Kivam are you voting for EP because you think he's Mafia? ... tapatalk again. No, because how he flips, and time does, will shed light on you, Locke, ley, and potentially the inactives

I fail to see how it would say anything about me or Locke.

Then you aren't paying attention.  EP has been vocally defending you; if he's scum, I'm more inclined to read that as actual defense rather than white knighting, given how generally flaily he's been (again, I'm aware "flaily" isn't a word, and I insist it should be).  Locke came in while EP was getting pressure, FOS'd you but voted for Time, essentially setting up a competing train ; again, if EP is scum, that would ring alarm bells for me.  If EP is town, then neither of those things are particularly meaningful any more (though Locke's vote would become meaningful again if Time is scum, since it could be both distancing and avoiding being on a townie lynch).  I'm also concerned that roughly half the game is inactive (despite being active elsewhere); odds are there's a scum or two in that group (big revelation, I know - 50% of the game is likely to contain 1 or 2 scum) and I don't want to lose sight of them while focusing on the talkative players.

For example, Yates. is currently online and posted in this forum a few minutes ago.  Deadline is in a few hours.  If he isn't about to post and contribute *poke poke* that would definitely qualify as "active lurking" and be worth some sharper focus on a later day

LOL - Give a brother more than 3 minutes to get caught up on the thread...

Plus, you recently scummed with me. Active lurking isn't my bag - so shame on you.

Okay, here's where we are...

Still a lot of talk about clock management. It's becoming a distraction. I forget who said it but I like the idea of saving it for night chat. Plus, at that point we'll know how much time we actually have [ie. did we lynch scum?].

The "slip" discussion ["we" vs "players"] was pretty lame. Spent too much time on it. Minor FoS on Turin for even starting it.

Otherwise, it looks like people voting people for disagreeing on clock management. Here's a news flash, the scum team is probably hiding in the people saying they want more time because that's an easy Town "look" to sell.

LOL.  Had a feeling both of those comments would be coming

With that said; I'm just going to do this:

[v]##Pral[/v]

Zero information lynch. I know. I'm over it.

The zero information part doesn't bother me.  (No, wait, that's a lie. It does.)  What bothers me is that unless I'm badly misreading this group and they are open to a CFD on a player who hasn't posted, this is a throwaway vote with no chance of having an impact on the lynch.  If both Time and EP are town, I'm looking here first

I think that Time and EP are both Mafia and did the whole fake argument over silliness to then work up to this blatant distancing vote from EP.

If I'm right then I might as well [v]## Time[/v] and get EP next round.

I don't understand the numbers. My time is limited. I work full time and look after my family in the evening. If you shorten the days to be based in America I'll be working, sleeping or busy.

Just a thought.

I understand you think that EP and I are both mafia and are distancing, but the second part was basically my reasoning for the opinion that among those who voted less than 24 hours are the mafia.... I am not understanding why you chose me instead of EP because what I am gathering from your post is that EP is doing most of the supposed distancing.

Nope. Not a throw away vote. And here's a hint; it has something to do with my recent activity.

Interesting that you were tracking my activity while neglecting the activity of someone with ZERO posts in the game...

You all seem to be getting along well.

Well, I *do* have a new stalker, it seems. *cough* KIVAM *cough*

Is it getting crowded in that bush outside my window, Darthe?

No.  Definitely room for one or two more.

Got no clue on the vote on Pral, unless he was active lurking and you saw it; I only mentioned you specifically because you were the latest post in the Elimination Game thread (which meant either you'd be posting here soon or there was something to look at).  Care to elaborate?

Any chance of poking/replacing/modkilling inactives? I don't mind losing to a well played scum game, but an inactive who slides through without pressure for that reason just makes me hate mafia.  And it's never pro-town, because inactive townies just mean fewer town votes counteracting scum, and a greater ability of scum to influence lynches (which also makes me hate inactive players as scum, since it cheapens my wins when I do win).

Care to elaborate?

No. I refuse to elaborate on my intentions.

Also, ftr, since this is a hybrid hammer game there's really no such thing as a "throw away vote." Also also, regardless of what you think of the activity of this player base, you are aware of MY activity level and know I'll be here to change my vote as/if required. And that's really all you need to concern yourself with irt how I wield my vote hammer.

i'm struggling to read the thread today at work. From what i see in the game, there are two people here that strike me as off.. EP and Kivam. True, this is my first game with EP, and perhaps i just don't know his style, but his play doesn't do it for me. With Kivam, it's... i dunno... I'm a terrible player when it comes to explaining, and D1 is mostly gut for me, and i'll go with these two.

[v] vote EP [/v]

Yes, that is absolutely what you should take from a post explaining that I have the same reaction as both town and scum - that I'm claiming it's a towntell for me. Because ... reasons?

I saw that you remembered to add an after thought in brackets so your empassioned plea to the Mod might not seem too obvious.

But sadly the dialogue of certain people in this game is so wooden it might have been written by Lucas.

So, to be clear, I'm showing how townie I am by remembering to make clear that my post isn't an alignment tell, which is an alignment tell, which makes you think I'm scum.

Oh...kaythen.

Also - I'm finding it quite telling that none of the people I'm suspicious of have launched a counter attack. Generally a Town would think I'm attacking them because I must be some devious and evil Mafia type. The fact that I'm being left well alone means that people are trying to not attract or keep my attention.

I mean - not one person has accused me yet. It's just weird.
