Arguing game mechaanics over actualy gameplay = BLEH. It doesn't help me the least in my style of playing. It just gives mafia an excuse to sit back and take it chill D1.

Oh I agree here. There were a couple of people that spent too much time talking about how people "should" play the game, and I think that's a similarly easy place for scum to hide without providing real content. So I've noted it and continue to monitor.

Kivam did this in the last game, It was all about mechanics, not seeing it so much here. Mish is coming across as honest.

So...for how long this game is, it's actually kind of light in content for the first few pages.  Made what I was looking for easy.  Because I didn't find it - Hallia's the only one really pushing the point that I thought I was looking for.  But what I did notice when Hallia made her point was this:

 

 

Between the Kiv sass and Mish's defensiveness, that is the way to go for now until I see anything better.

Difference between the two, Zander commits to a vote on Kivam/Mish later on in the thread.  He piggybacks Sili to do so, but he has a reason.  Laine just seems to be egging it on, but not really wanting to commit to it herself.  Her vote's also been parked on Nolder and Darthe for a while.  It leads me to believe that she hasn't left the lynch all hydras thing.  If I recall, it's why people were pushing Kivam because Laine's was game related and his wasn't.  But Kiv/Mish have progressed beyond that, while Laine hasn't yet.  Which given that we're now into the content-phase of Day 1 is somewhat alarming.

It's something that stuck out to me.  I think it was Sili and Hallia that were explaining that the difference between Kivam and Laine's positions with pre-announced votes was that Kivam's was not game related and Laine's could be as long as she then made reads and progressed them based on what happened in the thread.  I think that's a fairly reasonable position to take, and based on that statement, I haven't seen Laine start to progress beyond her hydra position yet, which is why I pointed it out.

I think too many people lept on the "If my memory is right, he likes to lurk as scum, and hasn't checked in yet" statement as an obvious scum tell and the whole thing feels overplayed. His Pral comment is misleading but I expect intentional Kiv spin to have more of an agenda and the statement might have just come off wrong.  He's spent a lot of time defending himself and he's taking heat for it, but that's what you do when people bombard you with questions and I'm pretty null on his answers.  They don't seem like a stretch.  My issue is with Kiv's other head and it's something I have to weigh against a bad feeling irt the pressure on him.

The last 3 or so games I've played have gotten kicked off in the first hour, usually with a l-3/4 train in the first 48. This game feels far slower by comparison.

sometimes ppl don't catch up, but pay attention to what's going on while they are here.
