H'ok!  First 10 pages down.  Allll the spam!

Sili trying to kickstart the game as per usual.

You should probably vote him then Sili, no?

 haha

Just realized pizzaguy was in here, I know you from the championship game.
Anyone else happen to be around?

Tress !! You will always be my first :)
Mentor jeesh...

Do you aj, and you tress use the same opening posts every game? Lol

Do you aj, and you tress use the same opening posts every game? Lol

Not that I'm aware of
You think I would be use to these smileys by now lol.

[v]dingus[/v]

Hey! No voting my hydra-half!

*Tunnels Sili*

BTW what do we call you and monst?

So Seph is scum guys. Not sure how strong the read is yet, but it's definitely up there.

Do you aj, and you tress use the same opening posts every game? Lol

Basically, it looks to me like he's overthinking what he says. He's very nervous.
? I am not nervous.
I am curious why you find my posts suspicious though.
Those are actually serious questions.
Last game I was in with aj and tress I believe they used the same posts.
I don't want to be confused when I am talking to two people who are on the same team. I thought it would be easier to call them by one name.

? To me it seems you are because of the sort of questions you're asking. I don't understand them, or what effect you were hoping for as town. It seems like you're asking questions just to look active to me.

"Last game I was in with aj and tress"

- fair enough, maybe I'm missing context.

"I don't want to be confused"

-make up your own name for them?

Cassadin

Monster Cass

Alanna I might like where you're going with this

Anyway gonna stop spamming now and get back to my movie. I'm pumped for this game!

You said you were pumped for the game, but then you bailed! How could youuuuuu

Hi.  I don't know Alot of you, and only recognize pupil Zander, SiliSquirrel whom I have forced relations upon (gotta keep it pg-13 here I'm told), and Half of Batman and Cassowary.  Oh, and Sooh I guess.

=o OH I SEE HOW IT IS.

Sooh even though you gave a reasom for your voting...i dont like it...

[v] Sooh [/v]

Hello and Happy Mother's Day to all the mother's here!!

This vote doesn´t look good. You are voting the person that has been talked about lately but not stating a real reason.

its a feeling hence why i said i didnt like it,  its early and things can change.  not gonna fret or worry about throwing my vote out to my gut feel this early in the game.

Mmm.  I like your relaxed tone, and that you didn't seem particularly bothered or defensive.

I will always buddy tress at the starting of the game regardless of alignment, as you can see most people do.

Ep, so are you just going to avoid my question.

EP quote  "The rest of my points are valid" Can you tell me what points? the only thing you have said is you think my case is a stretch. and you just took back your only other point...

I was the first player to post so there was only one player in the thread "so then there was one" was the most viable statement. Saying it rubs you the wrong way... very poor attempt to cast suspicion.

Also for the record most games with a check in window usually don't start til that is over. If you're going to go after a single individual for something when multiple people are doing it another even admitted they were doing it too, makes you very scummy. So FoS at you, I'll probably be voting you later unless I see something more telling.

If that was those posts intended purpose, why are you defending it here. you are trying to use the mod's quote to make it seem ok to take a back seat.

This statement reads to me that you were not planning on doing much of anything for another  30 hours? or whatever the timer was at during this post.

I'm liking EP in the bit I've read so far.

I'm finally back home and on a computer. Bleh.

EP can you explain why you are calling Seph and I teammates after you just stated that Eldrick (Tress?) was the one you meant? Just curious on your reasoning.

@SIli: I'm "arguing" with Andrej on multiple threads about the name thing, so I think it's not really out of nowhere. I still think your exchange with Eldrick was weird, I'm not calling it scummy, because you're playing particularly pro-town from what I can tell, so I'm not going to dig into something unless I really have reason to.

I did change my mind with Sooh because my brain was mistaken on how many time she had flipped votes (I thought it was three at the time.... meh), but it's not really pinging me anymore like it was. I am going back to look at other interactions though, to see if something else had caught my attention.

@Seph/EP: I believe any kind of posting is okay at this point, especially on the weekend (and Mother's Day), it will keep the thread from dying. So while I don't think we should ignore reads until all people check in, I still think it's good to pay attention to who is just showing up to vote on what they see and who is actively participating while they can.

Good catch.  Maybe got the names mixed up?

Well I can't sleep, so I might as well eat. Sleeping and eating, my two favorite hobbies.

I am leaning voting for Zander, I have not done so because I see others have voted for him and I do not wish to create a runaway wagon which may harm discussion and relieve pressure on everyone else as well.

If the game is multiball, as I understand the term, that means we have a large number of guilty parties.

The discussion will, invariably, die if there are a large number of guilty parties and almost no reason for them to feel under pressure.

What will happen next is easy smokescreening. It is more pro-village to keep the tally low.

But for the record, Zander is my lynch choice today.

Sooh seems villagery, only because I've spoken to her before the game.

I have not a whole lot to read the rest of you based off of.

If you would interact with me more, it would be helpful. Vote me, say why I'm guilty or not guilty, ask me questions, engage in a joke contest, anything.

Welcome to DM Pizza!

I think you may have been over exaggerating a runaway wagon there, as  I don't see a wagon at that time o.O

Sorry my phone died.

Pizza my view of sili's meta is kind of hard to put into words. I mean most notably I think he has a volume tell (or did when last I played him) but I have a pretty good track record of correctly reading him as a villager. I think he's wolfed against me twice and fooled me once but it was also with tom who is a jerkface. I even think i suspected you at first that game sili then tom talked me out of it.

The other game was at pog and I think you died quick sili, but I don't remember.

I think sili you'd have a better handle of how well I read you than I do tbh.

Othe than that sili is a great mislynch target for wolves when he's a villager often times not necessarily due entirely to himself but I don't think he words himself properly when he's trying to talk himself out of suspicion all the time.

I guess it factors in a little bit to me constantly reading him villager but sometimes you gotta go with your gut In this game of mafia wolf and my gut is telling me silI is probably a villager

Dingus, if you're talking about meta-votes then I'm going to tell you you're overreacting.

I was like 95% joking lol

Sili is active regardless of alignment.  I've seen him high content as both alignments.

Third point (this one is new) You are so focused on me you're ignoring everything else in the game a true town player wouldn't focus so hard on a single individual thing.

I don't like this part of your post.  Bold is a judgement call and you can't honestly expect everyone to play like this.  How you're adding this in at this point in your conversation with Seph, trying to harden your case, doesn't look pro-town.

Krakalalalalaaakakakaaa! Happy to see you

I like this point.

Holy thread implosion on Mother's Day, Batman.

I'll do my best to catch up tomorrow, but I'll be sparse. I have meetings most of the day.

Slank cover already?

Scummy?

Scum.

gl in your meetings.

This could be so.  I'm keeping an eye on her (both eyes  )

Up through 17, and Eldrick/Sili going back and forth is confusing, their avatars are of similar shade, and it's making them blur together. ><

At some point in the last 15 minutes you lost me.

Yates?

I'd also be interested some more explanation here, AJ.

Do you have any thoughts / a case beyond this?

Does anyone have any specific questions for me before I log off for the night?

Sure.

Why do I feel you could be scum this game?

Posted

The question was for Hallia but I guess she's gone now.

Yes, Yates. I've been rolling the idea around in my head most of the day that he could be scum here. It's a little hard to articulate but I am just getting bad vibes from him. Usually by now I think I would feel reasonably okay about him if he were a villager considering the amount of content he has. The fact that I don't worries me. There's some things he's done that trouble me and I feel like since I am shoring up on some of my villager reads and he is left out of them this is a positive direction for me to move in.

For instance, I wasn't particularly fond of the way he reacted to Sooh voting him earlier. The way he postured around Seph and the EP wagons made me uncomfortable then and still does now in light of EP's soft balling and Seph's later profession. He hedged on his read of Zander saying he liked the post but also leaves himself open to possibly move there later. I also think he went over the top complimenting Tina on her posts and I'm curious as to his focus regarding me and my read of her. He also made a comment towards her early on that basically soft balled a town read on her slot. I haven't really decided how I feel about the entire interaction completely but I could see scum!Yates doing this as a pocketing attempt on a town!Tina

Oh, and the throw away vote on Alot that I forgot to mention. He's done a lot of posturing around some players that were being discussed at the time but I don't get the impression he's really pushing in any direction. For instance he talks about having Seph and EP wagons being a good thing but never really drives either of them. For him later to throw a vote on Alot seems too easy and doesn't come with a lot of accountability.

Meh.

Tried to comment on a couple of things during my lunch break today, but my data network on my phone was being uncooperative and I lost a couple of posts and ran out of time.  Not that there was anything earth-shattering or profund, to be frank.  I'm generally lost D1 in large games, and there are far too many of you in this one that I either can't read well (or at all), or haven't said anything that stuck with me very long.

If I were to make a reads list, it would be nearly all null, with a few mild town leans due to gut feelings, and generally completely useless.

Not sure on Dice yet, which has me slightly worried - I'm usually pretty sure of him when he's town rather quickly, but I don't know when was the last time I played with him in this size of a game as town so I'm not sure if it's due to the size of the game or the alignment in his role PM.  We were both in the Avengers: Age of Ultron game, which was 24 players, but he was mafia there, so he was characteristically hanging back.  Most of the time when I'm sure about him it's in a smaller game where he's able to be more front and center, but I feel like he's less opinionated this game than I expect from Town!Dice.

Other than that, though, my own opinions are hazy, so I can't get on his case too bad.

Getting warm fuzzies from Hallia, Seph feels pretty natural to me, I feel like I can follow Tina pretty well, Eldrick isn't striking me as particularly scummy (which is a change, so probably a good thing)... I'm cautiously optimistic about AJ, Verb and Leelou both look townish.

Sili and EP both baffle me as always - EP looks to be pulling one of his classic dubiously beneficial schemes, which I guess means he's probably town.

I won't be able to wrap my head around much here without a couple of flips to narrow the focus and provide some hard info.  If there's something in particular you'd like to draw my attention to and get my opinion on, I'd actually appreciate the help.  I skimmed most of the day today from work on my phone between actual work, and I'll probably have to go back and re-read chunks of the game to figure out what was important.

I've noted/been considering most of the same points WRT Yates. Subjectively though, neither of you are coming across as convincingly Town to me. This should be interesting to watch...

I will agree on this. It is my read too that Dice is less townish than I would expect him to be.

Weird. These are my words in post 668:Seems an odd reason to vote someone. How is that any different from how a cop would approach the game to try to find the best investigation target at night or a vig might go about identifying a target for his NA?To me it looks like game solving. And that's the opposite of the conclusion you came to. Why do you think that is?

I have never thought about viewing it from a cop perspective to be honest.

I don't think a vig would vote jump like that, as they are not going to want that attention on them.

That was my point yates it could be taken both ways. I feet early on he was game solving.

Then he felt the need to tell us he was wielding it that way for a reason.

I didn't really understand his reasoning for jumping on ep. I agree with ep it was weird for him to answer aq post directed a pizza.

I remember EP saying silli unvote looked natural, but I don't even recall that he gave a reason.

EP said my unvote was sensible, not that it was natural.

Actually you're both wrong. the word I used was reasonable.

1. What are your leans on Zander/Sooh and their interactions?

That's a tomorrow question. I don't have the time/energy to deep ISO that stuff.

Actually, I still like Tina's case on Zander. IDK if that helps?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but he did say previously he was thinking that I was hinting something along the lines of Mason? Oh wait please look below because there is the post about.

@Tina, lets just leave it at I have a good feeling.

Oh, the good feeling argument again.

He's obviously hinting at something along the lines of masons. I'd keep my eye on it but let it go for now.

All of this communication was based on my feeling on Zander. Yet By Yates' own words he likes Tina's case on Zander. If you're under the assumption I were hinting Mason as you say you are, why are trusting a case on the only person I defended?

[v]Yates[/v]

This is a good place to go. Clearly a different reason from you there but we're going on the same pages. I'm getting towny vibes from you.

With my reasoning and AJ's reasoning combined I feel like there is a solid case on Yates. While I still don't trust Seph, for now I'll UNVOTE VOTE: YATES

Cautiously with you on Dice, Tina, Eldrick and maybe even Verb and Leelou so far here Tress (though due to game size I'm happy to give Dice a little longer to warm up before getting too worried).

Can you elaborate on what you mean by 'his classic dubiously beneficial schemes'  in the bold on EP? Eg. Can you give me a run-down on EP's usual Town/Scum play as you know it?
