My point was instead of viewing someone as scummy for dropping a bogus vote they can potentially sit on, you should wait and see who's sitting on bogus votes.

 

its in the 20's and your vote is still on us? seems like a bit of hypocrisy

 


I think the spoiler tags got messed up... Anyway, I find what Seph pointed out about Shad VERY interesting and it bothers me that I missed it myself. Lecturing others while doing the same thing yourself. He's still sitting on that vote. [unvote] [v] Shad[/v]

So...for how long this game is, it's actually kind of light in content for the first few pages.  Made what I was looking for easy.  Because I didn't find it - Hallia's the only one really pushing the point that I thought I was looking for.  But what I did notice when Hallia made her point was this:

 

 

Between the Kiv sass and Mish's defensiveness, that is the way to go for now until I see anything better.

Laine's +1 sticks out.  Egging it along, but not committing to the push.

Difference between the two, Zander commits to a vote on Kivam/Mish later on in the thread.  He piggybacks Sili to do so, but he has a reason.  Laine just seems to be egging it on, but not really wanting to commit to it herself.  Her vote's also been parked on Nolder and Darthe for a while.  It leads me to believe that she hasn't left the lynch all hydras thing.  If I recall, it's why people were pushing Kivam because Laine's was game related and his wasn't.  But Kiv/Mish have progressed beyond that, while Laine hasn't yet.  Which given that we're now into the content-phase of Day 1 is somewhat alarming.

It's something that stuck out to me.  I think it was Sili and Hallia that were explaining that the difference between Kivam and Laine's positions with pre-announced votes was that Kivam's was not game related and Laine's could be as long as she then made reads and progressed them based on what happened in the thread.  I think that's a fairly reasonable position to take, and based on that statement, I haven't seen Laine start to progress beyond her hydra position yet, which is why I pointed it out.

Just so everyone knows, this is why I hate big games.

I'm constantly in catchup mode and have no idea what's what, who's who, or what is going on.

I hope this game has a lot of guns in it.

sometimes ppl don't catch up, but pay attention to what's going on while they are here.

 

Yeah just decided that's the approach I'm going to take.

That was your vote and explanation.  You could have just voted him and made a comment like "Come out and play" and left it there.  You deliberately pointed out that you associate him with lurking as mafia, and you point out that he's not being active.  You didn't say, "I think Pral is scum", but I think there's a pretty clear insinuation in that post.

So when reading through the thread previously I saw Kiv go after Pral for not posting yet and catch some heat for it.

My opinion on that is that Kiv is justified because Pral usually does take prodding but also I think it's really early in the game for prodding anyway so...both sides are kind of right on that?

 

Thinking Kiv was just looking for something to latch on to. Null imo.

I see the Kivam stuff as a mountain out of mole hill, not seeing it. Also not seeing the Emo that Zander said, except for the false one. If one things about Kivam I haven't learnt, is he likes the last word (must be the lawyer in him).

 

Nyn isn't looking that bad for her push.

 

Sili is a bit Meh! but I always get him wrong.

 

Hally started off good, don't agree with what she said on Kivam

 

Zander is toned down (at last), feels stretching on his emo stuff with Kiv. Seph not looking so bad, wondered about his commentory on his play, and how he was changing it, then did the WoT he was building up to.

 

Want to see more on BFG, Laine, and others I've already forgotten :p

 

On a game this big that's about it atp

Dice seems energetic.

 

Im exhausted  this week has suxed big ones!  its friday hopefully things will be quieter and i can play at work.

 

Dice BFG's villager game is much different than it used to be

 

Maybe you haven't noticed cause she's been too busy owning your soul :P

 

But her average post count has skyrocketed and she's several times more open and confident in her reads

 

I only spoke about her Wots Cory. Your right she is much more active does really indepth looks  but her Wots haven't changed. They have a certain tone to them when shes town

 

 

 

Nyn has been...abrasive in how she's asked some of her questions and given her responses.  It's different from what I'm used to seeing, but that isn't a bad thing.  I've generally liked the way she's pushed the misrep of Pralaya's meta from Kivam.

Difference between Laine and Kivam is Kivam has a fuse and Laine has a rule. These things speak to their mentality. Therefore if Kivam uses the fuse to not play the game, this is bad. Whereas Laine can continue using her rule of thumb as long as there is genuine progression.

 

I have never seen Kivam "not play the game."  Ever.

 

 

 

OK, genuinely not liking the byplay between Sili and Hally there.  Have no idea what the relevant difference they're relying on is.  Someone care to explain?

You (seemingly) voted AJ due to anger carried over from another game.  It had nothing to do with this one.

 

Laine is (seemingly) using her hydra position to try and figure out this game.  But obviously her position on LAH needs to change with evidence/reads, so she needs to have some kind of progression.  Otherwise it's a poor excuse for play.

 

 

Why shouldn't that apply equally to Kiv's vote?

Step 2: I'm wondering if that's really his thought process or he's just looking for someone to FoS, so I ask for his view on Hally doing the same thing to me

 

Step 3: He says "oh, that's different because [explanation I don't follow at all]"

 

Step 4: Hally says "yep, that's why it's different"

 

Step 5: You townread Hally for it.

Hallia's probably a villager because she's acting like she does as a villager

 

As for your sour grapes with AJ and what it implies in this game - I don't care. If you are going to make it into what this game is about for you, I fully support eye rolls until you discuss something that people actually care about
