Pizza- Feel like hes really On The Ball and making solid observations though he's capable of doing this as either alignment I do feel though, not exactly, that he is playing somewhat similar to NBC. I also have been feeling like we are on a similar wavelength as far as what we are both seeing and that's certainly a positive.

Len- Len has been involved and engaging and speaking his mind. I like the tone and what he's seeing and commenting on. I think he's capable of fooling me as he's been getting better and better each game but as of yet I dont think that he actually is.

 

Kaylee-  Would be in my top Greens as shes been pretty much mind melding with me.  But only draw back is Ive only seen her Scum game that I can remember so i dont really know her Town Meta.  Still feel pretty good about this read.

Alanna-  This is mostly a Gut/Meta read but I feel like shes much more relaxed and confident then she would be as Scum.  I also dont feel like shes forcing her reads or comments   This may be a little weird but honestly the fact she's even mentioned shes wary of me makes me feel a little better about her as well.

 

Cass-  No Meta to base her off of.  She has been really engaged and looking at many different people and things.  My one thing against her was like Ive mentioned, it is how I perceived she approached me at the start of the game.

Shad- Shad hasnt really done anything I don't feel like he couldnt do as Scum but he's certainly playing differently then he did in World's End though I know that was an off game for him due to RL stuff.

Nol- Really would be straight null except i really liked his response to me when i asked him to comment on stuff.  Im obv not the best Nol reader as i was wrong in World's End and NBC.

 

Pralaya- Hasnt posted anything.  Need to see something.

Csarmi-  It's Csarmi....hasnt posted anything really to make me get a read on him either way.  Need to see more.

 

Turrin- Think his vote and Shad was really weak and reaching.  Hasnt seemed OVERLY involved in the game atp.

 

Celeste/Penny- Hated the timing of unvote at some pressure when confronted about it.  Find her interaction with my top scum read very awkward.  Think shes overacting and defensive and had an AtE post with her reaction to being mislynched with 0 votes on her....

 

Wish/Lenny-  Keeps going on about Gut Read but told us shes all about using her brain.  Her interaction with Penny as ive mentioned is very awkward.  Her title defense responses concerning "how can you read me when you can't get my name right" was a little OMGUS maybe the word/term I'm looking for.

I unvoted because it was a joke vote. Is it really that scummy to you guys? A joke vote is simply for entertainment and reaction testing.

 

This is pretty much the best answer you can give in the scenario.  A good proper null statement.

 

The why did you unvote/not unvote box can be obnoxious.  It's a damned if you do damned if you don't scenario that I find myself in almost every game because I wield my vote unconventionally.  I don't think it's the sort of thing that can resolve on a "town" answer, but it can potentially lead to excessive sussed-for-the-wrong-reason frustration from wolves.  (I think I personally reacted more abrasively to it as scum last game than I ever have as town.)

 

Unfortunately, a lot of towns don't get that and will take a "/shrug get over it" response as scummy rather than null.

I seem to be at a point in Mafia where I'm pretty much stuck in perpetual catch-up mode until that small window between about 1am and 3am when my kid's asleep and I'm not.  I'm not over-eager for 100 page phases these days.

@ Cass, I would say that Lenlo posting in that manner is completely null for him (1). Also too early for it to mean anything about Shad as they were basically the only two in thread at that time (2).

In that particular jokey exchange I would expect Len to be exactly the same in either alignment. He loves to have fun with the other players even if it makes him potentially look bad. The fun is (or at least was) more important to him. That is why I said it is completely null.

 

Now if at a later time he tries to use that read as valid then I would find him most suspicious.

 

 

 

You havent played in awhile Turrin...are you familiar with Len's current style?  Ive only played with him since he's come back and every game he keeps getting better and better and Ive seen him as Town, Scum and 3rd party.  I think you need to make sure you factor his evolution as an even better player into your read of him.

 

But do you disagree with anything Turin said here?

I know you do that Z, but this time when calling it out it felt defensive, rather than offensive. When you call people out for doing scummy things you go at them. Your are taking what feels off and going on the offensive with it. That instance though felt more defensive in nature and was off to me.

 

Ok i dont hate that you feel that way.  But Cass and I know each other a fair bit from away from DM and I'm a little surprised and off put my the way she jumped in concerning me and her REASONING for what she was calling out like awkward and forced.  Like look at it this way.  I dont really think anyone else felt that way concerning my posts.  I havent played with Cass before so i have no real Meta on her and you know Im a Meta/Gut read player.  i need to know where shes coming from so I can judge the difference between ENFP traits and legit questions/concerns/paranoia or if theres an ulterior motive for it if that makes sense to you?
