"Miss Comrade, you must do me a small favor. You must speak to the Czar. You must tell him that if he wants me to give as much grain as Ivan, he must lend me a mule. I would give him anything for another mule! My daughters--I am cursed with three. They are all fine cooks, and quite beautiful. The queen, she is old, no? I will give the Czar one daughter for a mule."

Judging by the woman's cold stare, this was getting nowhere. What fool emperor would leave a woman to manage his affairs, anyway? Boris had to try a different approach.

Natasha scribbled furiously in her notebook. This village was rife with bourgeois wreckers and saboteurs. How else could the peasants be so uninformed? The local priest surely had a hand in it, and this... Ivan. A kulak, no doubt, he would be the first to go. And after a long talk with the NKVD, he would sell out his capitalist colleagues like the anti-revolutionary coward he was. As for Boris, relocation to a kolkhoz would set him straight. He had potential. Base and vulgar, perhaps--it was nothing a little reeducation couldn't set straight. His days of being downtrodden and oppressed were over. His son was another story. Failed to feed the mule, did he? Negligence? Doubtful. The kulak Ivan surely had a hand in this too...

9. This is a basic, open set-up. There will be 1 Seer with an n0 peek, 9 vanilla towns, and 3 mafia Goons. There will be no posting in thread during the night phase, beginning approximately 30 minutes after a lynch result is revealed.
