YOU DECIDE TO HEAD TOWARD THE TESLA MACHINE EXHIBIT.

---

Thane Vakarian drearily walked out of the infirmary tent and headed toward today's excitement: some sort of science exhibit listed near the end of the billboard's entertainment venues.

As he started to walk, a strange wave of déjà vu overcame him. This had been his second night staying in the tent, but something he couldn't... interpret correctly was bouncing around in his brain.

Luckily, It wasn't too far from where he had been resting. It wasn't long before he saw the banner tied to two posts jutting from the dirt:

"TRY OUT THE TESLA MACHINE!"

Thane Vakarian looked for any sign of Brad.

"Brad's big on these stupid displays. I hope he's somewhere around here..." he muttered to himself.

As he walked into the display he was shocked how sparse everything was. There were a couple of chairs; maybe seven or eight, with two of them knocked over, and a large black locker in the middle on a flat showcase platform.

Or was it a locker? He wasn't sure. It was a pretty large container - maybe big enough to fit two or three people - with a barely-open door the size of the box's width. It was too dark to see what was inside from where he was standing.

Thane Vakarian looked around for any sign of life, made his best 'Oh, what the hell face' and took a step on the showcase. Curiosity had gripped him.

As soon as he opened the door to the... container, the insides lit up. Green florescent lighting detailed the interior, and some strange numbers showed in a display with a few buttons on the side. Right below the display panel was a large white button.

He shrugged. Walking inside the container - it seemed larger from the inside than it did from his view from the seating section, large enough to fit maybe five or six people comfortably - he peeked around for anything else. Just dark black walls and more lighting. Something blew the door behind him shut. A gust of wind?

Thane Vakarian turned around and tried to open the door. It wouldn't even budge an inch. He pushed harder - nothing.

He breathed deep. No time to panic. Maybe the button was some sort of unlocking mechanism? Trying to allow as little time as possible to get claustrophobic, he turned back to the display.

Another shrug. His hand hovered over the white button for a couple seconds, than with convinction, the world flashed brighter than he'd ever seen. Then the world went dark...

---

When he came to, he was lying down, head to the mat in a large tent. A red cross lined the inside of two flaps.

You did not escape. Try again? zPXU69O.gif

It is now Night 3. You have until 9:00 PM on 2/25 to make your decisions.

Dammit.  Pretty sure scum would not self-vote.  Too late to lecture Thane on the harms of selfvoting as a townie.  I wasn't paying attention to the VC.

Kaylee, why did you hammer with so much time left? Not blaming you for his lynch, just wondering.

Because he was in my scum pile and his last posts were scummy. I honestly thought he would flip scum.

Scum never self vote like that.  Well, hardly ever.  And I would not attribute that kind of play to Thane.

Leelou, you're kinda in big trouble come tomorrow.  Had Thane flipped scum, you may have skated along on that......but not now.

Kinda figured you would say that. Not upset with you for it either.

There was still plenty of time though to use in this phase.

Can you give me a color-coded list of your reads as of now?  Please?

Stupid cloudflare.

So he was town. Meh.

I need to go to bed now. Since I didn´t have much time before night I choose to check out Nol - Hallia. That´s the reason why I´m not fully caught up on everything from yesterday. I don´t work tomorrow so I will take a look at it then.

As I said, the reason that I wanted to take a look at Hallia - Nolder is that Hallia was one of my main suspects yesterday and everyone seemed to back off of her since Nolder voted her. This is what I found. (If I have missed anything in the Nolder - Sili back and forth feel free to add.)

#147 Nolder mentions Hallia in a list among others. Says she is scummy "hit and run".

Because  of this Hally then vote Nolder.

#207 Nolder says that he doesn´t remember Hallia´s meta and asks her to explain.

#404 Hallia is grey on Nolder´s list.

#831 Nolder list Hallia as mafia

#854 Nolder says Sili/Red/Hallia is the mafia team.

#891 Nolder votes Hallia after AJ´s reveal and agrees with me.

So yeh, I don´t see anything that clears Hallia here. She votes him d1 because of week omgus. He mention her without voting her until AJ´s reveal.

Now, I need to compare this to my other mafia suspects to see who seems most suspicous. I will go to bed now and do that tomorrow.

We can still afford one more mislynch before Lylo so long as there's only one death during this Night phase.

Gonna have to take it back to the drawing board.

For the record - I also think that was scummy of Thane. I couldn´t see the point with his selfvote if he was town. I thought it was a bluff.

Posted

Yeah, pulling that kind of move makes me look stupid for trying to defend you.

Don't know what you want from me. I'm town and voted someone i found suspicious.

Posted

I did too, in a way. I've never seen him self vote before even when he was a townie getting lynched.

Yet your criticizing me for hammering him?

He had been acting scummy before I voted him. Thane, Leelou and Hally were my suspects. I was voting Leelou but started double guessing myself so I unvoted. Then Thane came in with that scummy case Kay even though I think she's town comment so I voted there. I didn't do it right away. But the fact that I don't remember him just giving up and self voting like that as town made me think he was scum.
