Dice openly told us in Matrix Maf QT to bus him.

 

So Im not ruling out that is something that could be happening here.

This could come back to bite me in the ass hard one day, but I sincerely do not believe Cory ever goes full Zander to the point of making his scum mate an absolute unavoidable locked in D1 lynch.  It would be a stupid gamble.  Cory is not stupid.  Dice flips scum, Cory is town.  I don't back down from this unless a whole bunch of fishy things happen after that.  (Who am I kidding; I'll always tinfoil on him, but there'll be a pretty strong counter argument checking me.)

 

 

Tina he has straight up Town reading number 1 Towny.  In Matrix I was his # 1 Towny and he just was like Zanders never a wolf and just straight up rode that all game.

Cory's initial hesitance to lock Tina in was one of my biggest concerns with him, actually, because I thought she was really obvious without needing to research, while he had to check other games first, and he's our resident Tina reader.  It still bugs me a little, though I can see town reasons for it that aren't worth getting into right now.  If he's scum and has a Matrix Zander equivalent, it's probably Hallia,

 

But it's not a thing until it's a thing.  Something to make a note of and not revisit unless I need to.

Wow this game really jumped ahead while I was sleeping. I apologize again, I intended to get online after work but I hadn't slept in 30+ hours and ended up sleeping in my car for a bit before driving home. ANYWAYS good morning, I haven't read the last 30 pages and skimmed pieces of the game before that so I might need a few to be caught up and current.

 

General impressions from what I've read so far:

Town:

Cory, Darthe, Hally, Zander, Tina, Calder, Shad

 

Feeling meh:

Sooh, Verb, Dice,

Cory and Darthe solidified town, never lynching them this game but I'm pretty sure they're self resolving at this point. Cory for being an obvious villager and getting Dice lynched and Darthe for being pretty transparent himself and overall I've liked his actions this game. Zander is still a town read unless hell freezes over. He was also on Dice and seems to be town but I do have a little bit of tinfoil there that I need to get over. Tina is probably town, I've always had a little bit of trouble reading her but from the posts I've read, nothing is sticking out to me and quite a bit of it looks good; this coupled with maybe a little sheeping of my top towns puts her this high when she probably normally would not be. Overall good feelings there though.

Calder is Calder, nothing is sticking out to me about him and for some reason I feel good about his slot? I'm not 100% there and might want to ISO him but he's in my town reads for now. Hally: liked her activity and catch up posts from what I've seen she's been trying to make connections and feels town.

Shaddddd is ???. No but seriously I think he's town. But I'm hesitant putting him any higher right now because I struggle a bit reading him. ISO target. I remember him being very active and involved at start of game and liking his posts but I also remember he can pull that as a wolf too so I need to go back and remind myself a bit of his actions early game.

 

Thane/Turin null. I don't remember reading any of Thane's posts yet and Turin needs to be looked at for that DADV post because it's bugging me a little bit with Dice flipping wolf. Sooh and Verbal down there through POE and some tone things with Sooh. Verbal I haven't seen really contribute to the game so he's at the bottom for that reason as well even though I know he's asked for a sub.

 

I think this list is a little consensusy but that's mainly because most of the work was done by the time I got here. =/

I know that's not helpful and there's nothing you can do about it, but IDK, just letting you know what's going on in my head.

Calder made a good point earlier about the whole you/Zander thing, even if it was sort of a dumb thing, being the thing that really became a goldmine of information for how people reacted to it and then the game got going for real.

 

Dice got tripped up there and never got out of it. I think there's a good shot that's where Verbal slipped up too, though we're ultimately waiting on a sub for that slot.

 

I also sincerely hope you don't still feel the way; for the sake of transparency I want to make a point to say that if anyone thinks I was clearing Zander and Shad early because they're people I get along with well that I've really pained and struggled to read both of them all game and kept my notes on them going past the usual point where I go "x is a villager" or "y is a wolf":

While he could obviously post it as a wolf, from experience people who do stuff like this tend to be villagers. Something about how “starting off lying to someone directly” isn’t the usual wolf approach, and there’s no reason he has to mention it as a wolf.

+ (#22) Like this as well. This is after his first bit, so I feel like the continuation is genuine for him and I kind of doubt he’d be excited to wolf in this game. Again, small stuff, but let’s see if it keeps building up.

+ (#153) Good response. Feel like Wolf!Shad fabricates a read or two here. Looks like his gears are turning but he’s not confident enough to say anything, which is fine.

I still really want to win this game, but things get more conflicted for me on a personal level when I have to think "well, how can I do that without upsetting anyone".

 

I am going to try and change my approach - not just this game, but in the future - for the sake of the game. I don't want anyone to feel like there's in or out groups or any cognitive biases or anything out of the game that changes the content of the game itself besides players posting and making reads from posts.

I think Dice talks out-of-game issues as scum precisely because he does it as town.  It's safe.  More the lack of anything else to comment on that's concerning imo.

 

Like this is a really, really, really good post from Shad about Dice. This is exactly why Dice was scum and this was before he was buried.

I would apologize for just dropping in now. But that was a horrible read so i say we are even.

 

Dice is most likely to be scum from the read. Not bc of the defense being fishy or anything, but that for me it feels like exactly what scumCalder would want to defend. Sooh's posting felt obv non game related and not indicative, so as scum i would want to be on the side to call people out for not seeing that.

I feel like it was an iffy/oddly offputting personal conversation that townies just try to avoid rather than bother talking about to long. Bc it isnt going to lead to a lynch. Could be wrong, but didnt think a defense was required and think a townie doesnt put in the effort.

I already like Calder in this game.

I am not sure if it makes sense that they are any shade of green at all at this point if this is all you're seeing about them.
