These were my notes from during the night, which I will have to re-evaluate a bit in the light of AJ not being Seer:

 

Shad, Bender, Yates.

 

I had Bender in my dark green yesterday, mainly from feeling good about Besie’s confidence, but I’m wondering.

 

The conversation between Shad and Bender on pages 10/11 looks staged. Shad doesn’t seem to be giving the same scrutiny in his posts this time around, but explains that away early saying that last time he said too much, so now he’s going to be more cautious.

 

Besie’s coming in and saying Shad/Sooh is town struck me as odd. As a new player, I would imagine she was told to say this by Zander, as would a new player be familiar with Seer cover? (I wasn’t, though I admit I am more oblivious than most, but others needed it pointed out too). Why would Zander tell Besie to say it, and not say it himself? This, coupled with Shad’s change in behaviour and cover for his change in behaviour, stands out.

 

Plus, there’s Shad’s going for Lenlo earlier than others.

 

But Sooh/Shad's coming up as Tress' peek makes me feel bad about her as well - having two slots claim the same peek is making my head hurt.

 

Red definitely crossed my mind too, and it's something I keep coming back to.  I didn't even recognize Besie's post as seer cover at first tbh because she made it right after having a conversation with me.

 

 

 

Why is this even a question??? It's pretty obv I told her to and am trying to get her as involved in the game as I can.  I was explaining to her what it was, why we do it and why I chose who i did.  I thought the seer cover was pretty obv even if I had did it myself the post would have been the exact same.

 

 

It wouldn't have been the same, though. You posting your thought vs. Besie posting something you told her to say is not the same thing. One is a natural response, and the other feels strategic.

I'm going to have to go back through AJ's content from yesterday to see what other implications we can take from the fact that he was the kill - the first thing that comes to mind is that he was kind of a too obvious choice in my opinion, either the mafia wasn't thinking too hard about who might be seer, or felt threatened by him.  He's a force to be reckoned with as town regardless.

 

It's the weekend so after work tonight I can dig into the Yates/Bender discussion from yesterday.  If I'm the seer, I'm feeling better about Yates today.

I was reading the thread from the beginning this morning, and it was the little back and forth, and then the timing of the claim, coming from Besie. I don't think Zander was around at that moment, and so I did wonder "Why now? Why Shad? Are they (Shad and Besie) talking together outside of the thread?" It was just a weird feeling.

I'm a little stumped at the moment.  There has been a ton of attention on Yates and Clov so far this game.  I'm not keen on lynching either.  I generally feel more comfortable with Yates than Clov right now but don't think either belong much above null.  Dunno how much of that is game-related and how much is Matrix Reloaded baggage.  But if I can reasonably rule out w/w between them that's going to open some options in my mind.  I think I need to ISO with that in mind first.

To say the least, I was incredibly upset. 

 

I did NOT know about this:

 

I was experessi n g a positive read on Besie, whom I have never played with before. I said I didn't wanna lynch him cause I couldn't read him D1. If Yates is that confident though I figure what the hell, see what happens.

I'm still not a fan of what Clov has done this game or how he handled you. Thing is, it's not enough to lock scum him. At best the lowest read I have, Clov, is null to scum. So I decided to give my support to someone I think is town who is very confident in his scum read on someone.

Only played one game with her a long time back so I don't have a lot to go on.  I'd like to think Town!Tress would post more and be a little more involved.  But mostly its coming down to PoE especially cause we have 2 players not in the game at all. 

 

Tbh i wanna but I don't understand the AJ kill in the first place.  I mean he was very obv providing cover imo.
