Sorry if I'm coming off a bit obnoxious here, but assuming for a moment that Dice is scum, what are the bases he is covering?

You're not at all, it actually helps me to talk these things through. Covering himself by having the flexibility to have seen Lenlo as scum or as town.

Say Len and Dice are scum: Dice says he had Len as town previously, which would make sense if you're working together, and your post (the case on Lenlo) is a very good reason/opportunity for people to switch their choices and he takes that chance to blend in, adding that bit about it being a good mafia tactic (maybe because it IS the tactic and he slipped?)

Len is town and Dice is scum: Again, same as above, your post is a great place for people to come out and blend in, and if Len flips town, it's easy to explain away his Lenlo vote as having been convinced by your case.

Not the strongest of ideas, but a possibility.

Ok, I was asking in light of your w/w suggestion, because honestly if Dice had tried to back off of Lenlo after the post in question without pretty solid reasons it would have looked terrible. He expressed minor doubts, but he made it clear that he was committing to testing Lenlo's claim. I don't read it as leaving an out at all in that regard.

Hm...I started to type that I don't know if I believe scum!Dice would fence sit on a teammate's fake claim, based on how forward and willing to commit to against-the-grain stuff as town. But then I considered that he usually isn't as forward as mafia, so I don't know.

In either case, I think townies - as a whole - are more likely to waffle on it than mafia. I would think mafia would be more inclined to either commit to buying the claim or dismissing it?

Everyone has to commit to one or the other sooner or later, and it's not hard as scum to judge when a situation calls for uncertainty. I think the readiness with which a player commits in this sort of situation is usually more a matter of play style anyway. I think it's a more complex question of what would be out of character for a particular individual. But did you think Dice was fence sitting or are you just humoring Tab's train of thought?

I get the feeling clov is mafia but i dont know why i feel like that yet.

Was it the whole rolling with Dice "fence sitting" thing that I just quoted?

He's periodically made assumptions in this game that strike me as counterintuitive, but he's also put in more work than 90% of you without even appearing to try that hard. I'll probably never go there and if he's fooling me I'll be impressed, not embarrassed.

Lenlo, you SOB.

I'm sorry Sooh and Thane.

FECK, I thought Sooh's silence was a good sign.

You have no idea how slimey bold sounds to me.

I guess I just don't understand why her flipping town means you feel you can't be right about Thane.

I didn't say can't, I need to go back and look at it.
Sure, but apologizing before you go back and look doesn't make any sense.

Tab and Lenlo have both interacted with Thane in very strange ways.

the fact town is losing probably means a majority of clov yates and cory are wolves.

right?

I keep thinking that and slapping myself.

1 at most imo.

I get Sooh, but why Thane, Tabor?

Lenlo, you SOB.

I'm sorry Sooh and Thane.

SHAME.

Pathetic. Id i was on comp id be screaming at all 7 of u.

Oh, shut up.

i read 5 pages of content and had a better grasp of sooh than 7 other ppl. You tell me what that means?

that you should be autolynched on D1 whenever theres no good leads cause you dont read the game anyway.

Posts like this are why I think you're probably town.

Ikr even i laughed xD

I was hoping his frustration with me might mean he was town but equally likely he was annoyed on behalf of town.

I am often annoyed when the person I am deliberately mislynching flips the alignment I already know them to be.

I have no problem with dices approach to Lenlo's claim. Humoring probably isnt the rifht word - I'm trying to discern her alignment by actually engaging her. I don't feel good about her (and have really no reason to), but we can't really afford to be wrong either.

That makes sense.

Why am I the SOB? I'm telling the truth!

Choice number 2.

? Not sure what this means.

I sat there for a while and wavered between voting for Len or voting for Sooh, and I thought I was right. Hence the frustrated SOB remark.

I love how people say I'm shimmy for playing basically the same as I do every game. How yesterday would have gone if I had not have hammered:

Sooh - Stay out of thread, someone else hammer her closer to d/l

Claims VT - gets lynched because it's a VT claim vs a doc claim

People acting like this big epiphany would be happened are vastly over exaggerating
