I don't know how much it means now, but it was bothering me during the heat of pursuit. Like, Key came in and reconfirmed her vote on Lenlo in light of new info so I guess I could probably remove that one. Then you had JS, Hally, Nyn, Razen, Pral, Wish, and Talya who I don't think even checked back in. That's a LOT of votes that are "empty" [for lack of a better term] at the end of the day. Like. That's a DANGEROUS amount of inactivity in a game this size. In theory we could have had 7 people on one slot who never bothered to check back in for the last 36-48 hours before EoD. Didn't matter in this case but this could be a problem later down the road.

When I'm available and am not totally outpaced. I only have my phone to read on and only then when I'm on breaks so I'm out for ~10 hours a day including drive time, sleep 8, dealing with this breakup stuff and then have 20-30 pages to read to just get involved.

 

Essentially if it isn't in the moment don't expect to see me much, my awareness and subsequently my presence are dog shiz

There was nothing stale about my vote. Yes, I wasn't around much the day of the deadline, as I indicated. The deadline falls within working hours. But even if I was around, I find it hard to believe I would have changed my vote.

Though I'll admit being very excited to read a scene that took 30min+ to write

Customs Agent Dave Kujan was following a lead, as always.  His life's work, it seems, was to pursue the legendary Keyser Soze, and any tip that could possibly prove that the man was not actually a myth.  He arrived at the docks in the dead of night - which, as it turns out was not as dead as he'd expected.  There was a great deal of noise from one particular cargo ship.

 

Agent Kujan kept his hand on his gun as he approached, walking quickly but quietly in a slight crouch.  A soft noise from the blackness to his right disrupted his pace, and the bullet stopped him dead in his tracks - quite literally.

 

 

Razen - Dave Kujan - The Cops Mafia Tracker, has been killed.

 

 

Dean Keaton hadn't asked to be the leader of this motley gang of criminals, but he'd naturally fallen into the role.  They'd been sent to the docks rather against his will; however, the implied threat to his girlfriend had been enough to ensure his cooperation.  He was crouched behind a stack of boxes, waiting for the signal from McManus, while Fenster and Hockney searched the ship.  The voice to his left was entirely unexpected.

 

"KEATON! I KNOW YOU'RE THERE!  COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP!"

 

Keaton jerked, knocked a crate from the pile between himself and the voice, and realized he would have to run.

 

"STOP OR I'LL SHOOT!"

 

Dean Keaton didn't stop, until the bullet took him in the back.

 

 

Nyce - Dean Keaton, The Usual Suspects Mafia Watcher - has been killed.

 

 

Freddie Fenster was on the boat.  Hockney was off somewhere, probably getting ready to plant some explosives.  He was looking for whatever this ship was carrying - there was supposed to be money, but barring that, there would be something he could sell for money, and that was almost as good.  This job had him on edge, and he'd be glad when it was over.

 

The problem was, he and Hockney were not the only ones on this boat.  He'd heard noises on this level as he was descending the ladder.  He tried to use extra caution as he rounded each corner, sidling up to the edge with his gun drawn, pausing for a moment, then flipping to his left with gun raised, ready to shoot anyone not named Hockney on sight.  

 

This one was clearly not named Hockney.  Unfortunately, his gun was also drawn, and his reflexes were as finely honed as Fenster's.
