The following day the town, tired of waiting went looking for the prime evils. There trails led them to the catacombs. Lvl 4.

 

After surpassing numerous traps, and monsters they had finally reached the chamber.

 

Diablo bursts down the door yelling!

"More meat for the table"

 

The were lucky to catch diablo by himself, however it's no easy task as he swiped half the party knocking them against the wall. Knowing he is outnumbered diablo picked one person and took them to the shadow realm.

 

The others waited, and as a flashed appeared so did both bodies with only one left alive.

His army of skeletons hacking at the prime evil Baal, one of our heroes slowly waited and stirred. Baal's health bar was almost at 0. The hero tried to quell his anticipation.

 

Maybe he'll drop a shako, he thought to himself, I've always wanted a shako.

 

He didn't even notice his own health bar was running low. Victory was at hand. Suddenly, Baal's health bar emptied. The beast disappeared. But no loot was left behind.

 

"What the f-"

 

Suddenly, our hero felt a tap at his shoulder.

 

There was the Lord of Destruction.

 

"You know that I can clone myself, noob?

 

I remember my first Baal run."

 

An appendage went straight through our hero's heart. Game over, man. No respawns.

 

Shadooh was nightkilled. He was...

Can someone do me a solid and ask Clov to take me off ignore now? Tell him I know I was ticking him off and it was intentional as it was the only way I knew of to keep the two of us alive until today. He's been pretty obviously Town since Day 1 but he was obstructing my righteous Bender lynch.

Pral and Thane? Maybe Tress? I don't know. Tress has me fairly thoroughly pocketed. She didn't go hard in the paint on the Yates defense until after my claim so a buddy attempt is obviously not off the table. But I want her to be Town because...

I want to put NotBob in there too but I know he can't be mechanically cleared and knowing Zander was a wolf you know the bus move is *always* in play. If the real cop has a clear on any of NB, Pral, or Thane you can claim now because this game is over.

Also, Pral choosing the Clov vote over Bender when I was clearly hinting that my "peek" was on Bender but keeping open the option it was on Clov was pretty gross. So he's almost lock scum #2.

I've got half an hour or so before I have to get ready for work - the plan for today, before work and for a good while after methinks, is to sift through Bender posts (almost 300 total).  Aside from the DrunkZander, and once their lynch became inevitable, there may be some useful things there.

 

As it stands right now:

 

BFG - seer hunt clear per AJ

Dice - seer hunt clear per Shad

Taborline - seer hunt clear per Shad

 

Yates - if I was the seer, he was my N1 peek.  Because yeah, that's what I do.  But regardless, he's town.  If Bender had flipped town, I still would feel the same - I can't see Mafia!Yates fake claiming cop to mislynch a townie on D2.  Fake claiming cop to force the lynch of a teammate would be... a level of illogical that I don't see Yates dropping to without a brain tumor being involved.

Clov - Tricksy Clov is tricksy.  But also almost certainly town.

Yates point about Pral setting up the twofer isn't bad at all. My thinking about notbob was the insinuation he didn't read d1 and some how still thought Zander was scummy. But not until Len was leading iirc (and I night not, I'll check later)

third: wow there, hold yer horses. I know i haven't been active throughout the weekend (i hardly am in any game), and now I'm in the POE here? I worked saturday, put up christmas deco on sunday and enjoyed some family time which is precious to me. More precious than a game. 

 

What really hurt my head during the reread were the huge posts with unspoilered quotes. There's a lot of focus on Yates, Bender, and then some Clov, but everybody else nearly goes by unnoticed. Which is dangerous. Jumping to POE's at this point might just lose this for town. Please not another Matrix, ok? 

I'll be peeking in some, ready to reply to some questions if you have any (still need to cook and feed the kiddos).

Bender was already on Lenlo. So if NotBob is scum he is counting on either Pral or Tress to be the deciding vote as his scum mate? Or just really really hoping Clov will switch off Tab?

Blech. This might actually be a derp clear.

 

Basically, I think Pral looks the worst by a fairly wide margin. If you want to lynch NotBob before Thane I don't think anyone will argue that order. Tress goes last and I think this game is locked.  But I think that vote count looks pretty bad for Thane without digging too deep.

About 20% through Besie ISO - and it's time to get ready for work. I will at least finish hers tonight.  Zander I can't promise, but Besie might be a better bet to find spew anyway since she's new to this, and is more likely to be clumsy in handling teammates/pushing mislynches.

 

Anyone who can actually spend time on mafia while at work who wants to tackle the LOLOLOLOLs, I will bless you forever
