I actually don't really wanna lynch Eldrick or lily or nyn right now. I COULD, but I don't feel that's the best course of action. Also pral, kinda null but not scummy. BG and BFG are both iffy. The others can be burned with fire.

Why do you have Eldrick on this list?

this is a followup to saying zander is my only sure town. The rest of you could be scum easily. But I'm not convinced those at the top line I listed are. Eldrick, mainly benefit of the doubt and improved tone.

How are you sure Z is town? So if everyone else can be mafia for you why can't they be for me as well?

Who would you.not lynch.over yourself? The vote is tied and you aren voting. You vote yourself or you vote the other person? It is as simple as that.

 

The fact there is time on the clock today is less relevant because there has Benn.literally no.motion on anyone else all day. You have heard of DADV? (dead air dead villager). It doesn't just apply to talk.it applies to votes. Basically no.one has voted or moved anywhere all day. No additional trains have.been pushed by.anyone other than myself. What does tat usually.mean. mafia is happy with my lynch. town should not.be happy with what mafia is happy about.

Okay so yeah, I said sure. But there's no way to KNOW that he's town without a peek or a flip. But I also don't want to overwhelm myself by looking at everyone in the game at once and thinking they all could be wolves. That's not efficient. So we have this tool we use, called POE. Means you create a town core, those you believe are least likely to be town. From this town core, you can narrow down your suspects and figure out who remaining could be scum. I think this is a rather efficient tool, that keeps me from literally casing everyone in the game. Sure, we have to eventually take into account deep wolves, but whatever, apparently they're doing something right if they're a deep wolf and eventually we'll be able to find them. But no, I can't be sure about anyone but myself. But I'm also not going to LYNCH someone that I BELIEVE is town. What's the point in that? Vote who you think is scum, who has the equity to be scum, and that's that. Why is this such a hard thing to do?

 

As for the bold: Hopefully I've done my job well enough that I'm not choosing between townie myself and townie other?? Hopefully the town isn't so crappy at THEIR job that they allow two townie trains to build up every day so that everyone only has the choice of townie vs townie. HOPEFULLY people decide for themselves who they want to vote and who they think has the most potential to be scum that they're not just following the town masses for hopes that things will work out at the end of the day. When you follow people blindly, there's the potential you're following a wolf, obviously.

 

But seriously, your cases on other people haven't convinced me enough to take my vote off of you. Sure I'm not being totally active in the game like I usually am because I have no WIM left to put into this thing but I'm still reading and keeping up enough to make decisions on who to vote and who not to vote.

I honestly don't know what to say at this point. If I'm wrong again, then I suck at this game and that is that. But I'd choose making a stand over being afraid of being wrong any day so.... *shrugs* I dunno.

Now that you are pretty confident this lynch is going thru you have doubts of finally thinking you could be wrong but unwilling to do anything about. Ques the "whelp, I was wrong but he was scummy" line for post flip. It would be really funny if it wasn't so tragic. Just please look at these posts of Z lily and Nyn. At least 1 wolf here. Why isn't Thane around?

Thane is getting a bloody headache reading through the thread. The honest impression i am getting here is that, even when Turin or Pral make good points, you (meaning you, Zander and Laine) basically gun those points down and want to convince everybody that you're absolutely right. Basically that made catching up after a no-computer-day no fun to read at all. I love the three of you as people, i really do, but the attitude, i have to say, could be dimmed a bit in the game.

 

That having been posted, I still think we should go Eldrick over Turin today. CFD if you like, and you'll have a wolf *nods*

 

On the other hand, i don't think my opinion is being viewed that highly this game. I just know that, if Turin would flip town, then it'd be likely that there's at least one wolf among the three of you, working with the others. That's what I think and the genuine impression that i got from reading the last couple of pages..

I think i talked about him some time ago, so trying to do this from memory. Mafia with kids crawling over you is not easy.

 

Impression i get is that his voting is off. It's too easy going, he's coasting along, not getting a lot of attention because he's not generally going against the flow or speaking up. He's flying along low level, and that to me is an alarmbell for him. Not getting the 'i'm town and want to solve' vibe from him. I know he's voting me, so I know it sounds a bit OMGUS-ish, but really... he should be getting more attention this game. Feeling worse about him than anybody else at this point.

Thane is looking better for me today too, despite the fact that he suspects me. I am able to look past that and see that he's improving.

 

He's still low on my list comparatively, but only because of town reads on other players. I'm as confident about lily and pral not being scum as I am thane at this point.

 

That being said, I don't know what I was thinking having my vote on thane instead of turin. Mafia 101, vote your strongest scum lean. That's been Turin today.

 

Voting Thane for the sake of a counter train is a horrible reason, and it took me a while to realize it.

Alanna, I replaced into a slot that was the defacto lynch for today based on someone else's actions. I believe that my literal first post in this slot was to claim and state the circumstances. Even willing to be one of the trains for the day. I got met with derision and more votes and no one looking anywhere else with any serious intensity. If no one is looking to do the town thing then I can't really think anyone is obvious town from my POV. At that point.my job as a town player is to try to survive and at worst give town the most information I can. That is what I have done. No one seems to.be listening As no counter train built in the past two days. Now the pushers are putting out feels that allow them to try to shirk the responsibility for their votes and actions today. The least I can do.for my town is point them.out as I die.
