Actually - I might keep Laine as orange for now. She's voting my peek, which isn't a good look, but perhaps I'm being too lenient on her late vote. It does look marginally good, but I have to take into account that she was forced into that position and had already pigeonholed herself into voting Crusher because she started to strongly town read Shad going into EOD. A flip there would be a huge red flag.

In my defense, it wasn't meant to be taken seriously - it was just a point for discussion.  I think anybody who had been paying attention to the game would have known right off the bat that I didn't have a innocent on Shad.

This actually is a solid point, and I did considered that after I saw the flip, but I also don't know that she wouldn't just avoid making the decision.  Thane was on with a vote to give, and there was always the possibility of someone on-wagon flipping.

 

I also don't get the thought process behind the Nolder vote if she's teammates with Crusher.  It didn't seem too likely that I was going to switch to Shad at that point IMO, so I think most people were expecting a Crusher lynch.  Why draw unnecessary attention to yourself, when you can make yourself look better by putting the nail in a teammates' coffin?

I should probably take the time to do some thorough reading over the weekend since the missus will be working most of the time, so I'll get to that eventually. I get the point you're making though.

 

I would probably have Thane as orange right now if it weren't for getting him as my N1 random peek, so knowing that he's inno, I can't fault him for being undecided. The voting activity D1 was pretty stale outside of Shad/Crusher

Preliminary glance at your ISO does confirm this. You never explicitly scum read Crusher (you had him as "gray" the last time you mentioned him) but you did say that you had Shad as town.

that's actually not what I was thinking. I thought they were both town due to lack of movement. But, that crusher had marginally more scum equity than Shad. So, instead of potentially losing shad who I was more certain of than crusher, I voted crusher.

 

As for "backing myself into the corner for a crusher vote"- I could have backed myself into the other corner easily lol

Laine, go look at calders reactions as crush started pulling close to then past shad. Also, look at the timing of where calder flipped from voting shad to pounding the drum for his lynch. On mobile so not going back, but i noted the shift while it happened and townread the hell out of him to improve my chances of surviving the night. With shad confirmed town by my peek, the conclusion is even stronger

I was beating the drum for Shad's lynch since like page 3. Even when i temporarily unvoted and then revoted for him i believe he still had more votes than Crusher without me. But, lets consider your point anyway. In your mind i pushed Shad hard to divert attention away from the growing pressure on Crusher.

 

If i am so concerned about protecting Crusher than why wouldn't i have been active at EoD. I was not on for hours prior to EoD. I had my vote on Shad and it was obvious when i left it was going to come out close and that it would prob be crusher since it was trending up. So if i am in your mind motivated by a need to get a townie lynched instead of Crusher, then why would i not bother being active during the crucial hours needed to sway the vote?

I think Crusher-Kivam would be an unlikely, but not impossible, team.  That means POE is down to Hallia/Calder/Shad......../Kiv......../ZanderFPS.  Calder-Shad should never be teammates, so Hallia is pretty much guaranteed mafia at this point?

FWIW I don't think Crush/Kiv is a team but like you said not impossible. They both know each other well enough from playing together on JN. My perspective is that I didn't sense team shenanigans going on with that though. Crusher seemed genuinely pissed about getting caught.

 

I like your thought on Hallia and agree Calder/Shad not a team.

I wonder how Calder feels about Shad now? IMO he's basically locktown.

I went to double check your work.  I got literally one post into the ISO before calling it quits.  There wasn't much ambiguity there 

 

FYI.... I wanted to respond to something you said close to EoD... but dealing with my dog and such, I got distracted. What you said about Nolder... is true to some extent. My issue is with him making a point of saying he was the tie breaker a couple of times. It felt like he wanted it to be known and that bugs me. I would have felt better about it if someone else pointed it out... but on his actual vote post he said it... then repeated it a couple times later when talking to other people. So he's not getting a free pass on that merit alone. His content as whole is not that great imo. And frankly? I think Crusher shot himself in the leg and wasn't gonna make it far anyhow. And Nolder was starting to get looked at.

 

Also if I'm right about Shad... which I still think I am, breaking a tie between two teammates is moot. I agree that the chances of the two leading trains on day 1 being scum are low. But people seemed to be acting that the chances of Crusher flipping scum were low due to it being 'too easy' and his train being too static.... and we saw how that turned out. 

 

 

So in a nutshell... if Nolder keeps producing iffy content, his vote is not gonna give me pause.

 

Umm ok. I never called myself tiebreaker I said I tied the trains on purpose. I repeated it because some people apparently didn't see me say it the first time and were very confused about what I was dong and why I did it.

 

To be clear here, are you saying Shad is still a suspect in your book?
