Here it is!  The combination of two of two of the human race's most exceptional things: Star Wars, and jeopardy!  Here's some rules for the game:

• There will be a maximum of 5 players in this game.  First come, first serve! 
• In order to accomidate jeopardy on forums, there will be a bit different format.  In each round, each player will be able to request 6 different "new" questions - questions that haven't been answered before. You won't see these questions - you can only request the numbers.  (I.E. "Death Star" for 400)  This requesting is done by posting in the thread with the questions you request.  Questions will be sent in private message.
• The players can either answer these questions (either getting + or - points based on right/wrong answer), or pass and let the question go back on the board. 
• As soon as a question goes back on the board (either due to being answered incorrectly or not answered), the question will be posted with any incorrect answers and anyone will be able to request to answer it.  If you'd like to take answer one of these questions, post in the thread with your request.  You have to answer ones you request.  One of these requests at a time!
• This is a game testing your knowledge, not the knowledge of others or of Google.  Use honor, and do not research any of these answers.  There is no way to enfoce this, but by signing up for this game, you promise to only use your knowledge.  No researching any categories once the game starts!

tl;dr: Request your questions (6 max) - you'll get the in pm.  Answer the ones you want, let the others go.  Request any questions that come back to the board whenever you want, but you have to answer these.  No cheating or research, please!  Play like you are playing Jeopardy in studio.

All right, looks like we're going to have a traditional 3-player game!  That makes me happy

If you aren't familiar with Jeopardy, the rules are very simple.  In the real game, contestants hit a buzzer to answer a question once the moderator finishes reading it.  There are 6 categories of questions, each with 5 questions of different values.  Naturally, the more expensive questions tend to be more difficult!

There are also some "daily doubles" scattered in the game (1 in the first round, 2 in the second).  If you are lucky enough to find one of these, you select the amount of points you wish to wager, then you get the question.  

What you need to do now

There are 30 questions in round one.  Divided by 3 players, that is 10 questions a piece.  I am going to allow you to select 5 questions to start with - do so by posting in this thread with the questions you want to see.  I'll pm you your questions, and you may reply in pm with your answers.  Normally in jeopardy you answer in the form of a question (if you answer was Star Wars, you'd say "What is Star Wars?"), but I'll leave it up to you if you want to answer that way or not.   You may either answer or pass on each question - a right answer gets you the points specified, a wrong answer loses you the points specified.  Yes, you can go negative!  

 

If someone passes or gets a question wrong, I'll put it back on the board with any guesses.  Anyone else may post with their answer to that question.  Once you've gotten a question wrong, you can't answer it again!

Once everyone's selected their 5 questions, there will be 15 that haven't been selected yet, and yes, you will be allowed to go pick 5 more! (In the studio, questions are picked by the last correct answerer, but since this isn't real time, accommodations had to be made).

Once again, please no asking others or using the internet to search! Pretend you are in the studio playing
