Meg had looked into the cherubim's ovoid eye and found herself pulled through and deposited in a place that looked exactly like the star watching rock in her north pasture - except for the sky full of unfamiliar stars overhead.  Mr. Jenkins had chosen to come, and Calvin was there, which warmed her heart.

 

"Where are we, Blajeny?" Calvin asked.

 

"Metron Ariston."

 

"What is Metron Ariston?  A planet?"

 

"No, it's an idea.  A postulatum.  Metron Ariston makes it possible for all sizes to become relative, so that while you are here, you may converse with a giant star, or a tiny farandola.  And now," Blajeny said, "we will welcome the other member of this class."

 

From behind the smaller of the two glacial rocks, a tiny creature appeared and scampered over to them.  Small, silver blue, and rather mouse-like, still Meg thought it appeared to be more of a sea creature than a land creature.  Its large velvety ears faded to lavender fringes at the tips, which waved gently in the breeze like plants moving with the currents of the ocean.  Its long, lavender tail twitched with a fish-like fin at the tip, and its pupil-less eyes shone like moonstones.  This must be a farandola.  Meg blinked in shock.

 

The shape of a Mr. Jenkins blew across the horizon.  Blajeny looked grim. "Echthroi at work. If they are able to reach us here, the situation is dire."

 

Blajeny turned to Calvin and advised him, "You and the farandola Sporos must work together.  You all must do whatever you must to overcome the Echthroi.  When you get there, my children, you will know."

 

"When we get where?" Meg asked.

 

"To one of Charles Wallace's mitochondria."

 

Just then the psuedo-Mr. Jenkins they had seen earlier reappeared, and began rushing toward them.  Louise the Larger slipped out from behind one of the rocks and hissed terribly, while Blajeny spread his arms wide and pulled Calvin, Meg, Mr. Jenkins and Sporos into their span. Proginoskes caught Meg in his wings, and she felt herself pulled once again into his ovoid eye.

 

Then all was darkness.  Meg could feel the presence of the others within her mind, Calvin reaching out to her.  She could feel Mr. Jenkins' fear. She reached out her hand to him, feeling responsible, and then she was being consumed with flame.  She could sense a violent jolt in the cosmic rhythm, a screeching disharmony.  She could not breathe. She tried to scream, but there was no sound.  She was being consumed with pain so intense that she was sure she could not survive another second.

 

And then there was Calvin, within her mind, flooding her with peace, and Proginoskes by her side, speaking her Name to her.  "You are Named, Meg.  You are Named forever."

 

Within the greenish-black darkness of the mitochondria, they heard the shriek of the defeated Echthros, and smelled the stench of decay.

 

Tommy, Echthros - 1x mafia rolebocker, has been lynched.

Meh. I was going to just follow the cop today. No such luck. I don´t believe that there is another RB in this game. It is a basic game ofter all. That said, I don´t know why there was no death and why Sleeper didn´t get any confirmation. As mafia it would be stupid to try to kill him when there is (probably) a doc in the game. One thought is that Sleeper isn´t the cop after all. Am I being too paranoid?

@Tina - well I am the doc, I protected Sleeper and there was no death. I can't see how you can get to a different conclusion than that Sleeper is town. I think Tommy is gonna flip 1×RB actually and the theme is tha mafia has all of them a single RB shot. Which is an interesting idea and basic enough.

@Sleeper - yea pretty much. I don't think a doc + a weak doc would coexist in a basic game. Actually i don't even think a weak doc would exist in a basix game.

 

Your theory seem to be right. 

 

Alright. We aren't really protecting anyone anymore, I suppose.

The rest of the claim is legit. While our research on farandolae within the microscopic mitochondria is important, we are the wrong kind of doctor [microbiologist] so we can only keep Charles safe with our vote.

My advice moving forward is that Err and jmm were popular lynch targets for Tom and Sili, so be careful about lynching them. Just make sure you have a good reason. A good reason NOT to lynch them would be Tom and Sili both voting Err on day 2, and I think jmm getting legit mad at Sili (it may have been Tom, not sure I'm remembering this properly).

Manbat - pretty much as clear as anyone can get. there's a complete lack of dressing up that his wolf game tends to have and he's been paranoid and all-over-the-place in a roguish and intelligent way and I can follow him 100%. literally every time that I'm swimming lap for lap with him he's a villager; he cannot replicate that mindset for a long period of time as a wolf. I read him very, very well. he's 100% obvious to me. to be brief: I AM VERY GOOD AT READING HIM. I AM 100% SURE ON HIM. DO NOT TALK YOURSELF INTO BEING SUSPICIOUS OF HIM IF I DIE.

 

Tina - once upon a time in a game run by Salami i led a mislynch of Tina and swore i'd never let myself do it again. i read a bunch of her games and tl;dr i learned to read her. she gets mislynched a lot because her language can be clunky (english is her second language) and sometimes to the Mafia player looking for awkward grammar or w/e it can seem "off". her thought process, especially irt to me and to tommy, is extremely villagery for her. another player who can be LHF in Mafia, please think back to this read if a wagon on her starts developing after i die.

 

Tommyrod - if it makes you warm at night to feel like you need to kill Tommy before LYLO - 1 i would say go ahead, because he's got like 3% wolf equity. but he's almost always telling the truth here and i know his playstyle particularly well and there's few times i'm ACTUALLY confident in reading him one way or another. i've grown relatively healthily paranoid of him, but sometimes you just know that you are right and that's where i am. he hasn't made friends in this game so he probably can't last forever, but remember there is actually VERY LITTLE chance he's a wolf.

 

DiceTosser - most people know dice's town tells and he's hit on them all very hard here. AJ says the rule of thumb is that town!dice finds things and then harps on them constantly whereas scum!dice can mimic the confrontational tone but really doesn't look. the only thing keeping this slot from being 100% clear to me is csarmi's play, but i am willing to discount it to complete AIDS.

 

HalliaYates - i wish they were more obvious than they are, but Yates' harping is probably moderately villagery for him and i have a secret mechanical reason for thinking he's town which may come into import later. wish hallia had been more around this game because i read her far better :( i completely encourage tinfoils here if they are alive late-game.

My point in speaking up was to underline that I don't feel good about Sili at all.  I may not have played forum mafia before but I've played a bunch of irc mafia - days and nights were only a few minutes so you had to go by quick tone reads.  I don't like Sili's tone - it feels very mafia to me.  That's my read.  The rest listed in my "bucket" are much less strong but there nonetheless.  Your point brought up in defense of me (someone suspecting you) does you a favor, though.
