Ekens and Bulbasaur battled for what seemed like an eternity. In reality, it was only a few minutes. Constantly dodging and missing, they danced across the foggy arena.

Though they fought hard, Ekens was clearly faster and stronger. Bulbasaur couldn't keep up, and took too many hits. He lay on the ground, struggling to move.

"End this Ekens!" BFG yelled.

"No!" RTE jumped in front of Bulbasaur. Ekens pushed him out of the way, the, her tail shining, whacked Bulbasaur as hard as he could. He flew through the air, then landed on the ground his eyes closed.

"How disappointing." The voice said. "I had hoped to prove the good of men through this little experiment. I though that perhaps seeing pokemon and trainers work together would be enough to bring Mistress Heart out of her depression. Her little Growlithe, the last remnant of her dead family, passed away not long after her last competition. She was lost to grief. You all had the means to reach her. The numbers in the library would have opened the locket. The key inside would have opened the door to where she was. Even having someone of good merit when the competition may have been enough. But very well." John Snow and Seph reappeared in the hall. "Team Rocket has won, and the pokemon present here are theirs."

"Including you?" Firebird asked.

The voice did not respond.

Firebird held up the feather. "This feather gave off a rainbow when the light of Bulbasaur's Solar Beam hit it. I know what you are."

A flapping sound was heard, and a great wind blew all of the fog out of the hall. The trainers all gasped. There, in front of them, was the legendary pokemon Ho-oh.

"Excellent job, Firebird. You have figured out who I am. But no, I will not be going with Team Rocket today."

"You wanna bet? Seph yelled. "Koffing, poison gas!"

Ho-oh flapped his wings powerfully, dispersing the gas. "I do not subject myself to the petty whims of man. I am here to see that great trainers unlock their potential. Mistress Heart is one of the greatest trainers on this earth, but she has become lost in her grief, as all of you have become confused by your own fear and greed."

Ho-oh turned his gaze to the League Trainers "Perhaps, one day, you will all be deserving trainers, and will see me again. Until that day..."

Ho-oh's feather's shone with the light of the sun, and then he was gone.

RTE, trainer of Bulbasaur, League Trainer, has been knocked out of the competition.

BFG, trainer of Ekens, Team Rocket, has won the game for Team Rocket

You and your pokemon [insert pokemon] entered in the competition to prove that you are the best, and you are also intrigued by all of the mystery surrounding Mistress Heart and her island…
Your alignment is TOWN. You win when all Team Rocket members have been found.

You, your pokemon [insert pokemon], and the rest of Team Rocket are here to steal all of the pokemon of the other competitors, as well as whatever riches may be hiding on Mistress Heart’s island…
Your alignment is MAFIA. You win when Team Rocket has control over the votes.
Team Rocket QT

You and your pokemon, Jigglypuff, are here to show what you can do—but not in the battle arena. You know Jigglypuff has what it takes to be a star, and you know that if Mistress Heart hears Jigglypuff sing, she will agree and will become a sponsor. You want to successfully sing in front of Mistress Heart, or at least last long enough to be able to talk to her…
Your alignment is NEUTRAL. You win by either successfully using “sing” once (will not end game, but you win no matter what) or surviving until the end of the game.

You brought your pokemon, Snorlax, here to try to figure out how to train it better. All it ever does is sleep. You know it can be really good in battle, if only it would wake up. You are here to ask Mistress Heart for advice (at some point when she doesn’t seem to be busy) or to try to figure out a way to make Snorlax participate in battle despite his sleeping obsession.
Your alignment is NEUTRAL. You win by either successfully using “sleep talk” once (will not end game, but you win no matter what) or surviving until the end of the game.
