Checked back in, read to mid-45, and going to post my first real vote of the game before getting back to work. I really don't like the way [v]Unvote. Vote:Zander[/v] interacted with me, and particularly the misrep with respect to AtE. And yes, I did deliberately wait for other people to call it out before acting on it; given the reactions I was getting, it was likely to be dismissed as spin if it just came from me. Zander, you didn't answer Celeste, or Talya, but maybe you'll answer me and a vote: what did you see in my post as AtE?

I answered this already.

You might as well choose 8 other random slots and focus on eliminating through them first. There is no logic in choosnig hydras specifically first. If you're gonna try and lynch me, do it on my actions, not because I'm hydra or have a odd-numbered slot or whatever. It's just an excuse for setting up lynches and I really don't ffeel it.

This post grosses me out on quite a few levels. Nothing about arbitrarily picking a group of players makes any sort of sense. Also why is no one lynching Alanna today? Know something that we don't?

I'm not the jokey type when I feel like a person is after me just because of something about my slot and not my play, no. This is my first full game in ages and I really want to play it, not be lynched because I had to hydra to be able to play. Also, not my responsibility that you sign up for too many games at once, don't let that go out on other players.

BFG's response in #708 is 100% a satiation of me and I don't ever believe that being genuine coming from someone as astute as her. She's trying to pin it back on me by saying "you should know that my posting is inverse to the game volume!" when she's been around and just doesn't seem to want to do anything besides make little "villagery" read WoTs. It looks so much more like her trying to mess with my head by having a conflicted read on me then her actually trying to read me.

Almost everything else from her is pretty standard line things that have been said before. Nyn is villagery because she's been abrasive. Razen is villagery because he made some really pure posts. Hallia had a good start etc. etc.

Refuses to come up with anything resembling a read on Kivam despite him being really the #1 source of discussion today.

Especially if her reason for not posting is that she's reading the thread, I would expect something more objective, unique points, but it's all the same backwash most of the loud people have been saying afaict.

She's a better villager than this.

Just going to assume this is for me...

I didn't say I wouldn't, like it's something I refuse to do. But I don't think I've ever interacted meaningfully in RT when behind on thread, because it's pointless. I don't understand the arguments being made and the questions I have are generally been answered and done to death before I get to them, nor do I want to distract the thread with fluff.

Currently I'm about 5 pages behind, but it is now near midnight and I need to sleep. I will be able to catch up (definitely this time), but that's about all. Hopefully I'll make it on thread before work tomorrow and also hopefully won't fall so far behind again, so maybe I'll get to a stage when I can interact, it's certainly easier :dry:

Essentially the issue with larger games is that I have to spend more time reading, which means less time posting, I'm pretty sure you know this?

I think it's kind of interesting that Wombat pulled up the post count when he was towards the bottom end of that list. I'm not sure what the point he was trying to make is, but it seems odd that it comes from the same end of the list that people tend to look unfavorably at.

But it does bring me to my next observation. People that I've seen pretty much only fluff from. Or rather, person. That's Lenlo. He did say that he was moving, to be fair, but I would still have hoped to see more when he was here.

The point I was making is that people are posting too much. Also, welcome to Lenloville.

Wombles, I'm not convinced you're the best lynch for the day, but you've literally done nothing this game. I'm seen you do these little empty quotes as both town as mafia so that means nothing towards your algnment, but you always do SOMETHING to actually build off. Even that post about Mish is close ended (for lack of a better word). Nobody can argue whether you really like it or not. :dry:

AJ is a very good "tone faker" as Mafia and sometimes relies on it, I remember him getting to like ~Day 4 in a POG game as a wolf solely on having good tone without actually even doing anything

Can see him trying to use it as a crutch as wolf

AJ is a very good "tone faker" as Mafia and sometimes relies on it, I remember him getting to like ~Day 4 in a POG game as a wolf solely on having good tone without actually even doing anything

Can see him trying to use it as a crutch as wolf

Is this meant to be in regards to his overall wolf game, or him this game? He's been ~fairly quiet this game, but his bigger reads post at least gives something to work with, and I didn't see any glaring logic holes. "More gut than anything" on Wombat doesn't explain much but I understand where he's coming from IRT Shad/Nyn/Kiv/Mish.

Fwiw I don't have feelings about Wombat one away another this game, besides finding his multiqyotes worthless. Yates did the same thing last night - quote and reply to posts that don't mean much of anything towards solving the game. Not sure its more than null for Wombat in one way or the other.

AJ said he had a gut feeling about womby, IIRC.

Last night Yates might have had a few that weren't much toward the gamesolve, but he also had several after that were prodding and imo were contributing to gamesolve, so why the misrep, here? I'm feeling hella good about Yatesy right now. Especially after his posts today.

Wombat's though were ALL fluff. Like I mentioned a page or so back, it makes me wary because this is exactly how he started the last game I was in with him - where we were on a scum team together.

I recognize that I have a job to do. Do you think I'm not doing it?

If your job is posting funny gifs, then I do think you are slacking just a tad.

You must have missed my stuff with Zander, Laine, and Hally then. Regardless, the number of people trying to read me off of supposed fluff is interesting to say the least.

I don't really look for "logic holes" on players that have no problem playing the game logically in either alignment

It's not exactly difficult to keep a straight narrative and for a lot of players doing so or not doing so is not really alignment indicative

I don't remember anything helpful in that reads posts but I'll look again

Seph had some posts I thought were okay

As much as I love Zander he can be incredibly poor at defending himself and explaining what he thinks in a way that other people will understand, so ultimately not confident in the Kiv narrative that "he's not making sense therefore he's wolfy"

You had something you didn't like about Seph IIRC, can you remind me what it was

I'm not going to force reads to make you 'happy' I'm not trying to 'placate' you or 'mess with your head', I'm trying to explain where I'm at.

Kivam's a good player, I haven't noticed any of the twisting stuff that I 'caught' early last game, but I haven't seen him really get involved either outside of defending himself, so, so far I don't have anything to push him out of null. I guess the strongest point I have at the moment is that he's not trying to lead discussion, but how much of that is due to the fact that he's been on the defensive most of the say I don't know.

I've misread you in most of your recent games that I've seen, so want to wait for the moment and see how you act at end of day (at the least), at the moment probably leaning town
