@Hallia 580

Zander becomes serious most games, but he was jokey/slow to get started in Chrono Trigger specifically, I can't remember all his mafia games, but I'm pretty sure he was slow in Belichick as well  Spooooky was a different situation so I don't want to draw too much from that one. I won't say it's enough to draw a strong alignment from, but it's a positive start.

Dice was pretty direct, straight forward. I'd agree that he was defensive, because he was defending himself

It felt over defensive. Like flustered. When im town, ill defend myself sure, but im also gonna keep on casing and pushing people. Im not gonna direct all power to forward shields and pray they hold.

Ok caught up.

Two things strike me the most.

First Dice changing from we need to resolve Turin and Zander today to moving off both of them entirely. I believe Turin is town. If Zander was to flip town I would take a hard look at Dice next (and that answers your question about that that you've asked everyone).

Second, nothing Zander has done has given me reason to think he's town. His insistence to discredit QT content is just plain and simply not a town stance. He's been defensive more than reasonable. Finally I just don't understand him moving off Turin, regardless if it's to me or not. I don't buy that he's doing it because he doesn't see a Turin lynch happening when most of the rest of the game is trying to resolve their roles and alignment. How he doesn't see Turin as a viable lynch is beyond me, and especially if he is so adamant that he is scum, with extra information to go on based on a QT as well. That he attempts to start a new train entirely when his reasoning is that the Turin lynch won't happen and he ll do anything to stay alive doesn't make sense either. Then you'd think he'd have placed his vote on the second largest train, assuming he is a townie who would rather risk anyone else dying but himself. So to me he isn't doing what would make the most sense to save himself, when IIRC that was his reasoning for moving off Turin.

Lenlo has been posting well and I agree with most of what he's said. He's solid town for me right now. Dice is still null but definite scum lean for his stepping out of the Turin Zander voting. Hallia's posts don't look out of place and I had John as my strongest town read. Townie vibes for eldrick and shad. One thing I'm not following is the case on Rey. I'd like to see some new stuff from him but liked his past posts. I guess I had a really good feel about the tone of his posts but perhaps that in itself isn't enough at this point. That being said I'm not one to comment on contributing at this point.

This is interesting. I originally called dice scum for fixating on voting between Zander and Turin, that it felt like he was saying to vote between them because he knew they were both town. He had been going after Turin pre-claim, but unvoted Turin to discuss the new developments. (I haven't heard back from him yet why the claim made him go from scum reading Turin to suddenly townreading him, and this point is making me skeptical on his take on this)

Now you seem to be fixating on them. Why does the vote have to be between them? Why is dice scummy for looking elsewhere?

Eldrick, what has you undecided about Zander? Not too long ago you stated you were switching to Rey in part ( I assume no small part since you phrased it that way ) to prevent a ninja hammer of zander. That doesn't really read as undecided but more like giving it time.

Feels disconnected to me. Worrisome.

Since then he posted the post explanation on RTE that was very similar to mine. Being I know mine is coming from a town mindset, it felt good to see that he was seeing the same things.

I've already detailed the points I have for and against him ATP.

Dice, can you please explain to me how you went from scumreading Turin to townreading him from the claim?

After the claim, when you suggested we vote between them, did you still think Turin was scum? When did you read on him change, and why?

Ugh, even writing this my opinions change a lot

Tsuki

Lenlo

Zander

Hallia

Shad

Turin

Dice

Niniel

Eldrick

Rey

RTE

Laine

Lenlo feels engaged particularly the discussion with Zander

Zander seems genuinely frustrated which I associate more with town!Zander. I'm sort of surprised by how strongly the reaction was against him following Turin's claim, considering that it's all on out of thread stuff. Difficult to have much confidence in this read while he's under pressure though

Shad's been digging in and seems to be ramping up, he's asking a lot of questions about Zander/Turin and doesn't seem predetermined to an answer but I don't recall a stance yet.

Feel good about Hallia, her read through feels pretty transparent,

I'm not feeling as confident about Turin as I'd like and probably want to think on it for a while. The early cases are null/townish for Turin. I think the thing that bugs me is how focused he's been on Dice/Zander, I'd expect a broader focus than this. Against that is the claim, and Turin has very much built it to him vs. Zander and I don't think that comes from mafia very often.

Dice is mixed, his vote on Turin just felt like town! Dice and some of his 'stubbornness' (that's not the word I'm looking for, but I can't think of a better one right now), but the Dice/John stuff was weird and I know he fools me tonewise when he's defending himself.

Remaining 5 is really just that I have least reason to think they're town.

I'm not sure I buy Laine's reaction to Tsuki's claim, but I could follow her catch up posts easily enough, she hasn't hit any of the town tells I trust for her yet. Don't remember much from RTE, Rey's pretty null, he seems to have dropped off, but that may just be due to the weekend, I liked his early tone/comfort level in thread, but I don't remember enough of his stances. I want to say that Niniel's level of engagement is good as is taking early stances, but I don't read her well early game. Eldrick's level of engagement is good at a surface level, but needs to be sustained before I'll trust it, need to ISO for specific stances.

ive already answered this and am in no mood to do it again so its gonna be short so make sure you remember it

he hardclaimed a town role.  automatic unvote unless ccd

he wasnt ccd  he was instead corroborated by zander

so at least one of them is town unless this is a zander gambit and i dont think it is cause i dont think he could get turin to go along with it

Possibly just being dumb because it's late but can you explain what you mean by 'he claimed a town-role'?

Neighbours can be any alignment, hence the debate

Zander, I know you have been voting Turin. But if you were town that have found someone lying that way I think you should have sticked to your case and not give it up. Now it looked like Shad found something and you agreed with it but let it go.

Huh?

I agree with most of your list there.

I have Turin higher than you do and Zander lower.

I'm also feeling good about Lenlo, Hally and Shad.

I feel you have Tsuki separated because of the claim (you didn't explain why) and I agree on that front.

Laine had a good post that sticks out to me in my mind, and has her as town for me, but I really need to see more from her to maintain that view.

I think there's a good chance there's a scum in Nini, Rey, RTE just because they are comparatively lower on the list than everyone else.

Feeling ok about you right now, BFG. Good catchup and reads list.

He claimed Neighbor, which is not a town role. It is an unaligned role. Mafia/3p neighbors will claim to be town too. You actually went on about being skeptical about their alignment, not wanting there to be a cop view on the matter for fear of GF Neighbor. I don't like the fact that you immediately assumed he was town from it, being you were sussing him.

I agree that he looks better for it since his discussion, but I don't like your 180,

Why do you think scum!Dice would be more likely to protest a lynch on Turin/Zander if they're v/v, under the circumstances?

Laine is consistently my hardest read :/

Tsuki's mostly the claim, I didn't have a strong read on him before the claim; I disagreed with most of his early points, but liked the fact that he was making them if that makes sense? I don't recall much of him beyond that though, so would probably have him in the lowest group without the claim.

I think I may be premature but I am pretty sure I'm right that Z is mafia and I don't think I wanna let this go today. You can lynch me for it if you want.

HARDCLAIM: DANA BARRETT- TOWN NEIGHBOR

Zander has hinted at being Louis Tully(aka Keymaster/Vinz Clortho: Minion of Gozer) although he has refused to tell me in our QT this or much else. My initial Zander suspicion was in that he initially posted as Secret Person there. His first or second post there was that I must be mafia otherwise we would be listed as masons. That this was his only thought was very troubling as MODS specifically have the mechanic of Neighbors to create a level of mistrust. He has been closed off there and I believe it is to keep from giving any info to the town. He has all of 7 posts there since the game started. I expressed my belief that Dice is mafia before he did there. That was about the last thing he said to me. I think Town Zander looks to work me to try to get info out of me that he can then use to catch me if he truly thinks I'm mafia. That he seems to be ignoring me there speaks volumes IMO. Okay on to the Z quotes ITT:

Yes, I could be making this up but  I'm not.

I do see Dice's progression on Turin

So i do stand corrected on that.

He had been pushing Dice as mafia and now he is saying that he sees his progression(fancy word). Feels like a vote coming up.

I still dont like Dice's easy read on me tho.

But for now.

[v] unvote [/v]

[v] Turin [/v]

I don't like this vote. I'll have to go check, but I don't remember you having a problem with turin.

You saw dice's progression on him, and felt better about dice, but now you're also suddenly convinced Turin is the way to go?

tumblr_mdk9oh9i2X1rhxd21o1_500.gif

lmk what you come up with

There is the vote. Eldrick comments that he doesn't like the vote and does some research about it. FWIW I don't see Eldrick making this post as wolf unless he is getting coached up pretty hard in the QT.

The GIF is also a hint at his character...

I'm fairly sure ATP that Zander and Turin aren't w/w

Still think that Zander is town. Still not a strong read.

i'm not convinced by the reasons for Turin to be scum, but I haven't seen anything particularly towny from him either, so he's null.

Turin's like one of those neighbors you just dont think you can trust.

Bold is another hint.

[v] Dice [/v]

I don't like he kept his "joke" vote on Rey even after he seems to have a lean on John. Well he called him a hypocrite anyway.

This was his reason.

If you are talking about the ghost thing, Turin started that.

I wasnt talking about the Ghost part it was the issue of not liking the feeling from the post which iirc I mentioned first.

Am I wrong on this?

Technically yes, you used those words first. But under the pretense that ghost=bad, him suggesting that dice was calling himself a ghost was the first suspicion.

No I didnt like the at the wolves or to the wolves part he said.  Felt forced or disingenuous imo.

But this may be pointless back and forth.  It was just something I noticed.

look at the way this goes. Eldrick comes out with evidence that I didn't sheep Z onto Dice.

Z tries to reframe the conversation saying it wasn't about claiming ghost but "something else".

Eldrick replies correctly that the suspicion comes from being a bad ghost and that it looked suspicious.

Z tries again to reframe. then ejects backing away to make it be just something he noticed.

Z, you still think I was sheeping you? I know you don't but just come clean and let everyone else know too.

[unvote]

[v] Zander [/v]

Still okay with lynching Dice. Zander is outted to me now tho.

Morning

Zander's early seriousness is probably a good look for him?

And I like Dice's tone on this page, but it's all defence so I'm not sure how indicative it is of anything

Would you say he jokes longer before diving in as scum?

Pretty much. Zander can joke around or be serious as either alignment, but I think he's more likely to joke for longer as mafia

Doesn't jive with my memory of his scum games, but I can't be arsed to go check right now.
