Last couple games I played with Verb, he seemed more vague and slow to start.

This time he seems to be more involved.

Something Im gonna be watching for sure.

Red, he certainly did in Chrono Trigger, and I had a pretty strong (incorrect) scum read on him for it.  I already feel better about this Verbal, and I'm not going to take that difference as a bad thing.

My first two games with him I read him correctly immediately (town, scum respectively), and I've struggled ever since.  I dunno.

So you say, you see him playing differently then his Town game and you think thats not a bad thing or something to be alarmed about???

Stop. Focusing. On. The. Zander. Sooh. Thing.

Make. Some. Goddamn. Reads.

Cory you know Dice likes to get bogged down in mechanics and non game related stuff to avoid commenting on game related stuff as which alignment again.....

So stop going on about that topic and not let him talk about it. Agree to disagree. Move on. You obviously are mafia reading him for it. He is hung up on arguing it with you because it is a personal issue for him. The sooner it gets squashed the sooner he will be forced to talk about other things.

Stop beating that dead horse.

Dont tell me what to do cause thats not gonna do anything other then have you waste your own time.

Ill bring up what i want to cause it relates to my case against Dice. Same for anyone else for that matter.

Theres been a hell of a lot more to talk about and this is all Dice is bringing up for the most part.

4. Zander: now leaning town- I think he was just mad at Sooh and then at Dice wrt that situation and I think it coloured his reads and set him a bit of bias.

This is a weird thing to say.

Like, "I disagree with his reasons, but I think they're honest" is a normal observation.

This is more discrediting. It's laced with a deeper defense of Sooh and Dice than is necessary to convey the point: like, there is now no reason to explain why Zander's argument was bad, because Zander had no real argument to begin with. He was just angry.

I don't know if that's just Turin's way of speaking or if there's something to it.

Or maybe I'm just missing something. :\

Im pretty sure I touched on exactly this earlier iirc

Correct.

This is a silly example because it's nothing even close to this level of disparity, but:

You see town!Hallia go "hi I think x and y are town" "lol" "I agree" "ok" "I don't think so" for six games.

Then you see town!Hallia crush it Belichick/GnD style.

Do you suss her for being different?  Really?

This is the wrong person to address.

Dice has 32 pages of content to respond to and is specifically choosing to only discuss that in the face of everything else.

Zander's allowed to follow up his thoughts. Zander's doing many other things besides following his conversation with Dice. You don't blame Zander for that.

that's lawyer talk and not what I was thinking. I say exactly what I think. I'm not in any way trying to discredit zander here. IMO he is an emotional person and player. I think he will say the same.

He had an argument but it is based on out of game things IMO. His following up on Dice just feels like an extension of the original push on Sooh.

I'm not really interesTed in arguing this point because like I recently said I.think it is a dead horse. I still have Z as town, but he seems misguided to date.

I'm out for the night now. I will try to get computer out in morning and respond to the rest of my questioners. Plus the pages that will be added by then.

Good night.

My current Hallia read is because I feel I read her quite well.

The fact youre even questioning me on this when you know exactly how much I rely on Meta is quite alarming imo.

Shad looks fine in ISO. Comp'd this game to World's End and Friends. The post Darthe mentioned is his best post and Darthe pointing it out is a big deal.

Not as strong as it was because Shad's wolfgame in a vacuum is decent enough to not make it obvious, but my notepad read (which I trust even as I'm trying to look at him from a different angle) was a confident one and there's nothing that detracted from that.

He deserves the blue.

Going to keep at it. I don't know who to do next, so next person to call out a name gets it.

We're having a weird moment. I don't know what to make of it.

I don't think that Verbal looking more towny than I'm used to is concerning. I [am unfamiliar with the stuff about something], so don't even bother me with that. I read D1 of Chrono Trigger thoroughly.

What is your issue?

That you said that Verb playing differently from his Town game that you last saw is not bad or alarming.

This my issue.

Here is something Darthe said as a villager:

I banged you and it was awesome

There isn't really anything I wanted to discuss about it, I just wanted to post it.

I don't understand why I got brought up there, we're you using me,and an example, or was there a question hidden there?

I dunno but he used you so I responded...but you can see what he has to say.

oh yes i just made that read. oh yeah.

His posts this game are salient and focused and his reads are complex. Read through the Ancients game and Darthe has has weird little wolf impact but generally is floaty and more distant from the game mentally. There's no depth to his reads.

Here he engages quickly. I think he knows the difference himself - I remember him questioning my questioning of his start.

He's actually been absurdly villagery from the moment he got in here until now.

Okay my brain & Rube Goldberg need a break and food, so I'll be back later.

I think Darthe needs to go back to the Jeff Goldblum avatar, imo. If you read all of his posts like they're coming from a Jeff Goldblum avatar, you begin to truly understand Darthe.
