Catching up at work, I feel like I like how Wombat is posting, I like the energy, but I don't like his reads. Primarily on Zander/Kiv. Yates is so so town. I dunno yet on Laine, but she feels relaxed to me.

Also, Clov's avi is really throwing me for a loop because it looks like one Sakaea used to have.

 

Kae had the Stark symbol from GoT, Clov's avi is the wolf brooch Cloud from FF7 wears. Kae's was white background, black wolf, Clov's is the other way around XD

 

(And it makes me miss my Cloud everytime I see it)

 

Kae also had the FF7 wolf brooch for a while, but with inverted colors - I think that was her avi when I first met her, before the Stark Direwolf.

@everyone unhappy with my lack of proof in my reads list:

It was more of a PSA, I'm not trying to convince anyone they're town. I'm more interested in trying to find mafia, then convincing you that said person is mafia. 

If a train starts up on one of my town reads without a good reason, I'll be backing them up. 

 

That's swell, but It's less about you convincing anyone that the people on your list are town and more about being able to get a read on you by understanding your thought process and be able to follow up on your progression. You could at least provide a short explanation on your reads.... otherwise it's equivalent to not posting a read list at all, in my book.

So yeahhh I don't really have much of anything that I can see as pinning someone as scum or town, except from the questions/interactions I've already had. If I haven't interacted with you, I'm just going to assign you a read from the content I've read.

I think that the nulls have the potential to evolve into scum. Also, sorry if you don't make sense and I read you as null, lol. Ughhh I'm just getting snarkier as I go. I'll shut up. (It's okay if you don't make sense, just start making sense... :x *shuts up*)

I asked Celeste for a little help on my nulls. Hope you don't mind. She guts them.

1.   Razen  : I like the points Razen makes. He makes lots of sense. Low amount of posts, but high content, imo.
2. Wombat/Ocicat: Wombat seems like a gut/tone player. At first, noticed a lot of fluff from him, but he seems to have cooled off and is starting to be more analytical. As for Ocicat, never saw a single post. Did notice him lurking my profile though!
3. Seph/Zander: I think Zander going after Kivam is in earnest. Don't think he's trying to fake that and don't think it's distancing. Seph I have less information about and would like to interact more with him (we only interacted in the fluff stage :'( )
4. Hallia: Hasn't posted much, and I haven't interacted with her, but again, as with Razen, I like what she has to say.
5. Sili: Very aggressive townie. Going after anyone who has any weirdness to their posting.
6. Kivam/Mish: Kivam seems earnest, though going for boosting his own ego in Day 1 is a bit off-putting (with the emo game). Still town. Mish not as sure, but very detailed reasoning and can back up her reads.
7. Laine: Haven't seen much from her except for her "kill all hydras post". At least, that's all I can remember. She's gotta contribute more content.
8. Shad: Eh...I don't even know. I like the content, but I'm unsure about the general lurkiness. Celeste thinks she/he is null/townish (she also doesn't remember the gender XD).
9. Talya: Also unsure...I only remember her being nice to Celeste and me. Not sure if she has much in the way of posting. Celeste likes her. :3
10. Pralaya: Being the much-talked about subject of Kivam and Clov's fighting, I wanted to see an appearance. Posts very little. Celeste is also unsure about
11. Lenlo: Uh....Posts very little... No clue. Not going to attempt to meta read him. Celeste's gut read on him is scum.
12. Yates: Very helpful player. Makes a lot of sense to me. In fact, he makes the most sense to me in this game. <3
13. Nyn/Dice: Think that Nyn is town. Seems like the same kind of attitude that Sili has. Dice? Have skimmed his/her (?) posts and honestly, nothing stuck.
14. John Snow: Reads list was pretty scanty and he hasn't posted much since then. Would prod him lots for information.
15. Clov/BFG: I like both of them. Clov answers my questions and is very helpful with explaining his reasoning, and I get what he's trying to say, though I think some of it is a little too nit-picky and he's probably focusing on the wrong points. I get that BFG has real life reasons for not being here, and I don't have a problem with them, because she's still contributing.
16. Beck Csarmi: I don't even remember seeing him posting. If I'm not hallucinating, he may have complimented me, but that's the only thing I remember. lol XD Beck was also a null for me, but Celeste thinks he was scummy because they have played together before.
17. Cory/Keyholder: Cory is funny. I think his tiff with Clov isn't contrived at all, and I think that they're both town. I like Key's posts a lot.
18. wish-tree/Celeste: My most solid reads ever.
19. Nolder/Darthe: Nolder is semi-lurkish. I think he has the same issue with this game as I do. I don't really have the strongest impression of some of the players, and he doesn't either. Darthe posts little, and 50% of it is fluff.
20. AJ: Uhh? People seem to think he's scummy. I don't have a problem with him, but Celeste says that her gut read on him is scum.

IRT the Wombat read - that's fair enough, but you called out AJ for having weak reasoning on Wombat being mafia - it was his gut.  If you're gut reading him town, I'm not sure why somebody can't read him another way?

1. Razen - seen a couple posts by him looks good so far.

2. Wombicat (Wombat/Ocicat) - wombat is talkative but haven't seen him do any real scumhunting, I'm guilty of this myself so w/e. no idea who OC Cat is.

3. Seph/Zander hydra - No opinon.

4. Hallia - Good so far.

5. Sili - Dirty filthy spammer that needs to be eradicated for everyone's sanity.

6. Kivish (Kivam/Mish) - Like Mish's posts and don't dislike Kivs posts. Think there is probably already at least 1 scum on their train hoping it will build.

7. Laine -  no opinion

8. Shad - no opinion

9. Talya - seen a couple posts but didn't read'em. Seems to be keeping up so good chance of being town.

10. Pralaya - no opinion. Has he checked in yet?

11. Lenlo - no opinion

12. Yates - Seems invested in some conversation or another. Yates is a tryhard though so that's pretty null imo.

13. Nyce (Nyn/Dice) - haven't really read their posts but I hope they are town because that's a scary combo

14. John Snow - no opinion

15. ClovFG (Clov/BFG) - BFG is nice. Clov I don't know very well. no real opinion

16. Beck Csarmi - I guess he posted but I didn't see it

17. CorKey (Cory/Keyholder) - Haven't noticed key posting but Cory seems to have good thread presence. don't think he has a problem with that as scum though. I'd guess if he's really keeping notes ask to see some of them eventually and if true he's town. I've never known scum to keep notes myself.

18. wish-tree/Celeste hydra - they seem talkative no real opinion on them though

19. Nolderf (Nolder/Darthe) - please kills us. this is an abomination.

20. AJ - no opinion

Post 1278 seems like a lot of words for something that might end up meaning nothing.  Kivam is definitely not afraid to bus, but he doesn't go out of his way to do it either in my experience.  I wasn't here for the Gambit, but my impression is that it was more of an exceptional example of Kivam's play than a typical one.  Kivam and Talya could clear that up if we feel like talking about it more   Regardless, I don't see it as being highly relevant to this game unless/until Zeph flips scum, and even then, the specifics of this game will take precedence.

Cause it made me think that I was continuing the exact type of conversation I got annoyed about in the first place (mechanics vs gameplay). That's also a reason I answered Yates when he asked, to get those thoughts out in a way that I hoped cleared up why I had reacted, but wouldn't prolong the non-gameplay conversation.

 

Your responses have been decent, unlike your other head. But Kivam still stinks up the place. So I guess we're at an impasse. Heh.

The gambit: after the game had started RL called Kivam and he couldn't play, so instead of getting a sub he came up with the of us going for each other. He went ott on the sole purpose of getting lynched, clearing me to take the game. There was a certain set of circumstances for that. So I don't look at him, through that game. So yes it was exceptional.
