, torch guiding them. The walk seemed uneventful. “Something's eating my cloak!” Chaelca yelled out of nowhere.

Captain Dice swung around with the torch just in time to stop the darkness from advancing. For this was no ordinary darkness.

They remained vigilant from there on out, making sure to keep the darkness at bay.

Team XForce has survived with no casualties.

The Tainted Tricksters and Lightning Slingers went last both opting for the cave. Captain Nikon walked confidently, hand on the Sword. Captain Kati kept the flute in her hand as they walked.

They walked on for a time, an eery light guiding them. Kati turned to say something to her team then dropped the flute, leaving it rolling forward. “I'll get it.” Leyrann volunteered.

He stepped forward and got his hand around it when ghastly figures appeared in front in him.

“Who dares disturb our slumber?!” the leader fumed, crown shaking. He pulled a glowing sword and ran Leyrann through. Turning toward the others he was met with surprise as another blade met his.

“That will be quite enough, we seek only passage. Leave us in peace and no harm will come to you.” Captain Nikon proclaimed. The figure lunged seething with rage but Nikon's blade met his throat before he could swing. “This is your last warning.”

With another angry glare the figures disappeared like mist. The travelers weren't bothered again.

The Tainted Tricksters have survived with no casualties.

Leyrann of the Lightning Slingers has died.
