I went to double check your work.  I got literally one post into the ISO before calling it quits.  There wasn't much ambiguity there 

 

FYI.... I wanted to respond to something you said close to EoD... but dealing with my dog and such, I got distracted. What you said about Nolder... is true to some extent. My issue is with him making a point of saying he was the tie breaker a couple of times. It felt like he wanted it to be known and that bugs me. I would have felt better about it if someone else pointed it out... but on his actual vote post he said it... then repeated it a couple times later when talking to other people. So he's not getting a free pass on that merit alone. His content as whole is not that great imo. And frankly? I think Crusher shot himself in the leg and wasn't gonna make it far anyhow. And Nolder was starting to get looked at.

 

Also if I'm right about Shad... which I still think I am, breaking a tie between two teammates is moot. I agree that the chances of the two leading trains on day 1 being scum are low. But people seemed to be acting that the chances of Crusher flipping scum were low due to it being 'too easy' and his train being too static.... and we saw how that turned out. 

 

 

So in a nutshell... if Nolder keeps producing iffy content, his vote is not gonna give me pause.

 

 

Not sure I agree.  I understand why you would think that - if it's Shad/Nolder/Crush, he pretty much knew one was dying - but Shad was gaining far more negative attention than Crusher had been.  I'm not sure I understand the idea of him offering up a lesser noticed teammate over a more outed?

FPS stands for "Fancy Play Syndrome".  It's the term applied for making a complicated, high-risk high-reward play over the more expected, "correct" play.  As it relates to night kills, the correct play for mafia is to kill somebody that might be the cop.  An FPS kill would be killing somebody you know isn't the cop to make a member of the mafia look better.

 

In the case I used it, you would be mafia.  You knew Dice wasn't the cop, but you shot him anyways, to give yourself the illusion of being a correct peek.  You might come out ahead because players write you off, but you run the risk of the ACTUAL cop investigating you or your teammate the same night.

 

And its pretty obv you should know Im not capable of any of this....lololololol. 

 

 

I'm inclined to believe it, but it doesn't mean your hypothetical teammate wouldn't.  In any case, I have no intention of lynching you any time soon.

Debatable. Shad was getting more attention up until Kiv pushed me. That much is true. But I think Crusher was getting just as much attention after that. I remember that at some point Sha'd train was gaining yesterday. But I also recall that at the same time, some people were town reading him... whilst I think most players admitted that Crusher's vote on me and then Kivam were pretty horrible 

 

Under the assumption that we are dealing with a Shad/Crusher/Nolder team.... and with the rules indicating that scum have no day chat..... if I were Nolder and I had two of my mates up on the chopping block? One with 5 votes and one with 4 votes? I would tie it too. He was getting attention as well, he needed some town cred. You can agree that adding a vote to Shad's train wouldn't make him look as good.... right?  As far as I see it, Shad was gaining some favor and getting some town reads from people (I can't remember from the top of my head who... and I don't want to incorrectly name people... but I distinctively remember Shad's name in the town pile of some read lists). So I think that at the end of the day... Crusher was getting lynched either way. So I'm not rushing to give Nolder leeway about this. At least not until I know Shad's alignment.

Immediate POE for me are Hallia/Nolder. Calder is an outlier but I'm not sure the "thanks for defending me" exchange with Crusher happens on thread from wolfbros. Wifom tho

Let me rephrase then. It's fine if he thought it was dumb... but even after Crusher's vote on me and them OMGUS vote on Kiv... he not only kept defending him but he tried to push Kivam. It seems kinda weird to me that at the time he didn't see anything... wrong?.... with what Crusher did... but then later when things progressed towards EoD he laid in that vote. I get that people get to change their mind and all that.... but the 180 looks shady imo and I don't think Crusher did much since then, other than the post where he pretty much said he'd be a good lynch and claimed.
