@Clov: Zander was referring to quite a few games ago when we were v/v and I lynched him d1 because we disagreed and I took that to mean that he was scum. I followed up in the NEXT game where we were v/v by defending him but I'm pretty sure he got lynched anyways or something. So he's basically holding it over my head that I can be wrong about him if he feels off despite the fact that when he's felt "off" I've been right more often than wrong.

 

Niniel: didn't like her "sheeping BFG" post, it just felt odd to me. Disagreed with her scum reading both Katiora and Sili, Kat for excuses or something and Sili for god knows what reasons. (I have a very strong town read of Sili rn) Otherwise I don't remember what she's posted besides that initial reads list.

 

What games have you pegged me as Scum in Lainey correctly?

One of the most Zander things I can think of, as any alignment, is that he pretty much aggros anybody who insinuates he's not town. When Zander is town, he thinks he's the most obvious person ever, even though he's not. As mafia, he either thinks hes still the most obvious person ever, or he does an exceptionally good job faking it.

 

That's beem pretty much consistent throughout this game, except I've made it very clear I haven't trusted him throughout this game and he never got that way with me. Other than maybe Cory, I'm struggling to come up with another time this happened.

 

That's why I asked him earlier what his read of me is. He answered me, but it was a very uncharacteristically cautious answer. I have a hard time thinking he'd be afraid to go toe to toe with me if he's town, and honestly, I think he'd try as mafia. So I really have no idea what to feel about it.

 

First part is true.

@ Hallia - I have not been here because it took me a long time to catch up. The only reason I was able to do it at all is that I don´t work today. 

 

A lot of people have me as a possible lynch candidate so I will try to explain my game so far.

 

* I had an idea of how Katiora played as mafia but that was wrong. It was a mistake.

* I said I could just follow BFG. I actually never did so but that comment was based on 

 a) She was my strongest townread.

 b) I will not be able to be active/take notes in a game like this.

 c) And a little bit of a joke. I don´t think I have ever just blindly followed anyone in a game where I haven´t got a cop result. 

* What more? I´m not her much because it´s a too active game for me. I will not be able to be very active and it will be more gut feelings based on posts that I remember. I have already forgotten about the first posts I read today.

 

 

So my impressions:

 

Wish - I only remember one game that I have played with her. Maybe there have been more and maybe I have read some game that she played but I don´t remember that. Anyway, we were mafia together in that game. She posted a lot of meaningless stuff. A lot of lols and smileys and just strange out of the blue stuff. I don´t understand her here either, and I think that her analysis of the early questions is really wrong (at least about me), but she seems more involved. She is commenting on things that happens. So my one and only experience with her before tells me she is town. But I still don´t understand her.

 

Clov - I find it easy to understand his posts because he is logical. Still, his vote on me is wrong. I could be me, since I probably haven´t explained myself any good, but it also looks like an "easy" vote. I don´t usually see Clov doing these but as I said, it could just be me playing really bad. 

 

Laine - like her.

 

BFG - have not been as active as in the start. I hope she will be. Still town though.

 

Hally - townie feeling

 

Darthe - ??? He is certainly choosing a few things to point to and I don´t know if it is because it´s the only things he think is important to focus on or if he chooses to not focus on other things on purpose.

So let me get this straight YOURE calling BFG out for ativity...yes I know youre Town reading her but still  shes one of the most active players in the game.

Zander - I still think he is mafia. It´s based on earlier stuff but I have not seen anything that makes him look better. It´s also worth nothing that Dice and Laine doesn´t have him as town. They know him well.

 

Dice - I like his posts.

Lily - same as before. A very small +.

 

seph - he claimed vt when being confronted. Why? There weren´t a lot of votes on him and few people was arguing with him. I need to figure out what I think about that early reveal.

Why would I change my view of you when I think you are mafia? I found one thing that you have done that I don´t think you would do as town and in my eyes it makes you mafia. For what it´s worth, my view on you have changed but not for the better. I will not let go just because you don´t think I have "developed" my read on you. I think you are mafia. That´s it!

 

And to people that are accusing RTE of just following other players. I will not defend RTE, because I have not re-read his posts. But I will defend the right to agree with others. How on earth would we ever achieve a lynch if people didn´t agree with each other? Sure, mafia could try to hide among popular oppinions (and maybe that is what he is doing, what do I know?) but in this case, if Zander is mafia, then mafia will only use that as an excuse to get people not to vote him. Since I have games where I disappear for a while I know what it´s like to show up, realise that I agree with others, post that and then people say that I´m just following others. That doesn´t have to be wrong.

Kat - I don´t feel good about her. She posts a lot to tell people to stop arguing and doing fluff/lol posts. I agree with her that people should stop arguing in that way because it makes the thread unreadable for some of us, but she doesn´t seem to draw any conclusions of them even though she apparently reads them. It seems like she is just posting to be seen posting.

 

Liz - I don´t understand a lot of what she is writing. Have no idea about her. 

 

#1 I never said to stop doing fluff/lol posts... At least I dont' remember saying anything to that effect... which just makes me think that you're not really reading the thread you are skimming and then putting attributes to people as you want, not as they are. 

 

#2 I never said I read the arguments. In fact I barely read anything in those posts... thus my post about ya'll need to stop because I can't read the thread because ya'll are arguing about something that no one else gets. I skimmed those pages, and sometimes read the end of the huge quote posts but a lot of it was just them going back and forth... I do believe I said the argument felt more like town/town (though from other interactions I really think Wish is slightly scummy). That's a conclusion I do think... another time she's not really reading and just throwing misinformation out there.

 

#3  I'm  just posting to be posting when she posts her reads list in 4 different posts and there are 3-4 "reads" that all it says is "i like or townie feeling" I mean really... well... good for you. Where's the actual information.

I have 15 minutes before I have to run to work, so I apologize - I'm not going to read through all 305 messages that have been posted since I went to bed last night.

 

(as a partially whiny, partly constructive feedback to the Gods of DM - I would love love love if it were possible to change the notification system to get notification of responses to my posts and mentions rather than just all the posts that have been posted since I posted, which just makes me sad...)

 

I will try to skim back before I go, but I don't know when end of day is or if I'll be able to get back home in time to do much before then.

 

Seph is my strongest scum read right now and he has been basically since his entrance to the thread. I was trying to test a theory about him vs. Sili at one point, but no one (from what I saw) actually responded to my probe about Sili's SK meta (I think Sili is town now for the record) and Seph never seems to be around or responsive when I'm trying to test anything.

 

Most of my notes are from the first 20 pages, but what I've seen from him since hasn't shifted my perspective.

I stopped doing quotes at that point and just noted page numbers, but I noted that in #298 he disagrees with Lenlo saying that Zander is off and BFG town – buddying BFG???? Protecting a town buddy?

 

 

3. He seems to shade and be unconcerned about shifting his votes even when he supposedly no longer has a scum read on Sili - which always reads to me like scum wanting to wait and see if their "leftover" vote could be picked up into a wagon later:

#167 Seph claims that he hasn’t unvoted Sili because he’s lazy

 

 

5. In the first quote I quoted in #1, I also noted that he seems eager to shade Zander, Dice, and Clov, and then in #176 Seph answers Zander it felt like he was shading Zander again* (note about Zander coming up later).

 

6. He just seems too...cocky this game. I've played with him as town in to games now, and I was able to pick up signs of "town!Seph" by this point. Especially in the last game where he was clearly town to me even though he voted against my mason partner in an attempt to save Clov who turned out to be mafia. But I'm not seeing town!Seph here. I've missed a good chunk of posts, granted, but even when we finally were posting in the thread at the same time he seemed eager to sling shade at me after I started questioning other people about him, and he seemed more defensive than productive when people started suggesting that he was scum, getting sulky and claiming VT.

 

 

I also have supsicions on Lenlo, Dice and Darthe, but I feel like I haven't had a chance to test out any of those theories because they don't seem to be responding to my probes...or they're not responding when I'm around. Darthe, I will admit (sorry Darthe) is that he seems nicer than I expect him to be. But I actually agree with his thoughts on Seph (with the exception of that ridiculous theory about punctuation that I'm hoping he's joking about)

 

*With Zander - I don't think he can be scum with Seph, Niniel, or Lenny. I want to think he's not scum at all. The thing with both Seph and Niniel claiming that he's asking pointless questions at points when I didn't think he was (prior to his engagement with them - as I pointed out I thought his repetitive questioning of Niniel's read on Kat (?) was circular, but that was AFTER Niniel's claim that his earlier questioning was meaningless).

 

 

With Lenny, I think her accusations that Zander must be scum because he was too jokey to be town were ridiculous. But (no offense) that's more what I expect from town Lenny than scum lenny. She drove me nuts the one game I played with her because she kept picking up on things that I considered nonsensical to try to push people with, and then she'd also tell people what she expected to see from them if they were scum or town (even though I explained to her that TELLING people what she expected made her supposed tells useless). Scum lenny seems to be more subtle and calculating.

 

And now I have to go to work because that took me almost 15 minutes to type...
