Comparing Laine to her scum games today leaves me feeling even better about her.  Pral I couldn't find enough recent older content to go on.  Really want to hear where he goes post-Kaylee flip.

 

The differences Wish has been observing between Celeste's town and scum games accurately reflect distinctions between this game and Ragnarok.  More examples to go on would be nice, but at the same time I know Wish isn't just making things up at random.  Celeste/Wish w/w requires an odd bit of planning where Celeste tweaks her behavior from Ragnarok so Wish can give it a bold meta-based town read on a site where no one is guaranteed to actually go verify this and the whole business could draw a lot of suspicion.  What Celeste would have to tweak, well, it would be relatively simple to do, but if a wider range of examples shows that she doesn't do it, she's probably town.

 

Need to verify that, and I want to look at Wish and Cass more tomorrow.

 

Will I actually find time/motivation to do half of what I want to?   No.

Thoughts: Nolder didn't seem super involved at the beginning of the game, think the question about the baseball player and cowboy was useless, I hated his overreaction about the Pralaya thing, but if Pral truly is mafia, I don't see teammate Nolder going at him from day one like that unless he REALLY REALLY hates inactives and just wants to off a teammate like a jerk. I CAN see mafia!Nolder targeting town!Pral or v/v though. But I doubt it's v/v

 

I'm still finding it super odd how he was townreading Lenlo and me at the beginning and wouldn't reveal his reads until pressed and then how Csarmi shot to the top of his list for his catchup posts (?). I still don't understand how Pralaya gets the book thrown at him even though he's making an effort but Csarmi is at the top of Nolder's list. Gut is not a good reason either. He made such a big deal about Pralaya, and he eventually did adjust his read on him, which looks good. I'm still convinced that voting Pizza was an attempt at a distraction from Zander/Csarmi at that point.

@CELESTE did you ever case Nolder based on your findings in Rustlemania? I only glanced at it today, looked at BFG AoL a bit more so I don't know what you got there.

2) We are idiots. And yes I am going to use we. Because this is a team game. I knew there was no reason not to hammer but Nomi was going on about reading more and his little remark about me "having the hammer" didn't help either. That's on me. Nomi has to take responsibility for leading you all astray and you all have to take responsibility for letting him. Team game. We mislynched. Now, you can lie to yourself and pretend it didn't happen for the reasons it did and pretend those who are responsible aren't while trying to shame me for acknowledging our mistakes and threatening to lynch me for rightfully calling a mistake a mistake OR you can suck it up and realize that while you may not like me this game for whatever reason we are going to lose if we keep lynching the wrong people. Let's just turn this around a bit. How would you analyze this if you consider me as town? In that case, was there no scum on Kaylee?

 

I know your read on me. But, I am trying to look at it with the additional knowledge I have (my own alignment). It could be very much possible that Kaylee was a largely/completely town led lynch. Given the speed with which it happened, I don't see the need for scum to jump on it/off.

Pizza- Feel like hes really On The Ball and making solid observations though he's capable of doing this as either alignment I do feel though, not exactly, that he is playing somewhat similar to NBC. I also have been feeling like we are on a similar wavelength as far as what we are both seeing and that's certainly a positive.

Len- Len has been involved and engaging and speaking his mind. I like the tone and what he's seeing and commenting on. I think he's capable of fooling me as he's been getting better and better each game but as of yet I dont think that he actually is.

 

Kaylee-  Would be in my top Greens as shes been pretty much mind melding with me.  But only draw back is Ive only seen her Scum game that I can remember so i dont really know her Town Meta.  Still feel pretty good about this read.

Alanna-  This is mostly a Gut/Meta read but I feel like shes much more relaxed and confident then she would be as Scum.  I also dont feel like shes forcing her reads or comments   This may be a little weird but honestly the fact she's even mentioned shes wary of me makes me feel a little better about her as well.

 

Cass-  No Meta to base her off of.  She has been really engaged and looking at many different people and things.  My one thing against her was like Ive mentioned, it is how I perceived she approached me at the start of the game.

Shad- Shad hasnt really done anything I don't feel like he couldnt do as Scum but he's certainly playing differently then he did in World's End though I know that was an off game for him due to RL stuff.

Nol- Really would be straight null except i really liked his response to me when i asked him to comment on stuff.  Im obv not the best Nol reader as i was wrong in World's End and NBC.

 

Pralaya- Hasnt posted anything.  Need to see something.

Csarmi-  It's Csarmi....hasnt posted anything really to make me get a read on him either way.  Need to see more.

 

Turrin- Think his vote and Shad was really weak and reaching.  Hasnt seemed OVERLY involved in the game atp.

 

Celeste/Penny- Hated the timing of unvote at some pressure when confronted about it.  Find her interaction with my top scum read very awkward.  Think shes overacting and defensive and had an AtE post with her reaction to being mislynched with 0 votes on her....

 

Wish/Lenny-  Keeps going on about Gut Read but told us shes all about using her brain.  Her interaction with Penny as ive mentioned is very awkward.  Her title defense responses concerning "how can you read me when you can't get my name right" was a little OMGUS maybe the word/term I'm looking for.

Looking at this read list (Green is my town lean).

 

Interesting that all his town leans are either town confirmed or who I think are townies. Alanna is probably a townie too, at this point

Another tell for Celeste being town is her scum reading me. That's something I expect, because she's a lot more uncertain of herself as town and also absolutely can't read me. ;)

Kind of interesting that Celeste challenges the whole narrative on which Celeste/Wish/Shad built on later.

I'll be honest and admit I don't really know what her motive would be here. It's the fact that it doesn't make sense that stands out to me.

It's a silly question that's unrelated to the game there's no real reason not to give it a quick answer and move on.

Think about when you're town. There's two feelings that drive your gameplay. One is, of course, the desire to catch and lynch scum to win the game. The other is to identify and be identified by other townies. When you talk to someone don't you want to signal to them? Show them what a good townie you are? I know I do and it's hard for me to imagine that no one else feels this way. Celeste isn't displaying those qualities. She neither pursues the WIFOM thing (thinking I'm scum) nor does she answer the question and try to signal her towniness. She acknowledged the post because she felt like she had to since I used big bold words and then she moved on.

 

If it helps you guys I'm not really an early game player so all I have are my gut reads and observations until a flip happens.

She's not an early game player so it's ok if she just sheeps and/or mislynches.

All she has are gut reads so don't question her or ask for more.

You're going to have to help me a bit. I like winning, and I'm town, and when I'm town I tend to get my way more often than not, for better or worse, so it's pretty important that I figure you out.  Give me examples.  Point to specifics that you did not like.  Help me understand whether your suspicions are sincere or just a lazy out.

I prefer to just work in the current game. I try not to swayed meta if possible. I can't blame you for not being sure since I'm in same boat, but at least give a few names you're less sure of.

 

Look at my reads list, I don't really have strong scum reads. Let me ask you this then Do I look uniformed or informed in my posts?

 

Town reading townies is easy, they're actually town and you know it.

Scum reading townies is harder. First of all they're not scum and second you'll piss them off and catch their attention.

Better to just town read everyone for as long as possible.

 

Turin said he would be around yesterday right? Then why did he claim now when deadline is tomorrow and he said he would be around?

Casting doubt on the claim by proxy. She's not going to come out and doubt the claim because that could backfire later but casting doubt on it by questioning the timing would go unnoticed at least for awhile.

Laine hasn't done anything wrong, per se, but I've got too many people high on my list for her to be dark green.

 

Using your scale she should be light green imo. If she's a wolf that might explain why I'm struggling so damned hard.
