So now I now what the boot is when dose it begin

Once you are added to our user-group (something the site admins have to do for us), you will see more of our boards. Once that happens, you'll see an area for Recruits.... from there, the road map will be super obvious once you enter that area!

Hi new person

Listen... whatever you do... don't listen to what Zander says. He's insane. Or drunk. Or both.

Zander Slander imo

Zander isn't insane! Phyllis can testify to that!

me and me and me and me agree

Dont listen to them Void......they are evil!!!!!

First one

Ok so I'm waiting for my bootcamp to start so I thought I would try my hand at a JoTS.

Where to next no one can tell

No time to mourn those who fell

And now we march back on to hell

To dance with Jack o' the Shadows

Through clashing steal and thunders peal,

And blood and cuts be all you feel

And the battle haze be so surreal

This is the land of Jack o' the Shadows

Around the fire we sit and rest,

Well drink and sing and make a jest,

And than well turn out to rest,

To sleep with Jack o' the Shadows

zan ... look here

*coughs coughs*

"Now, the syllabic interpretation gets a little confusing. The first line has 9 syllables, and the second 10, and the third 8. But, when put into a Iambic rhythm, it makes perfect sense: "

Ok.... here's the official ruling:

The actual music, as stated by RJ, is the tune of Garry Owen:

If the verses fit within that march, it is correct. (Verses only, don't worry about the chorus).

Before we knew that was the song, since iambic pentameter is not easy for everyone, we just said to make it 8-10 syllables. So bottom line... if 8-10 syllables, it is good enough for points, but if it fits the actual song, it will always be correct.
