The thunderous roar of steel on steel caught the ears of even the human's back at camp.  It was a deep, throaty clash of metal, pounding in a rhythmic chant that could not be mistaken.

 

This was a battle cry.  Quickly all manner of people began to sprint back to town but by the time you made it there a ring had formed and seeing what was going on became difficult.  Then, you heard it, the first chime of combatants meeting.  

 

Pushing between two elves you slid to where you could see this contest.  Quickly one side of the ring began to root for a combatant and you found yourself cheering the other.

 

It would be on the group to decide this one.

I had re-read what everybody said about me, and his was the flimsiest of them all.

This makes it hard for me. Pizza is another suspect. And as Yates said, Verb doesn´t necessarily have to be town. Not sure if I have seen gladiator as mafia. Has anyone?
